Abstract

The role of language has significance for the intellectual support of studentsuccess. Teaching language at school is expected to help students introducegood and correct language. Grade 1 students are still aged 6 to 7 years ofstudents interested in drawing so that by introducing the child's writing willmotivate learning. First grade students are in the process of reading andwriting. Teachers need to be aware and done to make the atmospherecomfortable and fun learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of word card in learning and to know the increase of reading and writing ability of first grade students in SD Islam NU Pungkuran.Implementation of word cards to improve the ability of reading and writingstudents class I. Improvement of learning held on Thursday, September 2, 2017in class I SD Islam NUPungkuran with a total of 13 students. Based on thepercentage of prasiklus results only 38% of students who are able to read andwrite. Improvement of learning cycle I percentage mastery by 62%.Improvements continued in cycle II increased to 77% with a total of 10 students.The researchers concluded that there was a 15% increase from cycle I to cycleII with the number of categories of students able to read and write increasedfrom 8 to 10 students.Keywords: Reading, Writing, and Word Cards

Abstract

Tujuan khusus dari program ini terhadap mitra adalah memberikan motivasi guru untuk melaksanakan program pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan,meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas program pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan, meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas karya khususnya karya pengembangan penelitian tindakan kelas hingga berbentuk pelaporan hasil,meningkatnya kemampuan pemilihan kesesuaian metode statistik dalamevaluasi pembelajaran dan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penggunaankomputer serta adanya sarana promosi mitra ke masyarakat umum. Tujuan tersebut diselesaikan menggunakan metode workshop dengan teknik presentasimateri dilanjutkan dengan diskusi, teknik klinik, sedangkan masalah terbatasnya kegiatan promosi dilakukan dengan pembuatan website dan mediasosial sekolah mitra, selanjutnya pendampingan.Hasil capaian dari kegiatan program kemitraan masyarakat bagi guru SDMuhammadiyah 08 dan SD Islam NU Pungkuran yaitu; 1) adanya peningkatanpengetahuan tentang jenjang karir guru, program keprofesian berkelanjutan,memahami lebih lanjut tentang penelitian tindakan kelas dan evaluasipembelajaran, serta tersedianya sarana promosi untuk masing-masing sekolah;2) adanya pendampingan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut.Keywords: pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan, penelitian tindakan kelas

Abstract

Small area statistic is very interested in various fields at present. Estimation of small area is needed to obtain information on a small area, such as the scope of the district, subdistrict, or village. Such information becomes very important with the development of regional autonomy in Indonesia because it can be used as reference to construct a system ofplanning, monitoring, and other government policies without the cost of large to collect the data itself. The method being developed to predict small area statistics is the estimation of small area (small area estimation). Estimation for small areas in this study is applied to estimate poverty mapping of distric level in Demak. The result of poverty mapping in demak shows that population density become dominan factor poverty in some areas of demak.

Abstract

This improvement is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of IPA on the material Structure and Function of PlantSection. Most students' critical thinking skills have not yet been seen and scoredunder the KKM. Therefore, teachers apply environmentally directed discoverylearning model in order to create a fun learning atmosphere. The purpose of thisimprovement is to know the improvement of learning outcomes and criticalthinking skills in science learning materials Structure and Function Part Plantsof fourth graders Semester 1 Islamic elementary school NU Pungkuran DistrictSemarang Central Semarang City Lesson 2016/2017.The implementation oflearning improvement consists of 2 cycles. Cycle I dated October 4, 2016 andCycle II dated October 11, 2016. The results obtained are the increase in thepercentage completeness of student learning outcomes cycle I reached 67%, andcycle II reached 92%. While the achievement of critical thinking skills in the firstcycle reached 58.3% with predicate enough and cycle II increased to 83.3% witha range of intervals from 2.40 to 2.79 predicate enough. The conclusion is thatthe application of environmentally directed discovery learning model canimprove learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students in sciencelearning materials Structure and Function of Class Section IV Semester 1 SDIslam NU Pungkuran District Semarang Tengah Semarang City Lesson2016/2017.Keywords: discovery, learning outcomes, critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the Project Based Learning model effectively with the completeness criteria achieved, there is an effect of confidence and activity, and there is an average difference. This research is a type of quantitative research with experimental methods. The independent variable in this study is active and confident, while the dependent variable of research is students' critical thinking skills. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with samples of classes VIII A, VIII B and VIII C. Data collection methods in this study were interviews, observations, questionnaires, evaluation tests.The results showed that students' critical thinking ability using the Project Based Learning model achieved completeness both individually and classical. The average student's critical thinking abilityreaches 85.26. The percentage of completeness is 94% or as many as 29 students from 31 students have reached the completeness of the ability to think critically. The influence of confidence and activity on the ability to think critically by using Project Based Learning model of 97.7%. There are differences in the average ability to think critically between classes that apply the Project Based Learning model to the class that applies conventional learning models. The average value of the critical thinking ability of the experimental class is 85.26 and the control class is 74.19. It is expected that the teacher can make the Project Based Learning model as an alternative to learning mathematics that can improve self-confidence, activity, and critical thinking of students in other material Keywords: Confidence, Activity, Critical Thinking, Project Based Learning

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process the lecturer occupies a very central position, because its role is very decisive. Lecturers must be able to translate and describe the content contained inthe curriculum, then transform the contents to the students through the process of teaching andlearning. Apart from that, improving and developing the quality of education is alwaysexpected. Therefore, the way of improvement and development is also a problem for us all.Neither government, society, nor individual should feel obliged to endure it. In learning,science and technology great role to promote a country. To be an advanced country, the nationmust be ingenious, clever and a lot of knowledge, both social science, natural science,introduction of probability and other sciences that are skilled. Without prejudice to any otherknowledge, the role of introductory probability is likely to be very important and needsserious handling. Introduction probability is a discipline that has a characteristic comparedwith the discipline of science. Therefore, learning and teaching activities required a method,given the different students of different levels of ability. Introduction probability arisesbecause of human thoughts associated with ideas, processes and reasoning. Learning on thematerial still uses expository methods. In this research, Realistic Matematics Education(RME) model with E-learning will be used.

Abstract

Hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas VI SD Muhammadiyah 08 Semarang  masih   rendah. Hal ini terlihat pada nilai rata-rata kelas hanya 56,8. Siswa juga terlihatkurang aktif selama pembelajaran di kelas sehingga guru perlu menggunakanmetode yang lebih bervariasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkankemampuan siswa dalam  menyelesaikan soal cerita yang berkaitan denganoperasi hitung bilangan bulat  pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian  dilakukandalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I yang dilaksanakan 6 Oktober 2014 dan  siklus IIyang dilaksanakan 13 Oktober 2014. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputiwawancara, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadipeningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Terlihat dari hasil tes pra tindakan,menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa 56,8. Setelah diadakan tindakan siklusI, nilai rata-rata siswa menjadi 63,2. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus II, nilairata-rata siswa menjadi 83,9. Pendekatan kontekstual mampu meningkatkankemampuan siswa kelas VI SD Muhammadiyah 08 Pedurungan kota Semarangdalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yang berkaitan dengan operasi hitung bilangan bulat.Keywords: soal cerita, bilangan bulat, pendekatan kontekstual
