Abstract

In the current era of IT advancement, innovation in the field of learning needs to be done. Besides improving the quality of learning, the use of IT in education can increase student interest in the subjects. This research is the analysis stage of developing Geography e-learning for Senior High School in Sragen Regency using ADDIE model. Data collection was done by interview using questionnaires toward 20 teachers and 416 students in 11 public and private Senior High Schools in Sragen Regency.The results of the analysis of geography teachers respons indicate that most of the geography teachers in Sragen regency were well-informed and had utilized IT in classroom learning, adding learning resources from the internet and other sources, willing to teach using e-learning, expecting e-learning material equipped with maps, imagery, video and animation which was developed. From the analysis of the students respons, students argued that most of the geography teachers in Sragen Regency had utilized the learning resources and learning media from the internet and use varied learning models. Nevertheless, there are 36% who think that geography lesson was boring and most students agreed to use e-learning for geography lesson. The main obstacle in e-learning lesson in Sragen regency was the availability of computer facilities and internet network, especially in private schools.Keywords: e-learning, readiness, geography, Senior High School

Abstract

Buku Limau village is located at Belitung Timur district. This village is one out of 18 remoted villages which located in one region of Bangka Belitung Province. Buku Limau village is also one out of three villages which are populated by the people. One of the greatest potential of this village is tourism, which have a very lovey beaches all along the coast line. However, it seems that they do not have an adequate number of human resources. The purpose of this students community service programme is to increase the awereness of Buku Limau people in several important aspects, namely: education, tourism, well-being based on local wisdom. In order to increase those several aspects, the students will held several comunnity job, namely: first aid training, training and education for tourism human resources. These several community service will helped the people of Buku Limau to increase their wealth and boost the tourism programme.

Abstract

Any waste whether it is organic or inorganic waste causes a serious issue that is faced by the Magetan regent. The lack of waste management systems such as uncontrolled garbage accumulation, burning and dumping into rivers and vacant land could lead to pollution. The Solution to solve this issue is the waste bank called Sapu Jagad in Magetan regent which was established in 2015. Sapu Jagad waste bank is also educating and training the people to recycle the waste into a product with an economic value. The product from the waste bank is sold by an online market. However, the production time is sometimes too long since the raw material is not always adequately available. This situation is caused by irregular collection from the community. The result of this activity is the registering process by the waste bank, waste bank fund, and operational bookkeeping using a simple application. Record sales of waste products into crafts and better chairs and tables. The process of storing plastic packaging for drinking water and plastic packaging waste can already be cut into small pieces using a plastic cutting machine which is also invested in a waste bank. Plastic waste storage becomes very space efficient.
