Abstract

Salah satu upaya peningkatan kualitas guru matematika adalah dengan meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. NCTM merumuskan kemampuan pembelajaran matematika yang disebut mathematical power meliputi: (a) communication, (b) reasoning, (c) problem solving, (d) connection, (e) representation.Kenyataannya masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum mempunyai mathematical power yang baik. Salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan mathematical power adalah penerapan model pembelajaran IDEAL problem solving berbasis PBL. Tujuan penelitian adalah (a) menghasilkan buku ajar yang sesuai dengan model pembelajaran IDEAL problemsolving berbasis PBL; (b) mengetahui seberapa besar  peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa dengan model pembelajaran IDEAL problem solving berbasis PBL. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa pendidikan matematika UNIMUS. Hasil penelitian (a) dihasilkan buku ajar materi persamaan kudrat, peluang, trigonometri, turunan dan program linier yang baik; (b) implementasi model pembelajaran IDEAL problem solving berbasis PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan penelitian diharapkan dosen dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran IDEAL problem solving berbasis PBL.

Abstract

Evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara menyeluruh, tentunya tidak sekedar dilakukan oleh guru saja. Namun proses evaluasi dilakukan oleh seluruh masyarakat sekolah yang berada pada lingkungan tersebut. Diantaranya oleh : kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, tenaga kependidikan dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah. Untuk menghasilkan proses evaluasi pembelajaran matematika yang maksimal dan sesuai dengan tujuan evauasi maka perlu adanya perencanaan dan desain evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika secara matang. Proses evaluasi pembelajaran tidak hanya pada sekolah formal namun pada sekolah nonformal dalam hal ini khusus pada kejar paket B, dimana perlu adanya evaluasi pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini dikarenakan pada proses pembelajaran matematika pada kejar paket B masih terkesan seadanya. Sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan dan desain evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), dengan objek evaluasi adalah pengelola, tutor/guru matematika, dan siswa kejar paket B..Kata Kunci: Desain evaluasi pembelajaran matematika, Model CIPP.

Abstract

Lecturers apply various models or learning strategies to the students which causes different student responses in joining the teaching learning process. However, the student responses only focus on their cognitive. It means that the lecturers only assess on the students’ achievement. Whereas the applicat ion different models or learning strategies have a purpose to achieve positive responses from the students. It is happened in learning linear program subject. In addition, there are also student responses on the teaching materials application for linear program subject based on contextual approach. Furthermore, the objective of the research is to describe student responses on the application of linear program teaching materials using contextual approach through Linever.Linever means that an acronym for Lindo and Excel Solver software. Moreover, textbook and student’ worksheets (LKM) are the teaching materials which are developed. The technique of data collection uses student responses questionnaires. The result of the research is the student responses on the linear program materials using contextual approach through Linever got 96.6%. In conclusion, this research had achieved the positive responses from the students in learning linear program subject. Abstract

The problems in this study appears is the low ability of students mathematical reasoning which is characterized most of learners difficulties in solving implementation problems to change contextual problems into mathematical form. In addition, students the activeness and interest is still low. One way to overcome these problems is to implement cooperative learning model “Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) ”Joyful Learning approach. This study aims to identify using a mathematical model of CIRCJoyful Learning approach the ability of mathematical reasoning of learners effective. This research was anexperiment research, with every grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Semarang academic year 2017/2018 as the population.The samples in this reasearch were class VIII B as experimental class, classVIII D as control class, and class VIII C as test class. The results of thisstudy indicate that: (1) learners using CIRCJoyful Learning approach applied reach of 93,33% more than 81% with the completeness criterion 75, (2) the effect test showed the influence of activity towards and interest the mathematical reasoning in application of learning model CIRCJoyful Learning approach by 88,6%. (3) Different test results indicate there is difference of average ability of comprehension of mathematical reasoning between using learning model of CIRCJoyful Learning approach by 82,00 with using ekspository learning model equal to 78,73. Based on these three things, it shows that the applying of learning model CIRC Joyful Learning approach on the ability of mathematical reasoning of effective classpythagoras theorem material.Keywords: Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, joyfullearning, reasoning mathematically

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student’s competency (student’s learning achievement) using character-based lesson plan with inquiry approach with Cabri 3D on space geometry subject. The research is a quantitative eperiment by comparing the process before and after the use of the lesson plan. Test, observation, and documentation ware used in the research to support the result. It showed the average pre test result 31,94 and for post test was 85,17. Based on the statistical analysis using paired sample t test, t counted 25,18 and indicated significant improve on the student’s competency. However, the application of character-based lesson plan with inquiry approach with Cabri 3D give significant improvement on space geometry subject.Keywords: character-based lesson plan, inquiry, cabri 3D.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang mengiplementasikan bahan ajar pendekatan kontektual berbantuan linever (software Lindo dan Excel Solver). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari bahan ajar pendekatan kontektual berbantuan linever dalam proses perkuliahan program linear dengan kriteria : adanya ketuntasan belajar baik individu maupun klasikal, adanya pengaruh keaktifan dan keterampilan proses terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa, dan adanya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menerapkan bahan ajar tersebut dengan yang tidak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : adanya ketuntasan belajar baik individu maupun klasikal sebesar 100% mahasiswa tuntas, adanya pengaruh keaktifan dan keterampilan proses sebesar 90,3% terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa, dan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menerapkan bahan ajar tersebut dengan yang tidak. Dengan rata-rata mahasiswa yang menerapkan bahan ajar sebesar 86 sedangkan yang tidak menerapkan bahan ajar sebesar 70. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahawa implementasi bahan ajar pendekatan kontektual berbantuan linever efektif.Keywords: linear program, contekstual, lindo and Excel Solver.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that students' mathematical communication skills are low because students are not accustomed to writing what was asked of the questions before completing them, so students often misinterpret them when faced with story problems. To overcome theseproblems by applying the Three Step Interview learning model with aneducational approach character. This study aims to determine theeffectiveness of the Three Step Interview learning model with a character education approach to the mathematical communication skills of class X students of SPLDV. This type of experimental research, the population of all class X students at MA Tajul Ulum 2018/2019. Sampling was purposive sampling. The study sample was X MIA I control class, X MIA 2 experimental class and X IIS trial class. The results of the study showed that students achieved complete mathematical communication skills individually: 84.40 and classical: 88.57%. The influence of confidence and communicative on mathematical communication skills is 58.5%, there is a difference in the average of the experimental class: 84.40 and control class: 72.35. It can be concluded that the Three Step Interview model with a character education approach to mathematical communication skills in SPLDV material is effective.Keywords: Three Step Interview, character education, mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Problems in this research that is learning of derivative matter about problem solving problem still considered difficult. Lack of motivation and responsibility result in problem-solving abilities also low. This study aims to develop a valid learning media and learning with learning media developed effectively. Effective is referred to in this research is to achieve mastery, the influence and the difference of average. This research is a type of development research with ADDIE Model which is an abbreviation of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The population in this study are all students of class XI in SMA N 1 Jatinom academic year 2016/2017. Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. Techniques used to collect data in this study are interviews, documentation, observation, questionnaires and tests. Kevalidan media product developed based on validation consisting of validation of expert media I with achievement level of 93,75%, media expert II equal to 87,5%, material expert equal to 77,5% and media user equal to 86,67%. The average achievement rate is 86.355%, so the learning media is feasible to be used. The result of completeness test of problem solving ability reaching completeness of study individually with KKM 77 counted 31 students from 38 students and mastery classically 83,87%. Result of influence test by using linear regression test in SPSS program showed that motivation and responsibility influence problem solving equal to 98,1%. The mean difference test results indicate an average difference in problem solving skills of the experimental class and control class. The average problem solving ability of the experimental class is better that 82.90 than the control class of 70.25. So the Uno Static Learning Media in the Application of Snowball Throwing Learning Model The Class XI Derivative Material is valid and effective learning. Based on the research is expected teachers can use instructional media and innovate the learning model as a means of improving motivation, responsibility and problem solving skills of learners.Keywords: Learning Media, Uno Statik, Snowball Throwing, Problem Solving Abilities.

Abstract

Teaching material is a tool for an educator in the success of the learning processat all levels of education and all areas of study. No exception learning process oflinear program in Higher Education. For that an educator must be able toarrange their own teaching materials in accordance with the competence to beachieved as well as student characteristics. In the course of linear programming,there needs to be a theory application in everyday problems or in industryproblems. In addition complex calculation problems make the process of solvingproblems related to linear program takes a long time. So that researchers doresearch in designing teaching materials linear program with linear assistedcontextual approach. So the purpose of this study is to know that the teachingmaterials linear program with linear-assisted contextual assisted approach usedin the learning process. Linever is an acronym for Lindo and Excel Solversoftware. The teaching materials developed are Diktat and Student Worksheet(LKM). This research is a part of development research with ADDIE developmentmodel (Analysis, Design, Development, implementation, Evaluation), that is atDesign stage. Data collection techniques use validation materials sheet given tothe validator. The result of the research shows that the linear program teachingmaterials with linearly validated contextual approach are used with the averagerating of 3.6% included in the criteria. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model type Pair Check Software Geogebra assisted on the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of class X trigonometric material is achieving effective learning. This research is an experimental research. The population of this study are all classes of X MIPA. The independent variables in this research are process skill and independence, while the dependent variable is ability of comprehensionof mathematical concept. The results of this study indicate that: (1) learners using Geogebra software assisted Pair Check model achieved completeness of 85.294% more than 80% with the completeness criterion 75, (2) the effect test showed the influence of independence and process skill towards understanding mathematical concept in application of learning model type of Pair Check Software Geogebra assisted by 81,9%. (3) Different test results show that there is a difference in theaverage ability of understanding of mathematical concepts between using a type of learning model of Pair Check with Geogebra Software assisted by 80.00 with an expository learning model of 75.470. Based on those three things, it shows that the implementation of Pair Check model is Geogebra Software Assisted on the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts of effective class trigonometric materials.  Keywords: Pair Check, Geogebra Software, Understanding concept
