Abstract

Pengujian sifat hipoglikemik ektrak protein kecipir pada tikus diabetik induksi alloksan dilakukan dengan menggunakanteknik ekstraksi terpilih. Digunakan tikus jantan Sprague Dawley dan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok (masing-masing 7ekor tikus), induksi diabetes menggunakan alloksan dengan dosis 80 mg/kg berat badan. Terdapat dua pakan yangdigunakan yaitu pakan basal yang mengacu pada AIN ‘93 dan diet ekstrak protein kecipir yang dilakukan selama 28 hari.Pembuatan pakan protein kecipir dilakukan dengan cara menggantikan sumber kasein yang terdapat pada standar denganeskrak protein kecipir. Pengamatan kadar gula darah tikus dilakukan setiap pekan selama penelitian. Pada penelitian iniditentukan teknik ekstraksi dengan cara 3 kali proses pelarutan dan 1 kali pengendapan. Proses tersebut memiliki kadarprotein dengan kadar air 3,98(%wb ), protein 58,16 (%db ) lemak 29,56 (%db ), abu 5,13 (%db ), pati 3,16 (%db ),dankarbohidrat bdf 3,99 (%db). Hasil uji ekstrak protein kecipir terhadap tikus diabet induksi alloksan menunjukkan bahwadiet kecipir mampu menurunkan gula darah sebesar 49% yaitu dari 211,93mg/dL setelah injeksi aloksan menjadi 107,88mg/dL pada akhir pengujian. Hasil uji menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat nyata jika dibandidingkan terhadap diet standaryang hanya menunjukkan penurunan gula darah sebesar 3,7% yaitu dari 213,08 mg/dL setelah injeksi alloksan menjadi205,14 mg/dL pada akhir pengujian.

Abstract

Water is an important thing to raise the people’s health level and clean water is alsoneeded for every living creature. That is why, it is important to know the quality of the wateritself. The purpose of this research is to test the quality of refill drinking water and to find outany filth can be found in that water based on Indonesia’s National Quality Standard (SNI). Themethod used in this research was saturated sample, where all the population of refill waterstation was treated as the samples. There were 21 samples in this research which was useddescriptive statistical analysis to display the result of this research. It is showed in the form oftable. Then, it was compared by the standard of SNI. The parameter of this research wascolifrom bactery. From the 21 samples were tested in the laboratory of National EnvironmentBoard in Pasir Pengaraian, there were only 6 samples which are fulfill the standard of SNI. Abstract

This research was aimed to study the effect of using the tempe flour to substitute the wheat flour on the characteristic of breads produced, as well as to know how much the tempe flour can be used to substitute wheat flour in order to breads that could still be accepted by panelist with the best characteristic. This research was design using Randomized Block Design with 6 level substitutions treatments, namely: 100% wheat flour : 0% tempe flour, 98% wheat flour : 2% tempe flour, 96% wheat flour : 4% tempe flour, 94% wheat flour: 6% tempe flour, 92% wheat flour : 8% tempe flour, 90% wheat flour : 10% tempe flour. There were three replications of each treatments, so that be 18 experiments unit. The data was analyzed with ANOVA and followed by Duncan’s Method if the treatments effected the parameter. The research showed that substitution treatment up to 96g wheat flour: 4g tempe flour has result breads with the best characteristic in which leavening bread loaves was 404,83%, water content was 36,62(%w/w), ash content was 0,72(%w/w), and protein content was 9,31(%w/w). According to sensory analyzed of the breads produced, the colour of breads were yellow-brown, flavor were neutral, like of taste, texture were moderately soft, sponge formation were moderately variant, and overall acceptance were like.

Abstract

Pengujian sifat hipoglikemik ektrak protein kecipir pada tikus diabetik induksi alloksan dilakukan dengan menggunakanteknik ekstraksi terpilih. Digunakan tikus jantan Sprague Dawley dan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok (masing-masing 7ekor tikus), induksi diabetes menggunakan alloksan dengan dosis 80 mg/kg berat badan. Terdapat dua pakan yangdigunakan yaitu pakan basal yang mengacu pada AIN ?óÔé¼?£93 dan diet ekstrak protein kecipir yang dilakukan selama 28 hari.Pembuatan pakan protein kecipir dilakukan dengan cara menggantikan sumber kasein yang terdapat pada standar denganeskrak protein kecipir. Pengamatan kadar gula darah tikus dilakukan setiap pekan selama penelitian. Pada penelitian iniditentukan teknik ekstraksi dengan cara 3 kali proses pelarutan dan 1 kali pengendapan. Proses tersebut memiliki kadarprotein dengan kadar air 3,98(%wb ), protein 58,16 (%db ) lemak 29,56 (%db ), abu 5,13 (%db ), pati 3,16 (%db ),dankarbohidrat bdf 3,99 (%db). Hasil uji ekstrak protein kecipir terhadap tikus diabet induksi alloksan menunjukkan bahwadiet kecipir mampu menurunkan gula darah sebesar 49% yaitu dari 211,93mg/dL setelah injeksi aloksan menjadi 107,88mg/dL pada akhir pengujian. Hasil uji menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat nyata jika dibandidingkan terhadap diet standaryang hanya menunjukkan penurunan gula darah sebesar 3,7% yaitu dari 213,08 mg/dL setelah injeksi alloksan menjadi205,14 mg/dL pada akhir pengujian.

Abstract

Nepenthes is a unique plant in Indonesia whose existence is endangered and almost extinct, so that conservation efforts are required both in situ and ex situ. Vegetative propagation by separating tiller is one method that can be done, using a porous planting medium resam form of roots, husk, cocopeat and moss. The purpose of this study is to obtain the best media for breeding puppies Nepenthes (Nepenthes Sumatrana (Miq) Beck). The experiment is based on a randomized block design (RAK) to use the media's treatment plant that consists of 5 level and 3 experimental groups, the level of treatment trials include: M1 = root resam, M2 = husk, M3 = cocopeat, M4 = moss, M5 = combination of charcoal husk, cocopeat, resam roots and moss with a volume ratio of 1: 1: 1: 1. The observations are the following variables: plant height increment, increment the number of leaves, the length of leaves, leaf width increase, in the number of pitcher, pitcher the length and the length of roots. The results showed the best medium that can increase the number of leaves and number of pockets of most plant Nepenthes Sumatrana (Miq) Beck is the root media resam by increments of 4.55 strands and 2.77 pitcher. While the best medium that can enhance the long pitcher of Nepenthes sumatrana (Miq) Beck is a media combination with increasing 2.02 cm.

Sweet corn Zea mays Saccharata Sturt is a food crop commodity that is in high demand because it contains carbohydrates The most important factor in increasing sweet corn production is improving soil nutrients by fertilizing The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of several types of organic matter on the growth and production of sweet corn This research was conducted at the Kassa House of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Pasir Pengaraian in Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Province from March to May 2022 This research was carried out using a Completely Randomized Design CRD method with 4 treatments P0 Without Addition of Organic Materials P1 75g solid plant P2 75g empty oil palm bunches tankos plant P3 75g rice husk plant The parameters in this observation were plant height number of leaves leaf width leaf length corn weight and level of sweetness sweetness but significant effect on corn weight parameters The P2 treatment 75 g of tankos plant tended to give the highest value on the parameters of the number of leaves leaf width and corn weight.

Abstract

RIZKI HANDAYANI, NIM 1827028. "The Effect of Giving Rice Husk Charcoal on the Growth and Production of Shallot Plants (Allium ascolanicum. L)". Supervised by Lufita Nur Alfiah, SP., M.Si and Rizah Rizwana Wahyuni, S.TP., M.Sc.Onion (Allium ascalonicum L) is a horticultural plant belonging to the vegetable and spice group as a food flavoring. Shallots are one of the leading vegetable commodities that have been intensively cultivated by farmers for a long time. Acidic soil is soil that has a low pH, generally acidic soil will reduce the level of land productivity for some plants. Soil conditions with low productivity levels require the addition of ameliorant. The ameliorant that can be used is rice husk charcoal. Rice husk charcoal can be used to improve the place where a plant grows and can function as a builder of soil fertility. This research was conducted to determine the effect of giving various doses of rice husk charcoal on the growth and production of shallot plants. This research was carried out at the Kassa House of the Faculty of Agriculture, Pasir Pengaraian University from May to August 2022. The design used in the study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments, namely R0 = 0 g/polybag, R1 = 20 g/polybag , R2 = 40 g/polybag, R3 = 60 g/polybag, and R4 = 80 g/polybag. The results showed that the results were not significantly different with the administration of several doses of rice husk charcoal on all observation parameters. Parameters of plant height and fresh weight of tubers tended to be higher by administering a dose of rice husk charcoal 80 g/polybag. While administration at a dose of 40 g/polybag tends to be higher for the number of tubers planted compared to other doses.

Abstract

This research on the effectiveness test of Melastoma malabathricum L. plants as antibacterial agents for Salmonella was conducted from September to October 2023. The purpose of this study was to prove that Senduduk leaf extract (Melastoma malabathricum L.) is effective as an antibacterial against Salmonella typhi. The disc diffusion method was used as an antibacterial fraction to be tested by being absorbed on disc paper, the descriptive method was used to see the antibacterial ability which was arranged based on variations in solutions with 5 treatments in duplicate. Treatment with variations in senduduk leaf extract solutions of 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% and sterile aquadest as a control. The results of the study showed that the Melastoma malabathricum L. plant originating from the land of the Faculty of Agriculture is a plant that has a content in accordance with the phytochemical content described by (Afrianti M, Dwiloka B, Setiani B E, 2013). In The Inhibition Test, The Variation Of The 80% Leaf extract solution produced an inhibition zone with the largest diameter of 18.25 mm, this indicates that the Melastoma malabathricum L. leaf extract has better inhibition compared to the 20%, 40% and 60% leaf extract concentrations.
