Abstract

This study aims to build a knowledge-based psychology system for the diagnosis of gross motor development disorders in early childhood so that it can help educators in this case, PAUD teachers and parents/guardians in knowing information about gross motor development disorders in children. This study uses the development method of the UCD (User-Centered Design) system. The inference engine used is forward chaining that performs the search for progress in extracting information in this case, the symptoms that arise in children who are unusual with other children. The final results obtained from this study are an expert system for the diagnosis of gross motor development disorders in early childhood where the user chooses symptom data contained in the choice. Users will get the results of consultations in the form of conclusions about the diagnosis of the disorder and the implementation of the therapy.

Abstract

Malaria is a disease caused by the plasmodium parasite transmitted through the bite of an infected female anopheles mosquito. This disease often occurs in tropical and subtropical areas, including Indonesia. Symptoms of malaria generally appear between 10-15 days after the bite of an infected mosquito and include high fever, chills, sweating, headache, nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, and fatigue. The first identification is carried out when the patient comes to a health facility and perhaps the disease is already in a severe phase. A system that can identify malaria quickly and precisely is needed for emergencies so that patients receive early treatment, and this is one of the preventive measures to reduce casualties due to malaria. The right system built to overcome this is expert. The certainty factor (CF) method was chosen for the malaria diagnosis expert system because it handles uncertainty in decision-making. CF is a numerical value used to represent confidence or confidence in a hypothesis or conclusion based on existing evidence. The result of this research is that the level of accuracy of expert system diagnosis using the certainty factor method is 98,35% when compared with expert diagnosis. This means that the certainty factor method has been proven to be able to diagnose malaria accurately according to the symptoms experienced by the patient.

Abstract

The OSIS chairman is the highest leader in the OSIS management structure and is accompanied by a vice-chairman. Therefore, a selection with several criteria is needed to determine the best candidate. Things that are considered in this selection are realism, maturity, organizational experience, public speaking, discipline, character, organizational activity, and responsibility. By utilizing a decision support system, the best candidates are obtained for the candidate for chairman and vice-chairman of the student council. This system is made with the method used to assist the selection process, namely, profile matching. Profile matching is used to find the profile of a job that is sought from a predetermined specification. This method provides a solution and has a clear objective in decision-making. On the other hand, the method used to develop a decision support system is the incremental method. The selection of the incremental method is based on the fact that this method has an iterative nature, which can adapt to the many repetitions that occur during the development process. The novelty of this research is the recommendations generated from the developed decision support system. There are notifications about the results of decisions to users, in this case, the candidates for the OSIS chairman and vice chairman who are alternatives in the election process. This study resulted in recommendations in the form of candidates for OSIS chairman and vice chairman by the candidate's profile.

Abstract

Assets are resources owned by an entity. Cilacap State Polytechnic is a higher education institution that has many assets. Current asset maintenance and repair services are still carried out conventionally. Each work unit must fill out a maintenance and repair proposal form and then submit it to the Maintenance, Repair, and Maintenance Unit (UP3). The proposal will be recorded and scheduled to be followed up by the Technician. The problem that occurs is that the proposal form is often scattered and even lost so the response time is often slow. In addition, maintenance and repair schedules are often not ordered according to the time of the request. This has an impact on the abandonment of work in certain work units. The purpose of this research is to create an information system for the repair and maintenance of campus assets. In order for maintenance and repair services to be carried out according to the time of the request, the FCFS method is applied. Thus, the service process for maintaining and repairing campus assets becomes more organized, schedules (queues) are sequenced, and the response time for incident handling is faster.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a disease of pregnant women, causing many complaints, including dizziness. Massage is the right solution to reduce dizziness since the use of analgesic drugs is not recommended. Submission of massage information can be more effective through digital technology. The purpose of this research is to build an application based on Augmented Reality (AR) as a guide for facial massage movements for midwives and pregnant women to deal with complaints of dizziness for pregnant women. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of the stages of making a concept, making a design, collecting materials, combining materials, testing, and distribution. Black box testing on 10 scenarios produces a value of 100%, which means the application can run properly. In addition, usability testing using the System Usabilities Scale (SUS) method shows a value of 69.5, which means that the application has the "good" criteria and is acceptable to users.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infection caused by acid-fast bacilli (AFB) and is an infectious disease that can attack anyone through the air. This disease is hazardous and chronic, with a high prevalence among individuals aged 15-35 years. The diagnosis of tuberculosis traditionally takes a long time because it involves an interview process by medical experts and testing sputum samples in the laboratory to determine whether the patient is positive or negative for this disease. This process is not only time-consuming but also requires significant resources. To overcome this problem and speed up the diagnosis process, a technology-based approach is needed, namely the Expert System with the certainty factor method. This method can handle uncertainty in medical diagnosis by providing a certainty value for each observed symptom. This article discusses in depth the application of the certainty factor method in an expert system to diagnose Tuberculosis. By using this method, the system can provide faster and more accurate diagnosis results in diagnosing tuberculosis with a confidence level of 94.6% and reduce the workload of medical personnel. The application of the certainty factor method allows the integration of various symptoms and relevant medical data to produce more precise and reliable diagnostic conclusions.
