Abstract

The clinker production process involves much equipment and material flow; thus, an operating system is needed to regulate and manage the production process. XYZ company uses an operating system for clinker production called Cement Management Quality (CMQ). The CMQ operation on clinker production is considered semi-automatic because it requires many interventions from the operator. Furthermore, the program is limited under specific condition. As a result, the quality of the clinker is decreased, and the energy consumption is increased. The failure of clinker production is related to the CMQ system, and it is vital to solving the problem appropriately. Since the CMQ system is connected with many aspects, it is essential to find the root cause. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method is suitable to find the root of the problem for a complex system. After researching using RCA, the main problems on the CMQ system is the data not appropriately integrated, and the process algorithm is insufficient. The new integration of data transfer and new algorithms are developed as an attempt to solve the issues. The new data integration model and algorithm are applied through the simulation method as a test case before taking complete corrective action on the CMQ system. The new model's application shows the standard deviation of the process is decreased under the specified threshold. The method provides good results for improving the quality of the clinker production process. It can be used as an essential reference for applying the automation model in the clinker production process.

Abstract

This article puts forward the strategy of supply chain strategy for small and medium enterprises (called SMEs) in developing the network during their business period which network is needed and will change from time to time. Successful implementation of supply chain management (SCM) can give SMEs an advantage over their competitors. Problems that occur for SMEs in Indonesia and other developing countries face problems in the implementation of SCM due to lack of resources and direction. To compete effectively in global markets, SMEs must have effective supply chain management and thus require comprehensive strategic planning in an effort to develop the SME business group itself. This research methodology used qualitative approach through interview approach and field study to group members of Women Interfaith Among Religious (PAUB), Malang city. The results of field studies show that integrated small and medium enterprise (SME) supply chain strategy planning contribute to the success of SMEs for PAUB members of Malang city. The supply chain strategy planning process that SMEs need has stages like "source," "create," and "deliver". Thus, when implemented it will connect with various supply chain cycles such as "ordering," "procurement," "production," "distribution," and "customer" for SME groups.

Abstract

The higher the number of entrepreneurs in a country, the higher the economic growth and development rate. What can be done to increase the number of entrepreneurs? Can entrepreneurship be created? This study aimed to measure the effect of Subjective Norms and Entrepreneurship Education on the Entrepreneurial Intention of students. The samples of this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mercu Buana University, Meruya Jakarta campus, and Kranggan Bekasi. This research category is the quantitative method. Researcher collected data by distributing questionnaires using the snowball technique via a google form—measurement of data using statistical model SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that: (1) SN has a direct effect on ATB and PBC. (2) SN has an indirect influence on EI through ATB and PBC. (3) EE can moderate the impact of ATB, SN, PBC on EI. (4) SN, ATB. PBC and EE have a direct influence on EI. The novelty of this study is that the combination of SN and EE can generate student EI, whereas some previous research findings indicate that SN does not significantly affect EI.Keywords: Entrepreneurship Education, Attitude Toward Behavior,
