Abstract

Al-Huda Medical Center is special unit of Al-Huda hospital which manages check-up service for Prospective Indonesian Migrant Worker (CTKI). Al-Huda Medical Center wants to improve the service process and medical record of CTKI using computer system. There are five main problems found in the field regarding this matter, they include (1) all data reports consisting of registration to medical record database is still in paper-based documents, (2) the registration number is processed manually, (3) there is no barcode in health certificate, (4) specimen is labelled using handwriting (5) registration report, medical record, form, and film paper is done manually in terms of calculation and writing. The solution offered for the aforementioned problems is developing a web-based application which is able to manage service process, medical record, and report. Furthermore, this application provides health certificate which fulfills the standardization of the destination country of CTKI. This application also offers the more accurate reports compared to paper-based documentation.

Abstract

National Hospital is a modern private hospital of international standard established in 2010 in Surabaya. National Hospital wants to integrate existing modality cardiology section with its PACS. There are three main problems in the integration process, namely: (1) PACS that there can not display the data waveform (DICOM 3.0 supplement 30), (2) there is a modality resting ECG is not standard DICOM 3.0 so it can not communicate directly with PACS, and (3) resting ECG output data in XML format instead of 3.0 DICOM supplement 30. The solution to this problem is the application of ECG viewer that is integrated with PACS. ECG viewer application can handle communication from the modality DICOM 3.0 standard, namely ultrasound and treadmills, as well as from the resting ECG modality that is not standard DICOM 3.0. Further, the application of ECG viewer can convert XML data output from the resting ECG modality into DICOM 3.0 standard supplements 30 and make PACS can display a graphic waveform of the standard DICOM 3.0 file supmen 30.

Abstract

Abstract: The existence of RIS is necessary for Imaging System or commonly called Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). RIS give feedback information to PACS about patient information and inspection, as well as to be able to track the entire life cycle assessment of the patient, from the initial booking to the end result. PACS and RIS have different tasks and complete each other, whereby RIS handles the functions of text-based computing, including transcription, reporting, ordering, scheduling, tracking, and billing (Huang, 2004).There is RIS workflow processes that can support the performance of the Unit of Radiology. In the Radiology Unit there are several problems, such as: (1) the need for integration between RIS and PACS, which radiographers do not need to input the data on patients who will perform imaging and (2) The need of role screening to ensure that the patient is in the waiting list has come and is ready to conduct the examination. Radiology Information System can be integrated with PACS and DICOM modality that uses a standard 3.0. This is supported by several considerations, such as: (1) an intermediary HL7 can be integrated with the Hospital Information System (HIS), (2) MWL module can be integrated with MPPs Service modality, (3) intermediate HL7 can be integrated with PACS, and (4) Radiology Information system can be implemented and support the performance of the Unit of Radiology. The existence of RIS is necessary for Imaging System or commonly called Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Abstract

Traditionally radiology produces a visual representation of medical images in film format for further clinical analysis. While some healthcare providers still used films to display scan results, others are embracing the advancing technology of digital medical images. In radiology, this medical imaging technique is generally equated to filmless radiology. However, modern technology has enabled other clinical areas beyond radiology to use digital imaging, including cardiology, pathology, obstetric and gynecology, orthopedic and dentistry. This widely implementation of filmless system in hospital is known as filmless hospital. This paper discusses filmless hospital using picture archiving and communication system (PACS) as workflow controller as a case study at National Hospital Surabaya.

Abstract

Abstract: PT. Indonesia Japan Medical Instrumentation (PT. JIMI) in collaboration with several health centers in Indonesia, such as by a clinic in Tulungagung and Klinik Catur Warga (KCW) in Mataram. Cooperation of both sides of the related procurement of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). PT. JIMI as an investor MRI and KCW as a user and the owner of the asset. Joint Operation between PT. JIMI and KCW requires KCW applied to report the amount of MRI usage and the income derived from the operation of the MRI. KCW reported it every month. PT. JIMI as investors need to anticipate the possibility of fraud in reporting is done KCW.  Cheating in question is related to the amount of data manipulation tool use MRI and income derived from the operation of the tool. In case of manipulation of the data in the report will have an impact on the results received nominal PT. JIMI. So that would inhibit PT. JIMI as soon as possible to restore the initial capital they have invested. Of the possibility of reporting fraud committed KCW, PT. JIMI need for monitoring directly related to the operation of the MRI theirs. Based on the description above problems, then made a telereporting clinical applications integrated with PACS and Medview® Medview® existing Cloud. Telereporting clinical application consists of two parts, namely the Report Server and Report Client. Report Client side access patient data stored MRI examination results in Medview® Cloud. Report Server to access the database side Medview® PACS based on log data and patient examination data.

Abstract

The criteria number of decision maker sometimes become a problem. We can solve that problem using set of alternatives based on the criteria. Problems like this are often known by the term Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM). In this research will be appointed a case that is Determination of Winners of Library Competition At Badan Perpustakaan & Kearsipan Province East Java. The search for weighted values is done through an objective approach. This study is done by finding the value for each criterion, then done ranking to determine the optimal alternative.
