Abstract

This study aims to identify the co-creation behavior especially students who have experiences of casual dining restaurants. This study also analyses the relationship between co-creation behavior, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty. The research applied a quantitative method with survey design, and it was conducted for 6 months. It applied the purposive sampling method and the questionnaires were distributed to 1,970 respondents. The collected data were analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results indicate that two types of co-creation behavior of students who have experiences of casual dining restaurants in Bandung, namely customer participant behavior and customer citizenship behavior.Keywords: consumer behaviour; culinary; co-creation behaviour; satisfaction; loyalty

Abstract

Facing intense global competition and evolving regulatory challenges, the photovoltaic (PV) module market demands innovative strategies for competitive positioning, which this study addresses by applying systems thinking to uncover and analyze the complex interdependencies within the industry. Utilizing qualitative methods, the study engages key stakeholders through semi-structured interviews and employs Causal Loop Diagrams (CLDs) to ensure a rigorous and reliable analysis of the strategic and operational factors impacting PT. Indonesia Solar Global (ISG) within the PV module market. This study introduces a novel application of systems thinking to the photovoltaic module market, revealing how it can strategically enhance competitive positioning and operational efficiency, thus offering significant theoretical and practical contributions to the field of strategic management within renewable energy sectors. The findings reveal those strategic applications of systems thinking enable ISG to navigate complex market dynamics effectively, optimizing production efficiencies and enhancing competitive strategies against global competitors. This study not only addresses ISG's immediate challenges but also contributes to the broader discourse on strategic management within the renewable energy sector, showcasing the practical application of systems thinking in resolving industry-specific issues.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of oil and gas companies, particularly INDOPERTA, in mitigating global carbon emissions among rising energy demands and a shift toward coal and oil. This study highlights the urgency for strategic energy realignment and cleaner, sustainable sources, drawing from International Energy Agency (IEA) reports and various studies. The objective is to understand how companies such as INDOPERTA can integrate operations with effective carbon emission reduction strategies. A mixed-methods approach is employed, combining qualitative analysis of stakeholder perspectives with the AHP to prioritize initiatives based on identified criteria. Findings reveal compliance and regulation and leadership as critical areas needing focused resource allocation. The AHP analysis underscores the strategic importance of renewable energy investment and the pivotal role of leadership and innovation. It suggests a multifaceted approach involving regulatory adherence, international cooperation, and leadership development for effective carbon reduction. The study concludes that international oil and gas companies are at a crucial juncture. They must align their operations with global environmental goals and innovate to remain relevant in the climate agenda. It provides a roadmap for strategy realignment toward sustainability. However, this study has limitations, including its geographical focus, the dynamic nature of the industry, subjectivity in qualitative research and AHP, and reliance on secondary data. These findings highlight the need for ongoing research that adapts to industry changes and global carbon reduction efforts, ensuring that strategies remain relevant and effective.

Abstract

The strategic selection of a cement plant location is crucial for optimizing operational efficiency, sustainability, and market positioning. This study examines the optimal location for PT. RKB's new cement plant in West Java, Indonesia, uses the quantitative Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) within a Multi-Criteria Decision-Analysis (MCDA) framework. The SMART method transforms various criteria into measurable insights, ensuring a systematic evaluation of alternative sites. Key criteria included economic viability, technical feasibility, environmental impact, and socio-economic considerations. A comprehensive analysis of three potential sites revealed Location C as the most suitable, offering the best balance of economic benefits, technical advantages, manageable environmental impacts, and strong community support. Sensitivity analysis confirmed the robustness of this decision under various scenarios. This study provides a data-driven methodology for strategic site selection in the cement industry, contributing to PT. RKB's sustainable growth and competitive positioning. Theoretically, this research advances the application of MCDA in industrial site selection, while practically, it offers a replicable model for decision-makers in similar industries.
