Abstract

The elderly Posyandu is a form of health service from the community of Lama Village, Pancur Batu District, in providing basic services specifically for the elderly, their rights in health services can be fulfilled. Population aged 60 years and over as many as 120 people, the average elderly are looking for physical care and better. The purpose of this service is to provide information on the use of infrared light for cadres, elderly families and the elderly. In this service the method used is to do counseling, training in the use of infrared for the age, cadres and families who take part in community service. The health level of the elderly is increasing, cadres and elderly families understand how to use infra red. Provision of infrared light has a very significant impact in improving health status in Lama Village, Pancur Batu District.

Abstract

Stroke is one of the serious health problems in modern life today. The prevalence of stroke increases with age. The World Health Organization (WHO) stipulates that stroke is a clinical syndrome with symptoms of global brain dysfunction that can cause death or abnormalities to persist for more than 24 hours, without other causes except vascular disorders which can cause a person's reduced mobility due to muscle strength downhill. This study aims to determine the effect of ROM (range of motion) on limb muscle strength in non-Hemaoragic stroke patients at H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan. Quasi-experimental research design with a sample of 90 people. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The significance of hand muscle strength before and after administration of ROM is 0,000. This means that there are differences in hand muscle strength before and after administration of ROM. The significance of leg muscle strength before and after administration of ROM is 0,000. This means that there are differences in leg muscle strength before and after administration of ROM. This proves that ROM influences the strength of the respondent's hand and leg muscles. Hospitals should set standard operating procedures for special handling of ROM so that the results obtained can be maximal and uniform for all muscle strength problemsKeywords: ROM, limb muscle strength, hands, feet

Abstract

Elderly integrated service pos is an integrated service post for elderly people (elderly) in a certain area that has been agreed by society. Cadres integrated service post have an important role in mobilizing elderly to come to integrated service post. In  Village of Suka Raya the number of elderly as many as 338 people from the total population 4291 people. Activity Posyandu elderly in Villege of Suka Raya less desirable by elderly who really need basic health services, so many elderly in the Village of Suka Raya experiencing health disturbances. This community service uses methods of counseling, training, application and assistance in the use of infrared addressed at cadres integrated service post in Village of Suka Raya. The aim of this Community Service is that integrated service post cadres understand and are able to provide maximum service to the elderly who come to integrated service post. The results of this Community Service show that there is an increase in elderly visits to integrated service post by 30%. It is expected that integrated service post cadres and elderly families can participate actively in helping to increase the elderly visit to the integrated service post of elderly.

Abstract

Fisioterapi di Sumatera Utara sampai saat ini masih belum dikenal luas oleh masyarakat. Salah satu dampak dari ketidaktahuan siswa tersebut adalah sebagian besar jurusan fisioterapi diperguruan tinggi di Sumatera Utara Khusunya tidak banyak diminati oleh siswa. Dampak lainnya banyak terjadi kasus fisioterapi yang tidak dapat diberi pelayanan dengan baik disebabkan tenaga fisioterapi yang masih kurang. Penyuluhuan ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Sibolga Kota Sibolga terhadap siswa kelas XII sebanyak 100 siswa. Metode pelaksanaannya adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi kepada siswa, diberikan kuisioner sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi kepada siswa. Hasilnya banyak siswa yang belum paham tentang fisioterapi, dan prospek di masa yang akan datang. Namun setelah di beri sosialisasi, siswa dapat mengerti dengan baik. Kesimpulan. Sebelum dilakukan sosialisasi, sebagian besar siswa SMK Negeri 2 Kota Sibolga masih belum tahu tentang fisioterapi. Jurusan fisioterapi masih belum menjanjikan bisa mendapat langsung pekerjaan. Semua siswa pada dasarnya sama ingin melanjutkan kuliah yang bias langsung mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai dengan harapan orang tua

Abstract

DISSEMINATION OF GIVING INFRA-RED AND TENS TO THE ELDERLY IN SUKASARI VILLAGE, SERDANG BEDAGAI. Older adults are very susceptible to health problems. These health problems are sometimes forgotten by the elderly family to take them to the nearest Elderly integrated service post. Elderly in Sukasari Village, Pegajahan Subdistrict, Serdang Bedagai Regency, which attended 72 activities, the average elderly has physical problems and needs more treatment by giving infrared and tens. In this service, the method is carried out by conducting counseling, training on the use of infrared for the elderly, cadres, and families who follow community service. Giving infrared and tens rays significantly give a very significant impact in increasing the health status of the elderly in Sukasari Village, Pegajahan District.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide information to parents, PAUD teachers about methods of character building in children. Character building is very effective starting from an early age, because early childhood still has an imitation spirit, meaning that if given a good example, it will be good too. The targets to be achieved after the implementation of this activity are parents and PAUD teachers so that character building must begin when children are at an early age. The method in this service activity is the lecture method and interactive question and answer with partners. Overall this service activity went smoothly and received a good response from parents and teachers. The majority of participants hoped that this activity would not stop there, but that there would be more intensive follow-up. With this activity, PAUD parents and teachers get information about methods for character building, so they can do it themselves at home. Keywords: Method, character building, early childhood

Abstract

Elderly age (elderly) is the final period in human life marked by psychological-social changes and physical changes resulting in decreased weakness, increased susceptibility to disease, and physiological changes, namely with disturbances to the sleep quality of the elderly. Poor sleep quality in the elderly is caused by increased sleep latency, reduced sleep efficiency, and early awakening due to the aging process. Treatment of sleep disorders can use complementary therapies, one of which is progressive muscle relaxation therapy. The purpose of this study was to identify whether there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on sleep quality in the elderly. This research was conducted on 19-26 August 2021, this study used a research one group pre-post test design with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The population in this study were the elderly in Fajar Village, Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency, totaling 30 people aged 60-74 years, female, elderly who are no longer actively working, can see and hear and have light/moderate/poor sleep quality. . This study used the SOP for progressive muscle relaxation therapy and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) questionnaire. By using the method Wilcoson Sign Rank Test, the p-value is 0.000 (p<0.05). Based on the results of the study, there was an effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy in the elderly in Fajar Village, Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency with a pre-post value, with p<0.05 (0.000). Thus, it can be expected that people with sleep quality disorders should apply progressive muscle relaxation therapy to reduce sleep quality, especially in Fajar Village, Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency. Keywords: Progressive muscle relaxation, sleep quality, the elderly

Abstract

Back massage is a touch of the hand that is done by means of stroking, petrisage, friction and skin rolling movements with the aim of improving the sleep quality of the elderly, because this therapy has the ability to produce a relaxation response that makes the body relax and feel comfortable when entering a rest or sleeping time. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of sleep of the elderly at the Taman Bodhi Asri Binjai Panti. This research method uses a quasi experiment. The population in this study were 86 elderly people with poor sleep quality who were in the Taman Bodhi Asri Binjai Panti. The number of samples taken by the researcher was 46 respondents using the simple random sampling technique. The results of the Wilcoxon rank test analysis on the pretest and posttest obtained a Z value of -3.522, and Assimp. Signed 0.002 or (p <0.05. Abstract

The development of hospitals in Indonesia is rapidly (both hospitals that are managed by the government and private), and it proofed by the successes of development in the field of health. Each hospital should to improve and make an equal the standard hospital that has been set by the government so that patients who come for good treatment. Patient satisfaction is one indicator of the success of hospital health services. Besides, nursing services is a factor in influencing the satisfaction of hospitalizing the patient. This research used a cross-sectional approach, with 67 patients hospitalized at Siti Hajar General Hospital as a sample. The aim of the research to find out the related factor in nursing services on the satisfaction of hospitalizing patient at the Siti Hajar General Hospital in Medan. The results of this study indicate that there is a correlation between nursing services in the form of attention aspects (0.002 <0.05), admission aspects (0.016 <0.05), communication aspects (0.010 <0.05) with patient satisfaction in Siti Hajar General Hospital Medan. The nurse must actively respond to every complaint submitted by the patient, showing a caring attitude to the patient. Nurses also have to communicate with patients and families about the disease and action on patients should explain all activities related to nursing care actions, so that patients understand the process and are willing to comply.Keywords: Satisfaction, Patient, Service, Hospital, Inpatient Perkembangan rumah sakit di Indonesia  sangatlah pesat, baik rumah sakit yang dikelola pemerintah maupun swasta. Hal ini bukti salah satu keberhasilan pembangunan dibidang kesehatan. Setiap rumah sakit harus memenuhi standart rumah saki tyang telah ditetapkan pemerintah agar pasien yang datang berobat dapat terlayani dengan baik. Kepuasan pasien merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit. Salah satu faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien rawat inap adalah pelayanan  keperawatan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan  pendekatan cross sectional.  Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebnyak 67 pasien yang dirawat inap di RSU Siti Hajar. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan  pelayanan keperawatan terhadap kepuasan pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Siti Hajar Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan antara layanan keperawatan berupa aspek perhatian (0.002<0,05), aspek penerimaan (0.016<0,05), aspek komuikasi(0.010<0,05) dengan kepuasan pasien. Rumah Sakit Umum Siti Hajar Medan. Kesimpulan.  Perawat harus merespon secara aktif setiap keluhan yang disampaikan oleh pasien ,menunjukkan sikap caring kepada pasien. Perawat juga harus melakukan komunikasi terhadap pasien dan keluarga tentang penyakit dan tindakan terhadap pasien seharusnya menjelaskan semua aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan tindakan pelayanan keperawatan agar pasien memahami proses tersebut dan bersedia untuk mematuhinya.Abstract ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris (kecuali artikel yang ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris) yang berisikan isu-isu pokok, tujuan penelitian, metode/pendekatan dan hasil.Kata Kunci: Kepuasan, Pasien, Pelayanan, Rumah Sakit, Rawat Inap

Abstract

SPG is one of the jobs required to use high heels at work. SPG usually wears high heels to support their appearance and attract attention so that consumers are interested in buying the goods they offer. Wearing high heels causes plantar heel pain because high heels push the foot into a plantarflexed position, forcing the muscles and tendons to work harder to compensate. The medial gastrocnemius muscle fascicle shortens and the Achilles tendon becomes stiffer due to the length of time the compensation takes. Objective: To find out whether there is a relationship between the use of high heels and plantar heel pain at Sales Promotion Girl Oppo at Plaza Millennium. Methods: This research is an analytic observational type with a cross-sectional design. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling that meets the inclusion and exclusion criteria with a sample of 38 respondents. Researchers took data in the field by providing an observation sheet measuring plantar heel pain (VAS) and measuring heel height with the midline. Results: The results of the Pearson test showed that the significance value or p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the use of high heels on plantar heel pain at Sales Promotion Girl OPPO at Plaza Millenium.. .Keywords: High heels, plantar heel pain
