Abstract

This study is set forth from the existence of pesantren as the oldest educational institution in Indonesia which plays a central role within the socio-cultural environment construction of Indonesian society. In order to exist, today, the pesantren should be able to develop its intitution yet still maintaining its originality as the characteritics of the pesantren itself. The development strategy could be initiated through self-sustaining efforts which in fact bring a positive impact for pesantren. On the other hand, financial problems often threatens the existence of pesantren. The purpose of this research is to investigate the condition of boarding school Ar-Risalah Cijantung IV and economic initiatives developed by the boarding school. This research is a case study by employing qualitative approach. Data collecting techiques are done by interviews, observation and document study. The study found that economic initiatives that is conducted by the pesantren are livestock breeding, fishery, mining, agriculture and waste processing. Those initiatives have a positive impact on pesantren because they serve as other funding sources to support pesantren development without fully depend on government support. Those businesses also brought a positive impact for the community in the surrounding pesantren. Keywords: Independence, Pesantren

Abstract

This research departs from the khithabah ta’tsiryah (religious preaching) activity presented by KH. Ujang Hidayat, a preacher who is also the leader of the Asy-Syifa Cicalengka-Bandung Islamic Boarding School. His lecture is unique and distinctive and different from the method commonly used by other preachers. The recitation of the verses of the Qur'an is used as the legal basis of the study or reference in a discussion, recited with special tones or lagham and differs according to the contents of the message contained in the verse of the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the understanding, meaning, and experience of KH. Ujang Hidayat used the recitation method of mujawwad in khithabah ta’tsiriyah in the Majlis Ta'lim As-Sabab. This study uses a qualitative approach to phenomenology study methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observation and document study. While the data collection instruments use field notes, cameras and conversation recording devices. While data analysis in the form of unitization of data, categorization, and interpretation of data and validity of data. The results of the study showed that the mujawwad recitation method used by KH. Ujang Hidayat in the khithabah ta’siriyah process in Majlis Taklim As-Sabab was understood as a method of lecture accompanied by rhythms and tones of recitation of the verses of the Qur'an which were adjusted to the contents of the message contained therein. The tilawah mujawwad method is interpreted as a process of delivering the contents of the Qur'an's message, the way of reading is based on the mujahad recitations with slower rhythms of reading and the rhythm of the muratal recitations by adhering to certain tones which are adjusted to qiraat. The use of the tawawah mujawad method can be used in khithabah ta’tsiriyah if the preacher has mastered the ulum al-Qur'an, the interpretation of the Qur'an and qiraa'at sab'ah.Penelitian ini bertolak dari kegiatan khithabah ta’tsiryah (ceramah keagamaan)  yang disampaikan oleh KH. Ujang Hidayat, seorang mubaligh yang menggunakan metode khusus dalam proses tablighnya, yaitu metode tilawah mujawwad. Metode ini dipandang unik dan berbeda dengan metode yang biasa digunakan oleh mubaligh lainnya, terutama dalam pembacaan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang digunakan sebagai dasar hukum kajian dalam sebuah pembahasan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pemahaman, pemaknaan, dan pengalaman KH. Ujang Hidayat dalam menggunakan metode tilawah mujawwad dalam khithabah ta’tsiriyah di Majlis Ta’lim As-Sabab. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi fenomenologi. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Sedangkan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan catatan lapangan, kamera dan alat perekam percakapan. Sementara analisis data berupa unitisasi data, kategorisasi dan penafsiran data serta uji abash data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode tilawah mujawwad yang digunakan oleh KH. Ujang Hidayat dalam proses khithabah ta’siriyah di Majlis Taklim As-Sabab dipahami sebagai metode ceramah yang disertai dengan irama dan nada pembacaan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang disesuaikan dengan isi pesan yang terkandung didalamnya. Metode tilawah mujawwad dimaknai sebagai sebuah proses penyampaian isi pesan al-Qur’an yang cara pembacaannya didasarkan pada tilawah mujawaad dengan irama yang lebih lambat dari bacaan dan irama tilawah muratal dengan tetap berpatokan pada nada tertentu yang disesuaikan qiraa’at sab’ah. Penggunaan metode tilawah mujawwad dapat digunakan dalam khithabah ta’tsiriyah apabila mubaligh-nya menguasai ulum al-Qur’an, tafsir al-Qur’an dan qiraa’at sab’ah.

Abstract

This research departs from the actualization of the kiai's leadership role in santri character education in Islamic boarding schools, which consists of the role of goal rationality, spirituality, and interpretation of the vision of education in Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to describe the role of the kiai in forming the character of santri in the Asy-Syifa Islamic boarding school. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. data collection with interviews, observation and documentation studies, also data analysis and valid data testing. the results of research on how kiai act as pathfinding, a lightning and empowering in the process of forming the character of santri, this is illustrated by how the kiai synergizes the great vision of kiai and Islmic boarding school, with typical learning and Islamic boarding school culture and relational patterns of kiai-santri, santri-kiai and santri-community as a comprehensive process of character education patterns in the Asy-Syifa Islamic boarding school

Abstract

This research aims to find out the career development that exists at UPI Laboratory School High School. Career development in Human Resource Management (MSDM) is very important in improving and increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of existing work in a school institution so that it can realize the goals that have been set following the school's vision and mission. In Human Resource Management at present time it is carried out by developing Information Technology (IT), which is an opportunity and a challenge in achieving goals that have competitiveness in creating jobs. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and document studies. Data analysis in the form of unitization of data, categorization, and interpretation of data as well as a data validation test. This career development can have a positive impact on the change process by carrying out a series of positions, jobs, and positions. Schools provide facilities in development to increase the knowledge and ability of an employee to be more effective. Strong Human Resources can give birth to schools with the adaptability and capacity to update the system. In this case, of course, it must aim to develop an environment that encourages employees to learn and develop better than before.

Abstract

This community service generally aims to improve the ability of teachers to write articles on the results of classroom action research which is expected to have a positive impact on position certification and promotion of teacher ranks/classes as well as increasing teacher professional competence. where the service implementers provide training and direct assistance to the trainees with a certain closeness and emotional bond, of course, by following the health protocols, including: wearing masks and/or face shields, washing hands before entering the room, checking temperature, maintaining a good distance between participants and others. participants and participants with resource persons. As for the results and discussion, this community service with the theme of Article Writing Training on Classroom Action Research Based on the 4cs Strategy in Increasing Teacher Professional Competence was carried out at SMPN 2 Padaherang, Padaherang sub-district, Padalarang Regency with a total of 115 participants. In addition, the work on the articles of the training participants in Writing Articles of Classroom Action Research Based on the 4cs Strategy in Improving Teacher Professional Competence will be published in the PAKAR GURU journal, a national-level journal that has a credit score of 2. So that this can help participants to be submitted in promotion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari peran kepemimpinan kiai di pondok pesantren  Ar-Risalah, dimana kiai sebagai pemilik otoritas tertinggi di pondok pesantren memerankan peran sentral kepemimpinannya. Pondok pesantren Ar-Risalah yang baru berdiri 15 tahun dan sudah memiliki lembaga pendidikan formal komprehensif dari SD hingga perguruan tinggi serta  bisnis dan usaha mandiri pondok pesantren dalam berbagai bidang sebagai proses pencapaian kemandirian pondok pesantren tidak akan terlepas dari peran kepemimpinan kiai sebagai figur sentral pesantren yang memiliki kharisma serta visi yang jauh kedepan yang melewati batas ketradisionalan kepemimpinan pondok pesantren. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : 1) Peran Kepemimpinan Kiai, 2) Proses Pengambilan Keputusan Kiai dan 3) Kepemimpinan Kiai dalam proses perubahan untuk meningkatan kualitas di pondok pesantren Ar-Risalah, Cijantung IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah catatan lapangan, kamera dan alat perekam percakapan. Analisis data berupa unitisasi data, kategorisasi dan penafsiran data serta uji keabasahan data. Adapun lokasi yang menjadi obyek penelitian ini adalah di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Risalah Cijantung IV, Ciamis, Jawa Barat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bagaimana KH. Asep Saefulmillah menjalankan peran kepemimpinannya baik peran interpersonal, informational serta decisional dengan sangat baik, serta optimalisasi aset pesantren untuk peningkatan kualitas pondok pesantren. Dalam proses pengambilan keputusan KH. Asep Saefulmillah menekankan pada proses mufakat/participation decision making sebagai bagian dari kepemimpinan demokratis beliau. Sikap terbuka, dan akomodatif kiai terhadap pentingnya perubahan dan perkembangan zaman, membuat beliau melakukan perubahan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pondok pesantren melaui perubahan bentuk pesantren menjadi yayasan wakaf, metode pembelajaran dan integrasi kurikulum pesantren-sekolah

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze scientific articles on the theme of character education research in Islamic boarding schools. This research analysis uses VosViewer through a bibliometric approach; article references are obtained from the Google Scholar database with the publish or perish application. Character education in Islamic boarding schools is a reference in the search process. Found 996 articles that are considered relevant related topics. The research period used as a document indexed by Google Scholar is from 2019–2022. The results of the study focused on finding and analyzing topics and themes related to character education in Islamic boarding schools and other data analysis. Keywords about character education in Islamic boarding schools are associated with 4 clusters and 189 links, for a total link strength of 1754. The results of the analysis of the development of publications in the 2019–2022 period indicate that research on character education in Islamic boarding schools tends to be popular and has been carried out by many researchers. The highest number of publications in 2022 is 370, and the least is 155. Researchers analyzed published articles about character education in Islamic boarding schools and their relation to problem areas using VosViewer. This study can be a starting point for research related to further research regarding research on Islamic boarding schools and other research developments related to the world of Islamic boarding schools in general.

Abstract

Kompetensi menulis bagi guru dan kepala sekolah menjadi tuntutan profesinya. Hal ini berkaitan dengan jenjang karir, bahwa guru wajib memenuhi syarat berupa penulisan artikel atau karya ilmiah. Syarat ini kerap  menjadi masalah kenaikan   jenjang   pangkat bagi guru  mengingat rendahnya kemampuan dan minat menulis. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan kepala sekolah guru di wilayah Kecamatan Mangunjaya, Kabupaten Pangandaran tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah hasil dari PTK dan PTS serta kaidah menulis  karya  ilmiah,  dan  menulis  artikel  secara  profesional dan sesuai dengan ketentuan. Metode kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dengan active tutor learning untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan berkaitan dengan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah. Hasil  dan  simpulan  kegiatan  pendampingan  ini  mencakup beberapa komponen, yaitu: (1) luaran kegiatan berupa artikel ilmiah yang terpublikasi; (2) pemahaman peserta terhadap menulis artikel; dan (3) minat peserta untuk menulis cukup baik.

Abstract

Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dianggap sebagai salah satu faktor dari keberhasilan sebuah organisasi karena memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan. Seperti halnya dalam lembaga pendidikan dimana sumber daya manusia lainnya perlu dikelola dengan baik agar melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan SDM dalam sudut pandang evaluasi kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan menganalisis dokumen. Penelitian ini berlangsung di SDN 062 Ciujung Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kinerja guru yang ada di SDN 062 Ciujung dikategorikan baik, karena Kepala Sekolah program pengembangan SDM di sekolah dan juga memiliki program evaluasi kinerja agar para guru dapat meningkatkan kinerja yang maksimal dalam memberikan pelayanan terhadap peserta didik.
