Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai Evaluasi Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien Terhadap Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Depo IGD Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamonia Makassar pada bulan juni tahun 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian di depo igd rumah sakit tk II pelamonia Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimental menggunakan metode cross-sectional dengan rancangan penelitian secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis kuantiitatif. Jumlah sampel yang diambil pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan penyebarann kuesioner dimana pertanyaan dalam kuesioner tersebut mencakup 5 dimensi yaitu keandalan, ketanggapan, kepastian, empati dan berwujud.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang dilakukan maka diperoleh persentase responden merasa puas terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian yang dilakukan di Depo IGD Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamonia Makassar adalah 98 % dan selebihnya respoonden menyatakan tidak puas. Responden yang merasa puas terhadap keandalan  sebanyak 96 % dan tidak puas sebanyak 4 %, untuk hasil dari ketanggapan, kepastian, empati dan berwujud adalah sebanyak 99 % responden menyatakan puas dan selebihnya kurang puas. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan kefarmasian yang ada di Depo IGD Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamonia Makassar sudah cukup baik. Kata Kunci : Tingkat Kepuasan, Pelayanan Kefarmasian, dan Depo IGD  Rumah Sakit TK II Pelamonia Makassar

Abstract

 ABSTRAK            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penurunan kadar glukosa darah dari rebusan daun pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) pada mencit yang telah di induksi glukosa 20% b/v. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakuan, kelompok I kontrol negatif dengan pemberian Na-CMC 0,5% b/v, kelompok II pemberian glibenklamid 0,002% b/v sebagai kontrol positif, kelompok III pemberian rebusan daun pandan wangi dengan konsentrasi 5% b/v, kelompok IV pemberian rebusan daun pandan wangi dengan konsentrasi 10% b/v, dan kelompok V pemberian rebusan daun pandan wangi dengan konsentrasi 20% b/v.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data secara statistik, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa rebusan daun pandan wangi yang digunakan dengan konsentrasi 5% b/v, 10% b/v, dan 20% b/v dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada mencit tetapi penurunannya tidak signifikan karena hasil penurunan rebusan daun pandan wangi yang digunakan dengan konsentrasi tersebut tidak jauh berbeda dengan penurunan Na-CMC sebagai kontrol negatif. Kata kunci : Daun pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.), rebusan, glukosa darah, dan mencit (Mus musculus).

Abstract

Human lifestyle is currently experiencing many changes that lead to unhealthy lifestyles. An instant lifestyle can trigger degenerative diseases, which are initiated by excessive oxidation reactions in the body, which can cause the formation of free radicals. Lemon juice, derived from the Citrus limon plant, is considered a functional beverage due to its antioxidant properties, which have the potential to counteract the harmful effects of free radicals. This study aimed to measure the antioxidant activity of lemon juice beverage based on the IC50 value. The present study adopted a descriptive laboratory approach, utilizing lemon juice beverages from three distinct brands as representative samples. The antioxidant activity test was carried out by adding DPPH and measured using UV-Vis Spectrophotometry. The antioxidant levels obtained were 1,091.17 µg/mL for sample A, 1,114.50 µg/mL for sample B, and 527,261 µg/mL for sample C. All samples exhibited antioxidant activity values that fell within the "very weak" classification, as shown by IC50 values above 200 µg/mL.

Abstract

Antibiotic resistance has emerged as a significant global health challenge, prompting the exploration of alternative antimicrobial agents. This study focuses on the synthesis and antibacterial potential of plant-based nanoparticles, specifically silver nanoparticles AgNPs, synthesized using neem leaf extract Azadirachta indica. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of these green-synthesized nanoparticles against Escherichia coli E. coli), a common pathogen responsible for numerous infections, including those resistant to conventional antibiotics. The synthesis of AgNPs was performed using neem leaf extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent, following a green synthesis approach that is environmentally friendly and avoids harmful chemicals. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using UV-Vis spectroscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy TEM, and X-ray Diffraction XRD, ensuring the particles’ size, shape, and crystalline structure were in the desired range. Antibacterial activity was assessed using the agar diffusion method, comparing the inhibition zones formed by the nanoparticles with those of traditional antibiotics. The findings revealed that the silver nanoparticles displayed significant antibacterial activity against E. coli, with inhibition zones comparable to conventional antibiotics, indicating their potential as an effective alternative in combating antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Moreover, these nanoparticles exhibited high stability and biocompatibility, making them a promising candidate for further biomedical applications. The results suggest that neem-based AgNPs could serve as an eco-friendly solution for addressing antibiotic resistance. Future research is recommended to explore the broad-spectrum activity of these nanoparticles against other bacterial pathogens and to assess their safety and efficacy in clinical settings.
