Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknis Kepala Dusun Jatiayu dalam bidang penyusunan proposal, pengumpulan, penyimpanan, dan pengelolaan dokumen digital, serta pengoperasian aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Tahapan pengabdian terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Seluruh tahapan dimulai pada 30 Juli 2020 sampai dengan 25 Januari 2021. Metode pengabdian diimplementasikan melalui pemberian bimbingan teknis. Sasaran pengabdian adalah Kepala Dusun Kelurahan Jatiayu sebanyak 13 orang. Tim pengabdian masyarakat yang terlibat sebanyak 5 orang dengan 2 orang di antaranya bertindak sebagai instruktur. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa Kepala Dusun Jatiayu sebagai masyarakat sasaran pengabdian telah mengalami peningkatan kompetensi yang signifikan dalam bidang penyusunan proposal dan pengelolaan dokumen administrasi desa secara digital, serta telah kompeten dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi Zoom Meeting untuk berbagai keperluan rapat. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pengabdian masyarakat ini telah mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. This community service program aims to improve the technical competency of the Head of Dusun Jatiayu in proposal preparation, collection, storage, and management of digital documents, as well as to operate the Zoom Meeting application. The service stages consist of preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation stages. All stages start on July 30, 2020, to January 25, 2021. The service method is carried out through the provision of technical guidance. The target of dedication is the Dusun Head of Jatiayu Village, with as many as 13 people. This community service team involves five people, with two people as instructors. Monitoring and evaluation results show that the Head of Dusun Jatiayu, as the target community for community service, has experienced a significant increase in competence in preparing digital proposals and managing village administration documents and has been competent in operating the Zoom Meeting application for various meeting needs. Thus, this community service program has achieved the stated goals.

Abstract

Risk perception and critical thinking have become the two important cognitive skills for adolescents to possess in order to prevent risky online behavior such as spreading fake news. These skills are related to digital literacy and can be improved through training. However, most of the existing literature is in digital literacy training, online risk perception, and critical thinking by using correlational approach and conventional digital literacy training. For this reason, this research aimed to integrate Islamic values into digital training to improve risk perception and critical thinking skills among Muslim adolescents. This study hypothesized that digital literacy based on Islamic values can improve adolescents risk perception and critical thinking skills. To test this hypothesis, a pre-test post-test within experimental research design involving 112 Muslim adolescents in Surabaya was conducted. The participants were provided with digital literacy training which was embedded with Islamic values in four training sessions. The risk perception and critical thinking scale were used to measure each dependent variable. The results of data analysis using the paired sample t-test showed that there were significant differences in the scores of risk perception and critical thinking skills before and after training. Thus, the hypotheses in this study were accepted. The practical implications of the results of this study are also discussed.

Abstract

The background to the implementation of the Community Service Program was the difficulties teachers and prospective math teachers in East Flores City had in designing and managing interactive learning online. So, the main purpose of this service is to increase the competence of teachers and prospective teachers according to the needs of the target community. The dedication stage consists of (1) the Preparation Stage; (2) the Implementation Stage, and; (3) the Practice, Monitoring, and Evaluation Stage. All stages of the service are carried out in the period 1-30 August 2021. The implementation stage of the service is carried out through the webinar method and the implementation of interactive learning designs using the Quizizz and Mentimeter platforms. The target community is 20 people. The Service Team consists of 3 students and one supervisor. One mathematics education expert from Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) was involved in the implementation stage. Based on the Practice, Monitoring, and Evaluation Stages, it is known that all participants have implemented the webinar material, and more than 85% of participants stated that this service program was very useful and increased competency in designing and managing interactive learning online. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of community service has achieved the stated goals.

Abstract

College students as young adults have several expectations and burden from the society, including they who majored psychology with tough workloads and expectations. Current research aim to determine the impact of MBSR-based intervention to reduce stress levels in College students. The research method used was an one group pretest-posttest experimental research design with 40 Psychology of X student as participants using purposive sampling techniques and PSS-10 data collection techniques. The intervention used was mindfulness-based training to reduce stress (MBSR) with 2-weeks intervention program. The analysis techniques used were paired t-test (sig 0.000 < 0.05) and cross-tabulation (men = 6.73; women = 9.81). The results shows that there was a significant effect of MBSR-based training on reducing stress in College students; which female students have a greater level of stress reduction than men students. This research proves that mindfulness-based training is able to reduce stress in college students.

Abstract

Technological advances encourage the development of digital marketing, including the use of beauty influencers in promoting beauty products. This phenomenon then led to impulse buying behavior in consumers of beauty products. This study aims to determine the effect of beauty influencers on impulse buying behavior on beauty products. Respondents in this study were 114 social media users who follow beauty influencers and have purchased products reviewed by beauty influencers. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed through social media. The scale used in this study is the Impulse Buying Tendency Scale from Verplanken and Herabadi (2001). The data analysis technique used spearman rank correlation with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results showed that the two variables had a significant relationship with a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the relationship between the two variables has a fairly strong relationship with a correlation coefficient value of 0.271. This finding indicates that the higher the influence of influencers, the higher the impulse buying behavior on beauty products
