Abstract

This study aims to explain how the Muslim community responded to the presence of Christians in Cipatujah, as it is known that Christians came to Cipatujah around 1936, namely Javanese people from Salatiga who were brought by the leadership of a Dutch missionary named Tuan A. Van Emmerik. The method used in this research is the historical method by carrying out the stages starting from data collection (heuristics), levers (criticism), interpretation (interpretation) and writing (historiography). Data collection techniques used in this research are text study, observation. and interviews. The results of this study show that there have been ups and downs of relations between Muslims and Christians in Cipatujah. This can be seen from several conflicts that have occurred from the riots in 1996 to the burning of churches and Christian settlements in 2001. Keywords: Response, Muslims, Christians, Cipatujah.

Abstract

AbstractThis research seeks to explain how about health politics in Batavia and its relation with the Islamic doctrine in Netherlands-Indie at the end of the th-19 century. The historical approach taken in this study aims to reconstruct historical events through the Heuristic (Finding and collecting sources), Criticism (Testing of the content and physical sub-sources), Interpretation (Analyzing and synthesizing sources) and Historiography (interpretation and compilation of facts). so that it becomes a historical writing). The results of the research are; (1) The end of the th-19 century was of historical importance for the development of medical science and medical facilities in the Dutch East Indies, (2) Batavia became an important place for the early development of medical and medical schools, (3) Islamic teachings had a major influence on the views of the doctors, they admit that the teachings of Islam are useful to strengthen their arguments in campaigning for hygiene in colonies. Keywords: Islam, Health Politics, Batavia AbestrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana relasi politik kesehatan di Batavia dan kaitannya dengan doktrin Islam di Hindia Belanda pada akhir abad ke-19. Pendekatan historis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekontruksi peristiwa sejarah melalui metode Heuristik (Mencari dan mengumpulkan sumber), Kritik (Pengujian terhadap isi dan fisik suber-sumber), Interpretasi (Menganalisis dan mengsintesis sumber) dan Historiografi (penafsiran dan penyusunan fakta-fakta sehingga menjadi sebuah tulisan sejarah). Hasil dari penelitian adalah; (1) Akhir abad ke-19 adalah sejarah penting bagi perkembangan ilmu kedokteran dan pasilitas medis di Hindia Belanda, (2) Batavia menjadi tempat penting bagi perkembangan awal medis dan sekolah-sekolah kedokteran, (3) Ajaran Islam memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap pandangan para dokter, mereka mengakui bahwa ajaran Islam berguna untuk memperkuat argumen mereka dalam mengampanyekan higiene di tanah jajahan. Kata Kunci: Islam, Politik Kesehatan, Batavia

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze scientific articles on the theme of character education research in Islamic boarding schools. This research analysis uses VosViewer through a bibliometric approach; article references are obtained from the Google Scholar database with the publish or perish application. Character education in Islamic boarding schools is a reference in the search process. Found 996 articles that are considered relevant related topics. The research period used as a document indexed by Google Scholar is from 2019–2022. The results of the study focused on finding and analyzing topics and themes related to character education in Islamic boarding schools and other data analysis. Keywords about character education in Islamic boarding schools are associated with 4 clusters and 189 links, for a total link strength of 1754. The results of the analysis of the development of publications in the 2019–2022 period indicate that research on character education in Islamic boarding schools tends to be popular and has been carried out by many researchers. The highest number of publications in 2022 is 370, and the least is 155. Researchers analyzed published articles about character education in Islamic boarding schools and their relation to problem areas using VosViewer. This study can be a starting point for research related to further research regarding research on Islamic boarding schools and other research developments related to the world of Islamic boarding schools in general.

Abstract

Postnatal education has an important role in the life of every child, where it is a guarantee that children can develop optimally and not experience significant difficulties in their lives. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the concept of postnatal education and how it is viewed according to Islam. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach with documentation study as the data collection technique. The results of the study show that the concept of postnatal education is clearly contained in the Qur'an surah At-Tahrim [66]: 6. In the interpretations of Al-Misbah and Al-Maraghi it is explained that the verse indicates the moral responsibility of both parents to be responsible to their children and to their respective spouses, as each is responsible for what he does. This form of responsibility is through educational processes in the form of inculcating good values and obedience to Allah SWT. The family as the first place of education for children plays a role in the formation of character that is ready to face the future, while the school as a formal educational institution has a role as a reinforcement of basic education and becomes a unifier to develop relationships with society that are symbiotic mutualism to realize mutual benefits without causing harm to all components.Keywords: Education; postnata; Islam

Abstract

The process of introducing letters to early childhood must be done through activities or using concrete media. One of the concrete learning media that can be used by early childhood to recognize letters is using Sandpaper Letters media. This study aims to: 1) Determine the preparation of the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH) used to improve the cognitive abilities of early childhood in recognizing letters through Sandpaper Letters media; 2) Determine the implementation of efforts to improve the cognitive abilities of early childhood in recognizing letters through Sandpaper Letters media; 3) Determine the results of improving the cognitive abilities of early childhood in recognizing letters through Sandpaper Letters media or Raba Letters in Group B Kober Nuurul Qur'an, Indihiang District, Tasikmalaya City. This study is a Classroom Action Research model Kurt Lewin. The subjects in this study were Group B students totaling 10 students, consisting of 7 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that: First, cycle I, the preparation of RPPH was classified as moderate, with an average of 2.85, cycle II the preparation of RPPH was classified as very good, obtained an average of 3.70. Second, the implementation of learning in cycle I, obtained an average of 2.81 with moderate qualifications, cycle II, an average score of 3.33 with good qualifications. Third, the results of the study in cycle I were 50% of all students, 5 students were still in the Not Developing (BB) category, 3 students had Started to Develop (MB), and 2 students had Developed According to Expectations (BSH). While in cycle II, 80% of all students, 2 students were still in the Not Developing (BB) category, 4 students had Started to Develop (MB), 2 students had Developed According to Expectations (BSH), and 2 students had Developed Very Well (BSB).

Abstract

Family plays a strategic role in character formation, social resilience, and the development of human resources, particularly in rural communities. However, limited family life skills, such as conflict management, parenting practices, and adaptation to digital challenges, may weaken family resilience. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance understanding of the concept of maslahah family and to develop family life skills based on Islamic values through training and mentoring activities at Majlis Taklim Nurul Hilal, Sukabakti Village, Sodonghilir District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The program employed a participatory action approach using training and mentoring methods, involving families who are members of the majlis taklim as the primary participants. The activities were conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of maslahah family values, family communication skills, conflict management strategies, and awareness of adaptive parenting in the digital era. Furthermore, the program strengthened the role of the majlis taklim as a community-based center for family empowerment rooted in religious values and local wisdom. This initiative contributed positively to strengthening family resilience and improving the quality of social life in rural communities.
