Abstract

Ikan gurami merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang disukai oleh masyarakat. Namun, pertumbuhan ikan ini relatif lambat sehingga memerlukan salah satu solusi untuk mempersingkat masa pemeliharaan ikan. Arang aktif salah satu suplemen yang dapat ditambahkan dalam pakan. Limbah tulang ikan kambing-kambing merupakan salah satu limbah dari fillet ikan kambing-kambing yang belum termanfaatkan secara optimal sehingga berpotensi dijadikan arang aktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan dosis penambahan arang aktif tulang ikan kambing-kambing yang optimal dalam pakan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan gurami. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan dua ulangan, sebagai perlakuan yaitu penambahan arang aktif dengan dosis berbeda. Perlakuannya antara lain T0 (0%), T1 (1%), T2 (2%), dan T3 (3%). Ikan uji yang digunakan ukuran bobot 2,2 ± 0,1 g dan panjang 5,3 ± 0,1 cm. Benih ikan gurami tersebut dipelihara dalam akuarium dengan volume air 72 liter, padat tebar 10 ekor/wadah dan dipelihara selama 60 hari. Setiap akuarium di setting resirkulasi dan heater. Parameter yang diamati adalah histologi usus, sintasan, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (PBM), pertumbuhan panjang mutlak (PPM), laju pertumbuhan harian (LPH), dan rasio konversi pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan arang aktif tulang ikan kambing-kambing dalam pakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan bobot, pertumbuhan panjang, laju pertumbuhan harian (P<0,05). Penambahan arang aktif 2% dalam pakan (T2) merupakan perlakuan terbaik terhadap ikan gurami dengan nilai pertumbuhan bobot 14,6 ± 0,3 g; pertumbuhan panjang 9,31 ± 0,1 cm; dan SGR 1,38 ±0%/hari. Sedangkan untuk panjang dan lebar vili usus pada perlakuan penambahan arang aktif 2% lebih kecil dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.One of the development bottlenecks of gouramy farming is its relatively slow growth during rearing. One of the solutions to make the gourami farming economically feasible is shortening the fish culture period via improving its growth. Activated charcoal is a feed supplement that can be added to fish feed. Starry triggerfish fish bone waste is the potential to be processed as activated charcoal for the feed supplement. This study aimed to determine the optimal dose of addition of activated charcoal of starry triggerfish (ACST) fish bone in the feed to increase the growth of gouramy fish. The research design used was a completely randomized design with four treatments and two replications. The treatment consisted of different supplementation doses of activated charcoal in the feed. The treatments included 0% ACST (T0), 1% ACST (T1), 2% ACST (T2), 3% ACST (T3). The fish used were 2.2 ± 0.1 g in weight and 5.3 ± 0.1 cm in length. The gourami seeds were maintained in aquariums (each volumed 72 liters) with stocking density of 10 fish/aquarium and reared for 60 days. Each aquarium was equipped with a recirculation and heater systems. The parameters observed were intestinal histology, weight gain (WG), length gain (LG), specific growth rate (SGR), survival rate (SR), and feed conversion ratio (FCR). The results showed that the supplementation of ACST in the feed had significant effects on WG, LG, and SGR (P<0.05). The supplementation with 2% ACST in the feed was the best treatment for the growth performance of gouramy fish resulting in WG, LG, and SGR in 14.6 ± 0.3 g, 9.31 ± 0.1 cm, and 2.40 ± 0% per day, respectively. Meanwhile, supplementation of 2% ACTS in the diet resulted smaller of length and width of intestinal villi of gouramy than to the other treatments.

Abstract

The majority of people work as fishermen and their geographical location on the coast make Gampong Alue Naga produce quite a lot of fishery waste, especially oyster shells. Its use will have many good impacts on people's lives because in addition to reducing waste that interferes with the environment, the use of oyster shells can also reduce costs for animal feed and provide additional income for families. The target of this activity is fishermen housewives who generally also work as oyster seekers, so that they have no trouble finding raw materials and the waste they produce can be used immediately. The results of this activity are considered very satisfactory because the participants of the activity can understand the process of processing oyster shells, understand the use of the grit flour produced and directly utilize the grit flour product as animal feed.

Abstract

Hati merupakan organ yang berperan dalam keberlangsungan proses metabolisme dalam tubuh, organ ini berfungsi mendetoksifikasi, sintesis protein, dan produksi bahan kimia yang membantu mencerna makanan. Salah satu masalah dalam keberlangsungan proses metabolisme adalah kerusakan organ hati. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya kerusakan hati adalah dengan penambahan suplemen pada pakan. Suplemen yang dapat diberikan adalah arang aktif. Arang aktif memiliki kemampuan daya serap yang tinggi sehingga diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan proses menyerap nutrisi oleh ikan. Salah satu sumber arang aktif yang dapat digunakan adalah tulang ikan, tulang ikan yang dapat digunakan adalah tulang ikan kambing-kambing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah penambahan arang aktif tulang ikan kambing-kambing berpengaruh terhadap hitopatologi hati ikan gurami. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan disajikan dalam bentuk gambar. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Fakultas Perikanan Universitas Abulyatama Aceh. Pengujian histopatologi sampel awal dilakukan di Laboratorium BBAP Ujung Batee dan pengujian histopatologi sampel akhir penelitian dilakukan di Central Pet. yang dimulai   7 Januari – 7 Maret 2021. Parameter uji adalah gambaran histopatologi hati ikan gurami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan arang aktif tulang ikan kambing-kambing pada pakan pada perlakuan tanpa pemberian arang aktif 0% (A) telah terjadi kerusakan seperti hemoragi dan karioreksis, pada perlakuan penambahan arang aktif 1% (B) dan penambahan arang aktif 2% (C) telah terjadi kerusakan seperti hemoragi, karioreksis dan degenerasi hidropik, sedangkan pada perlakuan penambahan arang aktif 3% (D) terdapat kerusakan seperti hemoragi dan degenerasi hidropik

Abstract

Pulau Banyak and Pulo Aceh have quite promising potential in the field of fisheries, especially lobster cultivation. In every fishery business activity, the thing that cannot be separated is the process of income analysis. This research was carried out in Ujong Gle Village, Pulo Aceh District, Aceh Besar District and Pulau Bagak Village, Pulau Banyak District. The purpose of this study was to determine the income of lobster business in Pulau Banyak and Pulo Aceh as well as marketing channels. The cost analysis used is fixed cost analysis, variable cost analysis, income analysis and profit analysis. The research method used is a case study. The results showed that the total income earned by lobster entrepreneurs was Rp. 79.150.000. The monthly income of lobster entrepreneurs in Pulau Banyak is Rp. 19,787,500 and Pulo Aceh is Rp. 39,083,300, marketing channels in Pulau Banyak are Medan - Jakarta and Pulo Aceh - Jakarta. The percentage change in lobster prices in Pulau Banyak occurs at the level of bench toke to exporters, the highest percentage change in prices found in sand lobster, which reaches 800%.

Abstract

Aceh has a large potential for inland public water resources. One of the important inland waters is Krueng Aceh, Krueng Aceh is a river located in Aceh Province that originates at Cot Seukek, Aceh Besar District, passes through the city center (Peunayong) and empties into Lampulo, Banda Aceh City. The diversity of invasive fish in the inland waters of Krueng Aceh was carried out with the aim of identifying the types of invasive fish and to determine the diversity of invasive fish in the waters of Krueng Aceh as basic data in the management of inland common water resources. The research used a purposive sampling technique at sample points taken at 4 (four) points on the mainland of Krueng Aceh. Station 1 is located in Aneuk Galong Village, Station 2 is located in Bakoy Village, Station 3 is located in Pango Raya Village, Station 4 is located in Peunayong Village. The research results show that there are 9 types of fish in the public waters of the Krueng Aceh mainland which are dominated by baung fish. The station with the highest diversity results is station III located in Pango Raya which uses 4 types of fishing gear commonly used in the public waters of the Krueng Aceh mainland and gill net fishing gear is the most effective fishing gear used.
