Abstract

ABSTRACT Maria Christantya: The Relationship between Smartphone Use and Social Emotional Development in Early Childhood. Thesis. Surabaya: Early Childhood Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Narotama University, 2023. This study aims to examine the relationship of smartphone use to children's social emotional development and to review journals related to the relationship of smartphone use to early childhood social development. The design of this study uses a design based on the characteristics of the main research problem, namely the associative strategy. Associative research is research that aims to determine the effect of two or more variables where these results are obtained by analyzing the relationship between smartphone use and social emotional development in early childhood in Surabaya. The cross-sectional research design is a measurement or observation of the independent variables and the dependent variable only once at a time. The results of this study show that the results of the correlation test show that the correlation coefficient is 1.632 and a significant value is 0.006 (p <0.05). These results indicate that the hypothesis is accepted or there is a relationship between smartphone use and early childhood social emotional development. The Effect of Using a Smartphone on Social Emotional Development is 26%. Meanwhile, 74% of Children's Social Emotional Development is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat penguasaan materi anak terhadap pembelajaran karena pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode konvensional dan media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing bermedia kartu bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak kelompok B. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental design menggunakan one group pre-test post-test design, dengan populasi yang diambil adalah anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 17 anak di TK Putra Harapan. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan nonprobability sampling yang berupa sampling purposive. Penelitian menggunakan teknis pengumpulan data observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan tabel penolong Wilcoxom Match Pairs Test.

Abstract

This study aims to increase children's creativity through finger painting activities using tote bag media at Maha PAUD Surabaya. Finger painting activities aim to explore and develop imagination and expression through moving the fingers through painting/drawing, color recognition and cultivating a sense of beauty, furthermore through training body muscle movements. This study used Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is based on the Kemmis and Mc Taggart theoretical models. The subjects of this study consisted of 22 students of class B at Maha Paud, Surabaya. The data collection techniques that used in this study was observation and documentation. Researcher used a quantitative approach method to analyze the data. The criterion for the success of this research is if the creative ability is in the BSB criteria (Very Well Developed), or with a value range of 76 – 100%. The result showed that children's creativity increased after the action was carried out through finger painting activities, which provided opportunities for them to make their own project with their own willingness. This enhancement can be seen from the data on the average percentage value in Pre-action indicated that the percentage of children's creativity is 28,79 %. In Cycle I, the percentage of children's creativity increased to 42,42 %. And in Cycle II the percentage of children's creativity increased to 81,81 %. It can be said that this research was successful because the percentage has reached the specified number.

Abstract

The United States of America (USA) dominates in almost every aspect globally, including the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA). Most of the MMA sports promotion companies that dominate the global market are from the US. One of the largest and most popular is the UFC. As a global company, UFC is the most dominant MMA sports competition promoter in the world today due to its global economies of scale. Since its inception in the US, the UFC has developed into competitions held in several countries, such as Canada, the UK, Russia, Brazil, Uruguay, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Singapore. This research aims to find out the UFC’s business strategy as a global company in globalizing its commodities to dominate the mixed martial arts (MMA) sports industry on a global scale. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method accompanied by a 4P Marketing Mix perspective as an analytical tool in examining the strategies implemented by the UFC. This research concludes that the UFC’s global marketing strategy is to implement various marketing elements from upstream to downstream optimally so as to be able to dominate the market share of the global MMA sports industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 4 tahun dengan metode bercakap-cakap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan dokumentasi. Observasi yang dilakukan untuk mengamati tingkat konsentrasi belajar anak dengan penerapan metode bercakap-cakap yang dilakukan baik menggunakan media kartu bergambar maupun menggunakan media gambar lainnya. Hasil penelitian observasi yang dilakukan adalah pada kegiatan pra – siklus nilai persentase yang didapat adalah 50 % (kategori cukup), dalam penerapan metode bercerita pada siklus I menggunakan media buku bergambar hasil persentase observasi mengalami peningkatan sebesar 64% (kategori cukup baik), penelitian dilanjutkan pada siiklus II diikarenakan hasil persentase observasi belum mencapai target yakni 75 %, pada siklus II dilakukan penerapan metode bercakap-cakap menggunakan media kartu bergambar, dalam tindakan siklus II ini angka persentase mengalami kenaikan yang cukup signifikan yakni sebesar 75% (kategori sangat baik). Dari hasil siklus II penelitian ini dinyatakan telah berhasil karena angka prosentase telah mencapai 75 %. Kata Kunci : Perkembangan Bahasa, Metode Bercakap-cakap, Media

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya guru dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak melalui metode pemberian tugas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan 2 orang guru di kelas B, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen analisis, data di analisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan cara reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. upaya guru dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak melalui metode pemberian tugas pada anak usia 5-6 tahun kelompok B di TK Keputih Ceria Surabaya telah terencana dan terlaksana dengan baik.

Abstract

In a global era marked by the rapid development of technology and information, 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, analytical, creative, communication, and collaboration are very important for students. This article discusses the role of the science mini lab strategy combined with the inquiry-based learning (IBL) approach as an innovative learning strategy in developing these skills. Through hands-on methods, inquiry-based learning, and independent exploration, science mini labs encourage students to actively ask questions, investigate, design experiments, and draw conclusions based on evidence. This approach has been shown to increase active participation, high-level thinking skills, and strengthen teamwork and effective communication. Through a literature review, this article describes various forms of mini lab implementation, from portable kits to virtual laboratories, as well as case studies of their use in schools. The results of various studies show that the integration of IBL in mini labs can enrich the learning experience, improve learning outcomes, and prepare students to face real-world challenges. Thus, the implementation of inquiry-based science mini labs is a strategic step in presenting contextual and empowering education.

Abstract

Studi tingkat kepuasan layanan pendidikan TKS. Gema Ceria bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pengguna layanan TKS. Gema Ceria yang dalam hal ini diwakili oleh orang tua / wali peserta didik yang hasilnya dapat memetakan sektor layanan yang telah dinilai prima dan sektor layanan yang perlu diperbaiki. Penelitian ini akan melibatkan orang tua / wali peserta didik di taman kanak-kanak di Kecamatan Meral Kabupaten Karimun sebagai batasan ruang lingkup. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Analisis survei kepuasan pelanggan dengan metode Important-Performance Analysis (IPA) yang memetakan kepentingan dan performa dalam sebuah pemetaan empat kuadran untuk memetakan prestasi utama layanan, prioritas utama perbaikan, sektor dengan prioritas rendah, dan kinerja yang berlebihan dengan tingkat kepentingan rendah. Menurut orang tua / wali murid TKS. Gema Ceria tingkat kepuasan layanan pendidikan TKS. Gema Ceria adalah sebesar 78,13 atau masuk dalam kategori PUAS oleh orang tua / wali murid TKS. Gema Ceria Tahun Ajaran 2022-2023. Berdasarkan hasil Analisis didapatkan bahwa menurut orang tua / wali murid TK. Gema Ceria, atribut yang perlu ditingkatkan dan menjadi prioritas utama (Kuadran 1) adalah X1 (Fasilitas Pendidikan) dan X9 (Konsistensi Layanan). Atribut yang menjadi prestasi TK. Gema Ceria (Kuadran 2) adalah X5 (Kurikulum Pendidikan), X6 (Kinerja Guru), X7 (Kemudahan Komunikasi), dan X11 (Keamanan Lingkungan).
