Abstract

The current measurement process in posyandu generally done manually, i.e. when the user arrives, measurement will be taken then the data stored manually on paper. This system is considered inefficient because it’s need a long time, causing long queues and possibility of stacked data storage. From several problems indications that have been found, it’s necessary to develop a system that makes posyandu and midwives work quickly and accurately. Therefore, it’s necessary to develop technology that aims to create new system. This study uses Arduino as microcontroller and raspberry pi as server, there's node, inside the node there's an ultrasonic sensor to determine height, then load cell sensor to determine the user's weight. Data will be sent from Arduino Uno to NRF, on server there's NRF24L01, the server used a raspberry pi 3. The client server communication technique is designed for communication between nodes and servers so that data transmission errors are smaller. Based on  test results, it’s known that RFID has maximum detection distance limit of 3cm with a maximum detection delay of 2.9s. In medical e-record system, the load cell sensor has an error deviation of 3.48% and the ultrasonic sensor is 1.129%. The data can be displayed on the application includes the toddler's name, weight and height. Based on the test results, it‘s known that the accuracy of data communication has the best packet loss value of 0%, the worst packet loss value is 0.18%, the best delay value is 0.1s and the worst delay value is 4.1s.

Abstract

In this study, customers had to queue in order to get their turn for laundry. So that users need a long time so it is less time efficient. This self-service laundry has a washing schedule booking service through the website making it easier for laundry service users without the need to queue. The method used in this study is an application for ordering laundry schedules via the website and an RFID tag as a card to access self-service laundry services. First, the user registers with customer service to get an RFID tag in the form of a smart card containing the user's identity and balance so that they can operate the washing machine. This research measures the accuracy of the weight sensor, the accuracy of the RFID distance, and the communication system between hardware and software. In the test results, the accuracy of the weight sensor obtained an error percentage of 0.28% to 1.69%. In testing the accuracy of the RFID distance, the reading of the RFID tag with a reader was obtained from a distance of 0 cm to 3 cm. In testing QoS (Quality of Service) using parameters delay, packet loss and throughput. In the delay test, the test results obtained are 0.057ms to 15.426ms. In the packet loss test it was obtained 0%. Whereas in the throughput test, the results obtained are around 0.337 Kbps to 6,758 Kbps.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the selection of the DVB-T2 parameter value on system performance. The parameters used are the parameters of Bandwidth, FFT size, Guard Interval, and Modulation Technique. The parameter values ??used are in accordance with those recommended by the ITU. System performance is observed by performing calculations and simulations. The simulation is carried out with the help of MATLAB software. The results of the simulation are observed with BER and SNR values ??to see the effect of fft size, Guard Interval and modulation techniques, while the effect of bandwidth values ??is observed by performing calculations. The results obtained show that the 10 MHz bandwidth has the largest channel capacity value with an increase of 25% from the 8MHz bandwidth value. Simulations carried out at the FFT size show that it does not have much effect on the performance of the DVB-T2 system. In the simulation, the Guard Interval value shows that the use of the Guard Interval value does not really affect the BER and SNR values, while the calculation of the effect of the Guard Interval on the maximum transmission distance in SFN mode shows that the maximum distance is generated with a Guard Interval value of 19/128 with an FFT value of 32K. with a distance of 159.5 Km. In the simulation of the modulation technique, the results show that QPSK has the best BER resistance compared to other modulation techniques, this is also in line with the results of the calculations.

Abstract

Voice chat application is an application designed to replace the HT function on an Android smartphone. Besides being able to make voice calls, this application can be used to communicate with text. This application does not require cellular networks to communicate, simply by connecting to a network provided by an existing access point. The applications can be used without using a cellular network, when making an application requires a socket. Socket is an API that exists on Android studio software. While socket programming is a way to use socket components to create an application, one of which is a voice chat application. After being installed in android smartphones, each smartphone is connected to a network provided by an existing access point so that it can communicate by voice or text. Communication is carried out between smartphones with one another point to point. The test results can be concluded that this application can be used to communicate with voice and text, as long as the user is on the same network. This application can be used in all types of Android mobile phones for voice communication but communication with text can only be used on certain mobile brands.

Abstract

Cicadas are a unique type of insect, have a distinctive sound and are active at night, Cicadas are widely cultivated by the community because they can support the community's economy both for pet feed, animal feed mixtures, food additives to cosmetic mixtures. Aspects that need to be considered in the cultivation of Cicadas, namely environmental factors that affect the life and growth of Cicadas daily are from sources of nutrition, temperature and humidity. DHT22 and RTC sensors to measure temperature and humidity in the cricket cage and RTC to detect time. The sensor data input will be processed by ESP32 which is a System on Chip with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then detected by Fuzzy Logic to determine the activation output and when the Cicadas are harvested will be sent via the telegram application. The results of the system design for control and monitoring have been successfully implemented in the cricket cage based on temperature, humidity and time. The system can send output notifications and responses in accordance with predetermined conditions with the telegram application and data storage on the website. Testing the accuracy of the sensor gets a fairly accurate presentation of accuracy, that is, on average the percentage accuracy of temperature gets 98% and at humidity it gets a value of 97%, and Testing the results of the percentage of accuracy on the system and fuzzy simulation using telegram and matlab applications gets a percentage value 31.66% accuracy.

Abstract

Due to the length of the plant area on the road, usually many plants witheror are damaged due to uncontrolled watering. Watering staff on the street usually water the plants periodically. Watering the road plants sometimes causes small congestion and there are parts of the plants that are not watered because it is done manually.The purpose of this research is to create a design of road plant wateringcontrol system humidity-based using a soil moisture sensor, nodeMCU, relaymodule, voltage regulator, and dynamo sprayer. The results of the performance of this device are influenced by the time of the watering schedule and the soil moisture content of the plants.  The results of the design and testing of the tool obtained an automatic plant watering system design and can monitor plant soil moisture with the Thingspeak platform via a web browser. Watering will be done automatically when the time of the watering schedule is entered and the soil moisture is dry. The resultsof the soil sensor readings on soil moisture form an ADC value range of 500 - 900 when the sensor is wet, while 901 - 1023 when the sensor is dry. The delay value for sending data from the soil moisture monitoring system is 0.473 ms at node 1, 0.433 ms at node 2, and 0.245 at node 3. Where the delay value for each node is categorized as good (0 - 150 ms) according to ITUT standards.

Abstract

Ginger is a type of spice that is widely used traditionally as a medicine. The content of essential oils and oleoresin in ginger has antibacterial activity. Today many foods and drinks are offered as supplement products that can improve body health if consumed. Health drinks are drinks that contain elements of nutrients or non-nutrients and if consumed can have a positive influence on body health. Health drinks as one of the products that are well known to the public, are often found on the market with various brands and forms, such as liquid, instant powder or tablets. This activity aims to provide alternative skills for PKK RT mothers. 12 - RW. 03 Mulyorejo Village, Sukun District, Malang City, can develop entrepreneurship in products made from ginger. Each participant of this activity knows how to use ginger for making instant drinks and brings the results of training in the form of instant ginger. The community service activities that have been carried out have provided many benefits, especially adding broader insights in understanding the concept of food business development, especially in the use of ginger and applying the theory of extraction and crystallization in the manufacture of instant drinks. This community service activity can be used as a new opportunity to develop entrepreneurship..

Abstract

File transfer technology is now beginning to develop rapidly, many researchers have begun to develop file transfer methods, now file transfer is present in daily life in various ways. For example, in human life there are many more uses of flash memory for the process of moving files. This makes it risky to get a virus from another computer or laptop that results in file loss. In this study, we are developing a file transfer that can simultaneously manage the user to apply file version control so that the file is still written to the repository and has its own version of each uploaded file. It is hoped that implementing a version control system will help students keep all files in the repository they are working on and make changes to each file. It is expected that this study will help provide an alternative to assessment by each faculty member and may speed up and facilitate decisions related to student assessment at Malang State Polytechnic Institute. The results of this study show that the file transfer QoS on the polynema network has a packet loss value of 0%, latency of 0.672ms (download) and 0.447ms (upload), and a throughput of 330 kbps (download), 544.50 (upload)

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menguji kinerja perangkat pelarut tembaga skala kecil untuk digunakan di labotarium elektronika. Bahan kimia ferri clorida 40 % 1500 ml digunakan sebagai bahan pelarut dasar, perangkat ini digunakan untuk menghapus atau menghilangkan sebagian lapisan tembaga yang tidak diperlukan pada rangkaian di Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Sebuah kamera digunakan sebagai sensor kepekatan larutan yang telah digunakan untuk menghapus lapisan tembaga. Data sensor diproses dengan menggunakan Raspberry Pi yang digunakan sebagai pembanding perhitungan kepekatan larutan secara manual dan data dikirimkan ke aplikasi android. Metoda pengalamatan warna Red, Green, dan Blue (RGB) digunakan untuk menentukan kadar tembaga berdasarkan warna yang ditangkap kamera. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan kamera mengidentifikasi warna untuk kadar tembaga dalam laruran mulai dari 0% sampai dengan 0,121 % dan waktu yang diperlukan untuk melarutkan tembaga mencapai 45 menit yang akan digunakan acuan untuk menentukan larutan sudah jenuh. Hasil pengolahan data menghasilkan tampilan kejenuhan dari 30% sampai dengan 100%, artinya perubahan warna untuk kadar laruran kurang dari 0,02% tidak dapat diidentifikasi demikian juga untuk diatas 0,121%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpukan perangkat ini hanya mampu mendeteksi kadar tembaga dalam pelarut diatas 0.02% hingga maksimum 0,121%. Abstract This research tested the performance of a small-scale copper solvent device for use in an electronics laboratory. The chemical ferric chloride 40 % 1500 ml is used as a primary solvent. This device removes or partially removes the copper layer that is not needed on the circuit on the Printed Circuit Board (PCB). A camera is used as a sensor for the concentration of a solution used to remove the copper layer. Sensor data is processed using a Raspberry Pi, which compares the attention of the solution manually and the data sent to the Android application. The Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) colour addressing method is used to determine the copper content based on the colour captured by the camera. The test results show the camera identifies the colour for the copper content in the solution ranging from 0% to 0.121%. The time required to dissolve the copper reaches 45 minutes, which will be used as a reference to determine whether the solution is saturated. The data processing results produce a saturation display from 30% to 100%, meaning that the colour change for a solution content of less than 0.02% cannot be identified as well as for those above 0.121%. Thus, it can be concluded that this device can only detect copper levels in solvents above 0.02% up to a maximum of 0.121%.

Abstract

Ikan tergolong bahan pangan yang cepat mengalami pembusukan dibandingkan dengan jenis makanan lain akibat bakteri dan perubahan kimiawi. Karena ikan tergolong bahan pangan mudah busuk, perlu dilakukan penanganan dan pengolahan hasil perikanan secara baik. Salah satu proses pengolahannya adalah menjadi nugget ikan. Salah satu tahapan penting dalam pembuatan nugget ikan adalah penggorengan yang membuat produk pangan lebih lezat, prosesnya cepat, dan menjaga produk pangan lebih baik. Contoh teknologi penggorengan adalah deep fat frying yang merupakan proses di mana produk makanan dipanaskan dan dikeringkan dengan merendamnya di dalam minyak goreng, umumnya pada suhu 170-190 derajat C, sebagai penghantar panas selama periode waktu tertentu. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah: 1. Rancang bangun alat deep fat frying suhu terkontrol dilengkapi dengan automatic fish floss, 2. Analisis kadar air produk nugget ikan laut, 3. Analisis kadar minyak produk nugget ikan laut, dan 4. Uji organoleptik produk nugget ikan. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan penelitian ini adalah 1. dihasilkannya alat deep fat frying yang akan diterapkan pada produksi nugget ikan, dan 2. didapatkannya suatu formulasi tepat dalam pembuatan nugget ikan laut berdasarkan parameter input yang telah ditentukan.
