Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak pesisir akan pentingnya sumber daya hayati laut agar ekosistem yang ada tetap terjaga dan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat pesisir Batu Beriga khsusunya kepada anak-anak tentang bagaimana menjaga dan melestarikan alam. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dengan alur reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verivication. Teknik analisis situasi dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data dari penilaian angket kepuasan peserta kegiatan Character Building Training (CBT) untuk Membangkitkan Kecintaan Lingkungan dan Daya Saing Anak Pesisir Desa Batu Beriga menunjukkan persentase kepuasan 96% puas terhadap kegiatan tersebut. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini juga membuat anak-anak pesisir memiliki rasa cinta, rasa nyaman, dan rasa peduli untuk melestarikan sumber daya hayati laut mereka yang sudah ada dan menjadi pondasi kesejahteraan ekonomi mereka demi meningkatkan daya saing dibidang pengetahuan dan pendidikan.

Abstract

One of the problems in Batu Beriga Village is the problem of education. From the educational statistics for the Batu Beriga village community, the highest number of graduates of 517 was elementary school graduates, then 342 junior high school graduates and 280 high school graduates. And also data on dropouts in Batu Beriga village were 10 elementary school dropouts, 15 junior high school dropouts, and 15 people dropped out of high school. The twelve-year compulsory education program with the policies and programs of the Student Operational Assistance (BOS) and the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) set by the government. Therefore, knowledge about the importance of education and PKBM will be given to out-of-school children in Batu Beriga village with an Inspirational Talk Show on Strengthening Educational Motivation for Dropout Children to collect data on children's interest in participating in PKBM, and registering children to take part in PKBM. The method used is the counseling method with the preparation and licensing stages, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Overall, this community service activity went very well and was conducive. All participants who attended calmly followed the whole activity. Until the completion of the presentation of the material by the speaker, all participants listened carefully. There were 7 school dropouts who enrolled in PKBM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure for developing research and to determine the quality of the feasibility of interactive powerpoint-based learning media in science subjects for the Parts and Functions of Local Plants Typical of Bangka Belitung. This research is a development research (R&D) which refers to the ADDIE development model which includes five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, documentation and questionnaire sheets. Data analysis techniques used in assessing product feasibility by experts, teachers, and students in this development research used a Likert scale. Based on the research results, it is known that the validation results of material experts show an average percentage of 87.5% with valid information (very suitable for use), media experts get an average percentage of 88.75% with valid information (very suitable for use), linguists get the average percentage is 80% with valid information (very feasible to use). The assessment of product feasibility by the teacher gets an average percentage of 96% with valid information (very suitable for use), and students get an average percentage of 80% with valid information (very suitable for use). The overall average score is 88.07%, indicating that the interactive powerpoint-based learning media developed by the researcher is suitable to be used as a learning tool or media for teachers and students.
