Abstract

Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) is a wireless communication technology that supports the development of the Internet of Things (IoT). LPWAN offers a wider coverage area and low energy consumption. LoRa is one of the most popular LPWAN technologies. LoRa technology is suitable for IoT application scenarios that only need to send small amounts of data over long distances and low-power transmission data. This research focuses on testing the range of the LoRa Rfm 95/96 chip at 920 MHz and SF7 frequencies for urban areas. The parameters used are Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and Packet loss. RSSI test results will be compared with RSSI calculation results using the log normal shadowing model. The RSSI value of the test results is closer to the calculation of the RSSI value for the free space area with the addition of a shadowing effect. When viewed from the range of RSSI values ​​at each test point, RSSI is relatively stable. However, based on RSSI average testing and calculation, RSSI has decreased while packet loss has increased with each additional distance. From this study, the maximum LoRa range is 2 km. This is in line with LoRa specifications for urban areas.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerancangan sistem keamanan web dalam tulisan ini bertujuan melengkapi Website Jurnal Teliska Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya dengan suatu sistem keamanan yang akan membatasi hak akses terhadap full-tex-paper pada Jurnal tersebut. Pokok permasalahan dibatasi pada keamanan web sisi aplikasi yang meliputi bagaimana desain sistem keamanan yang diterapkan, bagaimana pengaturan hak akses terhadap setiap fulltex-paper, bagaimana menjamin agar ketika seorang user diberi password untuk mengakses sebuah full-tex-paper, password tersebuttidak dapat digunakan untuk mengakses full-tex-paper lainnya, serta seberapa handal sistem keamanan yang dibangun. Metode pembahasan yang digunakan adalah studi ilteratur dan observasi langsung dengan mendesain, mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem keamanan serta mengamati kehandalan sistem keamanan yang diterapkan pada jurnal online. Hasil desain keamanan setelah diuji coba menunjukkan bahwa sistemnya bekerja dengan baik, yang dapat diuji langsung pada laman http://jurnal_teliska.polsri.ac.id, sedangkan hasil uji kehandalanmasih berlangsung terus, dimana sampai dengan tulisan ini dibuat tingkat kehandalannya masih 100% aman. Dengan demikian untuk sementara dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil rancangan sistem keamanan pada website Jurnal Teliska Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya yang telah diterapkan memberikan jaminan keamanan terhadap fulltex-paper para penulis dari kemungkinan pengunduhan yang tidak berizin.Kata Kunci: keamanan web, kode-masuk, jurnal online, teks-lengkap.

Abstract

Perpustakaan memegang peran vital dalam memberikan akses informasi dan pengetahuan dalam masyarakat. Namun, tantangan muncul dalam pengelolaan koleksi karena metode manual yang kurang efisien. Solusinya adalah aplikasi web berbasis RFID untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Aplikasi ini memudahkan pengelolaan perpustakaan dengan integrasi pembaca RFID untuk buku dan anggota. Data seperti buku, anggota, pengunjung, dan transaksi peminjaman diatur secara efisien melalui platform situs web. Pengembangannya melibatkan HTML, CSS, JavaScript, dan Bootstrap untuk tampilan menarik, serta PHP untuk interaksi pengguna dan database. Teknologi RFID diimplementasikan dengan perangkat Arduino yang membaca kartu pada buku dan anggota, data diproses oleh aplikasi untuk update inventaris dan profil anggota. Pendekatan ini merampingkan manajemen perpustakaan, mengurangi pekerjaan manual, dan memungkinkan fokus lebih pada layanan pengguna. RFID mengurangi risiko kehilangan dan memantau peminjaman dengan akurat. Aplikasi ini berperan penting dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan di era digital.

Abstract

The report from the State Cyber and Cryptography Agency (BSSN) recorded approximately 100 million cases of cyber attacks in Indonesia until April 2022, with ransomware and malware being the most commonly detected types of attacks. In this context, the increasingly sophisticated and hard-to-detect Android malware poses a serious threat, especially with successful penetrations into the Google Play Store. Therefore, early detection of Android malware is crucial. This research aims to compare the performance of two machine learning algorithms, Neural Network and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), in detecting malware on the Android platform. The dataset has been processed and divided into training and testing data. Both algorithms are trained using the training data, and their results are validated and evaluated. The research findings show that Neural Network achieves the best performance with an accuracy of 97%, precision of 97%, recall of 97%, and F1-score of 97%. Meanwhile, KNN performs slightly lower with an accuracy of 95%, precision of 96%, recall of 95%, and F1-score of 95%. In conclusion, Neural Network outperforms KNN in detecting Android malware based on accuracy and classification consistency. Further research suggestions involve the use of other algorithms, broader and more representative datasets, as well as the addition of features and parameter optimization. This research contributes to the development of accurate and effective solutions for detecting and identifying potentially harmful Android applications

Abstract

Salah satu ilmu pengetahuan yang di butuhkan manusia adalah teknologi. Laju kemajuan teknologi semakin cepat, baik teknologi yang berbasis perangkat elektronik maupun komputer, termasuk Internet of Things (IoT). Internet of Things (IoT) adalah konsep yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan manfaat dari koneksi internet yang terhubung terus menerus. Pada laporan akhir ini, dibuat suatu alat yang akan berhubungan dengan Internet of Things (IoT), yaitu Timbangan Digital yang dapat mengeluarkan suara berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Timbangan merupakan alat yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengukur berat dari suatu benda atau lainnya. Timbangan telah terbagi menjadi 2 jenis yaitu timbangan digital dan mekanik. Timbangan banyak digunakan di industri dan komersial, mulai dari produk yang ringan hingga berat yang dijual sesuai permintaan. Pada alat yang dibuat ini akan menggunakan timbangan digital sebagai hasil rancang bangun untuk laporan akhir, dengan merancang timbangan digital yang dapat mengeluarkan suara sesuai dengan berat yang ditimbang dan dilanjutkan dengan harga dari berat tersebut. Dengan itu maka diperlukannya komponen yang mendukung agar rancang bangun timbangan digital ini dapat berhasil diwujudkan sesuai dengan harapan, komponen yang digunakan antara lain adalah Sensor Loadcell, Modul HX711, LCD, NodeMCU ESP 8266, android dan DF Mini Player.

Abstract

Cultivating bean sprouts requires regular care for the beans. The required care includes regular watering and maintaining temperature conditions between 23°C to 28°C with a humidity level of 85% to 90%. In this research, an intelligent sprout cultivation system based on LoRa and IoT has been proposed. This system uses a DHT22 sensor to read the temperature and humidity of the air around the bean sprouts. It sends the data to the gateway using LoRa. The gateway forwards the temperature and humidity data to the Thingspeak server using the MQTT protocol. LoRa allows temperature and humidity monitoring to be carried out via the LoRa local network without an internet connection. The proposed system can also water the bean sprouts automatically if the humidity is < 80% or the last watering time has been ≥ 3 hours. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the proposed system can work well. During the tests, the DHT22 sensor could respond to changes in temperature and humidity. Sending sensor data to the Thingspeak server could work well. Meanwhile, sensor nodes and gateways could communicate up to a distance of 600 meters using LoRa.

Abstract

In the current technological era, the Internet of Things (IoT) provides creative fixes for numerous health problems. The purpose of this research is to design and construct a urine color analysis system that uses the Internet of Things to identify human dehydration. Urine color is precisely measured and analyzed by the system using color and pH sensors. Data is then sent over an internet connection to a cloud-based platform.The urine color analysis results will be compared to accepted medical standards as part of the processing of the gathered data to ascertain the user's bodily hydration level. This system has a Blynk app-based user interface that offers proper hydration recommendations and real-time information about the user's level of hydration. It is anticipated that by putting this system in place, users will be able to efficiently check their level of hydration and take precautions to avoid being dehydrated. This research offers a more approachable and cost-effective method of managing one's own health in addition to aiding in the development of Internet of Things-based health technology.

Abstract

The cultivation of various freshwater fish species, such as catfish, tilapia, carp, and sepat, can be effectively managed through the budikdamber technique, where fish and vegetables are grown together in a single container. This research introduces an alternative method designed to control water temperature, automate fish feeding, and cover the container automatically when it rains. By integrating monitoring and control devices, budikdamber owners can manage automated feeding, monitor water temperature, measure pH levels, control water depth, and automatically activate rain covers. This smart device is expected to enhance budikdamber management efficiency, contributing to the improved welfare of the fish and overall system sustainability.

Abstract

This study developed an advanced Internet of Things (IoT)-based fertigation system aimed at optimizing growth and resource efficiency in contemporary agriculture. The system is meticulously designed by integrating various sensors that facilitate real-time monitoring of critical agronomic parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, nutrient concentrations, and tank solution levels. These sensors acquire essential data, which is processed using fuzzy logic to effectively manage irrigation control. Additionally, the system incorporates a mobile application, enabling remote monitoring and control, thus providing agricultural practitioners the convenience of managing their fields from any location. results from the study demonstrate a notable 30% increase in water use efficiency and a significant 25% improvement in crop yield compared to conventional manual irrigation techniques. This innovative fertigation system presents a comprehensive and effective solution for modern agriculture, supporting enhanced decision-making for crop management, reducing resource wastage, and augmenting overall agricultural productivity, thereby contributing to sustainable farming practices.
