Abstract

The purpose of research is to know: the role of teachers in handling hyperactive child behavior in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Samarinda, the inhibiting factor of teacher in the handling of hyperactive child behavior in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Samarinda, and supporting factor of teacher in handling behaviour of hyperactive children. This method of research is qualitative with a case study approach consisting of two focuses, namely the role of the teacher and child behavior hyperactivity. The results show that hyperactive child behavior has difficulties to focus, unable to sit quietly, perform unmistakable, rebellious activities and could not wait. The teacher's role in child care is hyperactive: as a learning designer, learning artist, learning motivator, mediator learning and inspirational learning. The inhibitory factor in treating hyperactive children is the professionalism of teachers, approaches with hyperactive children, and child behavior. The supporting factors, namely environment, facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the method of storytelling in optimizing receptive language skills. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a type of case study research.The results of the study show that in (1) planning the storytelling method, the teacher prepares RPPM and RPPH, the teacher adjusts the story to the theme to be discussed, determines the form or technique of storytelling, determines and prepares materials and tools to be used when telling stories according to the techniques set, and adjust the sitting position of the child before starting the story telling activity. (2) The implementation of storytelling activities is that the teacher implements a storytelling method according to the stages of storytelling, and the techniques used by the teacher when telling stories are different in each center. (3) The development of receptive language skills of children aged 5-6 years in 02 Tenggarong State Kindergarten have reached the expected criteria. The development of receptive language skills in children is developed in accordance with the indicators of its development, through activities designed so that children can reach the standard level of achievement of child development.

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the strategies implementation, supporting and challenging factors in singing learning strategies in Dharma Bahagia kindergarten school in optimizing children's musical intelligence. This research used a qualitative approach with case studies type. The research subjects included the school principal, teacher, trainer and 8 children aged 5-6 years. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with interactive models of data analysis. The results revealed that the strategy used was a demonstration strategy when the teacher taught children directly the steps to memorize lyrics and direct teaching guided by the teacher in memorizing songs and tones. The trainer role was limited to the training process outside the classroom. Some challenging factors that arised are the teachers’ lack of preparation and the dependence of the trainer's schedule and the lack of learning media facilities to support singing activities. It causes an unconducive learning atmosphere and lack of song lyrics memorization. The supporting factors found included high children enthusiasm in participating in singing activities, the teachers’ activeness in directing children, and that involving music activities and a conducive space to practice singing activities. The results concluded that a demonstration strategy and direct teaching can optimize musical intelligence in classroom learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran keterampilan motorik halus pada anak usia dini harus diterapkan secara tepat sesuai dengan usia anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran keterampilan motorik halus, serta penerapan strategi pembelajaran keterampilan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 1 kepala sekolah, 1 guru dan 10 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Tunas Tridharma Plus Samarinda. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dianalisis berdasarkan model analisis deskriptif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman mulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan dua temuan yaitu stategi guru merancang pembelajaran keterampilan motorik halus berupa desain pembelajaran dalam bentuk dokumen RPPM dan RPPH berdasarkan model pembelajaran di sekolah. Penerapan strategi pembelajaran keterampilan motorik halus menggunakan strategi pembelajaran demonstrasi, guru mengajarkan langsung dalam pembelajaran keterampilan motorik halus, strategi pengajaran langsung ikut praktek langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan strategi guru yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran motorik halus adalah demonstrasi, sehingga penelitian ini berkontribusi memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan strategi demonstrasi sebagai upaya guru di TK Tunas Tridharma Plus Samarinda.

Abstract

This research employs a qualitative approach with a narrative type. The aim of this study is to explore the implementation of Banjarese ethnic parents' parenting patterns in internalizing worship behaviors in children. Children are considered as gifts from Allah SWT, requiring attention and guidance from parents. The family is regarded as the primary environment crucial in shaping children's characters. In educating children, good parenting patterns and two-way communication between parents and children are paramount. Parents should instill religious values from an early age, using approaches suitable for the child's age and understanding, and provide positive examples. Parenting patterns can be influenced by social and cultural factors as well as the living environment. The research also encompasses a study on the parenting patterns of Banjarese families in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, emphasizing religious education from an early age and the habituation of worship practices. Interview results with Banjarese families indicate that religious education starts as early as 2 years old in a gentle and supportive manner.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dilapangan terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK. Barunawati 3 Samarinda masih rendah. Penelitian ini tindakan kelas (classroom action research) menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. bertujuan untuk perkembangan motorik halus anak dengan kegiatan montase. Hasil penelitian ini melalui 3 siklus, Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I, II, dan III menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak setelah pemberian kegiatan montase. di TK. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan perolehan jumlah nilai pada siklus I yaitu 151 perolehan nilai rata-rata yaitu 38%. Pada siklus II yaitu 246,5% perolehan nilai rata-rata yaitu 62%. Pada siklus III yaitu 350,5% nilai rata-rata yaitu 88% dengan kriteria berkembang sangat baik. Berdasarkan data tersebut di atas, dapat disimpulkan kegiatan montase dapat meningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK. Barunawati 3 samarinda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan pola asuh orang tua dalam pengenalan literasi awal anak usia pada anak usia 5-6 Tahun Pada Masa Pandemi Covid 19 di RT 57 Kelurahan Air Putih Samarinda. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara langsung dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1 ) Pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orangtua ialah pola asuh otoritatif dimana anak diberi kebebasan dalam belajar, orangtua hanya memberikan dorongan motivasi dan arahan yang sesuai. Pola asuh otoritatif mendorong anak untuk mandiri namun masih menerapkan batas dan kendali pada tindakan mereka. Tindakan verbal memberi dan menerima dimungkinkan, dan orang tua bersikap hangat dan penyayang terhadap anak, 2) hambatan yang dihadapi orangtua yaitu ketika anak mulai merasa bosan. Anak merasa kesulitan untuk mengontrol emosi, sehingga dalam melatih membaca dan menulis (literasi) orangtua harus memperhatikan emosi terlebih dahulu. Implikasi penelitian ini sebagai kajian untuk orangtua dalam memahami pengasuhan yang mendukung kemampuan literasi awal anak di rumah. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh, Literasi Awal, Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi perlunya peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru dalam aktivitas belajar motorik halus terutama jenjang usia 4-6 tahun. Pemilihan bahan kertas kokoru sebagai sumber belajar alternatif yang memiliki daya visual yang menarik serta tingkat kesulitan untuk pembelajaran menggunting, menempel dan melipat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan agar guru PAUD memiliki wawasan baru untuk memanfaatkan kertas kokoru sebagai bahan materi pembelajaran di kelas. Metode yang dilaksanakan yakni simulasi pembelajaran berbasis motorik halus melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti: (1). Menjahit, (2) Montase, (3). Kolase, (4). Mozaik, (5). Melukis, (6). Menggunakan bahan kertas kokoru. Sehingga sangat tepat sasaran bagi guru – guru PAUD dalam kegiatan program pengabdian ini untuk memperkaya wawasan dan pengalaman baru terutama bagi guru pemula. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di salah satu gugus kecamatan Sungai Kunjang, Kota Samarinda sejumlah 25 peserta selama dua hari. Peserta mendapat tugas secara kelompok untuk memperoleh hasil kemampuan yang diharapkan dalam pembelajaran motorik halus. Dengan demikian, keterampilan mengajar untuk guru PAUD dalam pembelajaran motorik halus bagi anak usia 4-6 tahun dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan material kertas kokoru di berbagai aktivitas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of playing blocks during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research method is qualitative with descriptive research type. The subject of this research was carried out on Kindergarten students aged 5-6 years at Dharma Bahagia Kindergarten Samarinda for the 2020 academic year which consisted of 3 students. The data analysis technique used is the Milles and Hubberman model. The results of the study illustrate that the planning carried out in the block game aims to develop fine motor skills. The teacher asks for the willingness of parents as facilitators to prepare tools in the block game. Optimizing children's fine motor skills in terms of the way the teacher carries out teaching activities, it can be seen that the teacher applies learning steps by providing the direction of the block game through the zoom application. However, the stimulation provided by the teacher in the development of fine motor skills with this bold block game is still not optimal because of the obstacles that cannot be met face-to-face and parents also have to play a role in helping children. This study implies that the application of block games still needs to be done with variations in learning during the current pandemic.

Abstract

This study contributes to the conceptualization of community-oriented parenting towards the context of early childhood education in Indonesia. It was based on a literature analysis of multicultural community care practices as a characteristic of Indonesia. The research design used a systematic literature review which selected 136 articles for analysis using a thematic approach. The theme narrated was how to describe the process of community care culture as identity and negotiation of community care culture within the ethno-parenting framework in early childhood education. This research proposed that the definition of parenting in Indonesian society could be used as material for the development of sustainable parenting education, especially the dimensions of ethno-parenting and multicultural education.
