Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the promotion of the @badjoelama.co Instagram account on purchasing decisions on active followers. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. respondents in this study are active followers of @badjoelama.co. The source of the data used is from questionnaire data with active followers @badjoelama.co which is then processed using SPSS version 25. In this study, the significance correlations value is 0.000, so it can be said that there is a relationship between promotions and purchasing decisions, while the Pearson correlation value is 0.490. the level of promotion relationship with purchasing decisions is moderately correlated. The results of significant research taken from the ANOVA table, the significant value of the promotion variable (X) on the purchasing decision variable (Y) is 0.00 <0.05 and f-count 30.909 > f-table 3.09. This proves that Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect of promotion on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The movement to plant a thousand trees is an initiative aimed at addressing climate change and raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. In this movement, the community is encouraged to actively participate in planting trees in various areas that need increased greenery. Environmental communication based on community participation plays a crucial role in this movement. Through media communication about planting a thousand trees, this movement has great potential to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, improve air quality, and protect biodiversity. Each tree that is planted contributes to carbon absorption, reduces greenhouse effects, and creates a cooler and more comfortable environment. In addition to the environmental benefits, the movement to plant a thousand trees also has positive social impacts. The goal of community involvement is to provide education and increase awareness of community participation in environmental preservation. The planting process involves community participation, strengthens social ties, and builds collective awareness of environmental protection. Furthermore, the growing trees provide long-term benefits such as increased natural resources like wood, fruit, and soil retention. The movement to plant a thousand trees serves as a platform to encourage action and change attitudes towards nature. By increasing the number of trees in our surroundings, we can create a greener, balanced, and sustainable environment for future generations. This initiative emphasizes the importance of cooperation, awareness, and shared responsibility in preserving and caring for nature as a valuable heritage for our future. The community engagement activities took place in Kampung Sukamulya Rt 14/04 and in the Cibeureum block of Cibogo village, Subang District, Subang Regency for 14 days, from January 13th to January 27th, 2023. Keywords: empowerment communication; community participation; tree planting movement.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious issue occurring in various parts of the world and can have negative impacts both physically and psychologically on all parties involved. Especially within the school environment, this issue must not be overlooked, as students at that age are undergoing a crucial stage of development that will influence their future. Efforts to prevent bullying can be carried out through various school activities, one of which is the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) program. This study aims to describe field findings related to the role of P5 activities in addressing bullying behavior.The approach method used in this student service activity was a community outreach on bullying prevention, combined with a participatory approach in which participants were expected to be actively involved throughout the activity. The counseling activity was held at SMAN 1 Cipeundeuy, Subang. The socialization process involved the delivery of core material by the speaker using a PowerPoint presentation. Overall, the activity succeeded in increasing participants’ knowledge about bullying among adolescents and it can be concluded that this socialization effort enhanced understanding of the risks and impacts of bullying on both physical and mental health.
