Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of marketing strategies andsalesman behaviouron customer retention. Seventy-five respondents were involvedin this study. The analytical method used to test hypotheses is partial least square. We find that marketing strategies and salesman behavior influence customer retention. Price and promotion are essential aspects of the marketing mix. Ethical behavior and establishing closeness with customers is a dominant aspect of salesman behavior. The novelty in this study is that this research was conducted in the Hajj and Umrah travel industries and emphasizedon salesman behavior.AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh strategi pemasaran dan perilaku salesman terhadap customer retention. Sebanyak 75 responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah partial least square. Kami temukan bahwa strategi pemasaran dan perilaku salesman berpengaruh pada customer retention. Harga dan promosi merupakan aspek bauran pemasaran yang penting. Perilaku yang baik dan menjalin kedekatan dengan pelanggan merupakan aspek dominan dari salesman behavior. Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah meneliti industri travel haji dan umroh serta menekankan pada perilaku salesman.

Abstract

Ecotourism is a form of tourism that is closely linked to the principle of conservation. Thus, ecotourism is right and beneficial in maintaining the integrity and authenticity of ecosystems in natural areas, particularly turtle conservation areas. Ecotourism is synergized to turtle conservation as it has such features: (1) Conservation, the use of biodiversity does not damage the natural source, also it does not cause negative impact whereas it is very environmentally friendly, (2) Education, by improving community’s awareness and changing their behavior about the need for conservation of living natural resources and their conservation, (3) Economy, ecotourism provides economic benefits and spur regional development; and (4) Active role of community, this is done by building partnership with local communities for the development of ecotourism. Based on the issues, “IbW Conservation and Ecotourism Ngadirojo  District Pacitan Region” was done by (1) Making a model of tourism activities that is environmentally, ecologically, socially, and economically beneficial to local communities and to the sustainability of natural resources, (2) Assessing the object of tourist attraction in flora and fauna conservation areas, in this case sea turtles and their ecosystems, so that can synergize with ecotourism activities, and (3) Making a model of local community-based tourist institution. The method implemented to achieve the objectives was “Community Empowerment through Ecotourism” which is described as follow: (1) Land Conservation, value and travel product, (2) Creation of an ecotourism atmosphere that all people who live in the area will gain the benefit, (3) The development of tourism activities that carry the excellence of the physical, economic, socio-cultural aspects of the local, (4) The solid image of ecotourism activities in the region that is supported by the readiness of all stakeholders, and (5) Integration of turtle theme conservation and ecotourism area with other supporting tourism products in the Regency. Pacitan Construction of facilities that have been carried out are: (1) developing the forest of eternity, (2) ecological restoration of coastal forests, (3) making sea water wells for turtle ponds, (4) nursery of coastal forest vegetation, (5) construction of marine biota ponds and sanitation facilities, (6) construction of shelters and gazebos, (7) construction of parking lot, and (8) widening of the ecotourism ring road. The next stage plans are: (1) ecotourism community empowerment, (2) strengthening the ecotourism area, and (3) revitalization of marine biota ponds.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The existence of technological advances in online transportation provides benefits to the community, and especially for the culinary industry; consumers no longer have to go to restaurants to buy food; it can be ordered through the Gojek application. The Gojek application makes it easy for people to buy food online. Various items of information about the restaurant are provided by Gojek’s online transportation service application. Background Problems: The government's appeal regarding COVID-19 requires people to stay at home, to support social distancing. Many activities must now be carried out at home, including eating. Along with the technological developments, people do not need to worry about staying at home because everything can be done from the home, with the GoFood application's support. Novelty: This study aims to determine and prove the effect of information quality on experience quality and customer perceived value, as well as satisfaction, from using the GoFood application in Malang City. This research is an update of the information gathered previously during the pandemic, which can be used as a reference for determining marketing strategies. Research Methods: This type of research is explanatory research through a quantitative approach, by conducting a direct survey of the application’s users, by using an online questionnaire. The research sample consists of 380 respondents. The sampling technique of this study was purposive sampling with the criteria that the Gojek application’s users had made purchases the application at least one times, and were aged 18 years and over, so the perceptions given would be quite clear and independent. Finding/Results: The results show that information quality has a positive and significant effect on experience quality, customer perceived value and customer satisfaction; experience quality has a positive and significant effect on customer perceived value; and customer perceived value has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Conclusion: This study reveals that the quality of the experience has a positive but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction. The result is a new finding from this study because there are differences in the previous studies' relationships between the variables. This study contributes that the stay-at-home appeal could increase the use of online applications to carry out activities.

Abstract

The goal of the local government is to provide some assistance to the villagers to stimulate the community to actively  participate in local  potential-based development. Therefore,  BUMDes in  an effort to strengthen the village economy based on the needs and potential of villages  (agriculture), in order to increase the income and  welfare of the villagers.   The establishment of village-owned enterprises has several legal foundations that are the basis and reference in all its activities. The establishment of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) is based on Law No. 32 of 2004 on Local Government and Government Regulation No. 72 of 2005 on Village Article 78. BUMDeS managers hold the key to success in its operationalization, therefore management training for BUMDeS managers supported by the PKK is urgently needed to improve the welfare of the villagers. This needs to be mastered by the managers of BUMDeS and PKK in order to manage their organizations through good planning, organizing, direction and supervision so that the organization's objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Sebagai warisan budaya, hampir seluruh daerah di Indonesia memiliki batik dengan motif tertentu yang menjadi ciri khas daerah tersebut, salah satunya yaitu batik Probolinggo. Kota Probolinggo memiliki beberapa corak dan motif batik diantaranya adalah motif batik manggur. Batik adalah gambar yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan alat canting atau sejenisnya dengan bahan lilin sebagai penahan masuknya warna yang dikuaskan pada kain. Bahan lilin dipanaskan dengan suhu tertentu dengan alat berupa wajan kecil dan kompor, dikerjakan secara manual. Dengan cara ini tentunya pekerjaan membatik menjadi kurang efektif dan efisien yang akan mempengaruhi kualitas batik yang dihasilkan. Sehingga diperlukan inovasi teknologi pada kompor pemanasan lilin dengan pengaturan suhu. Maka dari itu dibuat canting listrik yang otomatis untuk memudahkan pengrajinbatik untuk menjaga kestabilan suhu demi menjaga kualitas lelehan malam yang sesuai dengan asumsi para pengerajin batik. Pada penelitian ini dijelaskan bagaimana membuat sistem kontrol pengatur kestabilan suhu pada lilin malambatik dengan pengaturan otomatis pada canting elektrik yang saat ini pengaturan pemanasnya masih menggunakan asumsi pengerajin batik itu sendiri. Sistem kontrol disini memiliki fungsi untuk menjaga kestabilan suhu pada lilin atau malam batik agar sesuai dengan yang diharapkan kelelehan lilin malamnya, proses kontrolnya menggunakan metode PI (Proposional Integral).Dari hasil pengujian dapat dianalisa bahwa respon suhu berpengaruh terhadap hasil kelelehan lilin malam pada proses membatik. Dibandingkan antara dua kondisi dimana proses pelelehan tanpa menggunakan kontrol dan dengan proses yang menggunakan kontrol dimana kedua proses ini di beri masukan setpoint sebesar 60 oC, didapat hasil bahwa pada kondisi pengaturan dengan kontroler hasil pelelehan lebih baik tingkat keencerannya dengan waktu pelelehan yang lebih cepat. Kontroller PI mampu mempertahankan suhu dengan baik. Dengan metode Ziegler-Nichols didapatkan nilai konstanta P-I yang baik untuk alat pengontrol suhu lilin malam ini yaitu: nilai Kp=5.33, Ki=0.757 menghasilkan respon transien kecepatan suhu terhadap waktu dengan rise time, settling time yang cukup cepat dan cukup stabil walaupun masih terdapat overshoot 3% dan error steady statesebesar 21.28 %.

Abstract

The objective of this community services is to design strategy of health tourism which combines economic, social, and ecological values in tourism development at Giliyang Island - subdistrict Dungkek, Sumenep regency. The problem that faced to achieve the objective are the weakness of institutions and human resources. The methodology used in this activity are focus group discussion (FGD) and stakeholder need analysis (SNA) and system approach that develop from questioners and deep interviews with all stakeholders. The result of community services are (1) empowerment tourism  awarness  group of Sora Laksana, (2) practice and training of a appropriate technology, and (3) conservation of mangrove and coast forest. Impact of the activities show that such as preservation, conservation, and tourist satisfaction indicate positive value. Meanwhile impact on local economy and community empowerment have not been shown positive value. These phenomenous happen because the tourism zone still under development. Therefore there is need a strategic strategy to achieve sustainable development of health tourism. ABSTRAKTujuan yang hendak dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk merancang strategi pengembangan wisata kesehatan yang mengombinasikan aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan ekologi dalam pengembangan kepariwisataan di Pulau Giliyang, Kecamatan Dungkek, Kabupaten Sumenep. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, masalah yang nampak adalah lemahnya institusi pariwisata dan sumberdaya manusia. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melalui diskusi kelompok fokus, analisis kebutuhan seluruh pemangku kepentingan, dan mengembangkan pendekatan sistem melalui wawancara mendalam dengan semua pemangku kepentingan. Hasil  kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah (1) pemberdayaan kelompok sadar wisata - Pokdarwis Sora Laksana, (2) penerapan dan pelatihan teknologi tepat guna, dan (3) konservasi hutan mangrove dan hutan pantai. Dampak kegiatan seperti konservasi, pemeliharaan, dan kenyamanan pengunjung menunjukkan nilai positif. Sedangkan pengaruh terhadap perekonomian lokal dan pemberdayaan masyarakat belum menunjukkan nilai positif. Hal ini terjadi karena zonasi wisata masih baru. Sehingga masih dibutuhkan cara yang strategis untuk mencapai pengembangan pariwisata kesehatan yang berkelanjutan.Kata kunci : wisata kesehatan, daya dukung, tata ruang, wisata berkelanjutan,

Abstract

Ketahanan ekonomi merupakan salah satu program yang gencar digaungkan pemerintah saat ini, terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan ketahanan ekonomi masyarakat adalah melalui budidaya lele. Beberapa faktor pertimbangan dan pemilihan budidaya lele adalah lele merupakan salah satu jenis ikan yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat, mudah pemeliharaannya dan mempunyai daya tahan yang baik. Banyak cara budidaya lele salah satunya adalah dengan teknik bioflok. Teknik ini dapat meningkatkan keuntungan karena kebutuhan pakan lebih sedikit dan dapat dipelihara secara padat tebar. Kegiatan ini mencakup pembuatan kolam terpal dengan dimensi 1,5m x 2m x 0,6m sebanyak dua buah dan pelatihan budidaya lele. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) meningkatnya keterampilan mitra dalam budidaya lele; 2) hasil produksi yang baik, ditandai efisiensi pakan dengan Food Convertion Ratio (FCR) = 0,73; 3), estimasi pendapatan Rp. 333.571 dengan jumlah lele yang dipelihara sebanyak 3.000 ekor.

Abstract

Ikan tergolong bahan pangan yang cepat mengalami pembusukan dibandingkan dengan jenis makanan lain akibat bakteri dan perubahan kimiawi. Karena ikan tergolong bahan pangan mudah busuk, perlu dilakukan penanganan dan pengolahan hasil perikanan secara baik. Salah satu proses pengolahannya adalah menjadi nugget ikan. Salah satu tahapan penting dalam pembuatan nugget ikan adalah penggorengan yang membuat produk pangan lebih lezat, prosesnya cepat, dan menjaga produk pangan lebih baik. Contoh teknologi penggorengan adalah deep fat frying yang merupakan proses di mana produk makanan dipanaskan dan dikeringkan dengan merendamnya di dalam minyak goreng, umumnya pada suhu 170-190 derajat C, sebagai penghantar panas selama periode waktu tertentu. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah: 1. Rancang bangun alat deep fat frying suhu terkontrol dilengkapi dengan automatic fish floss, 2. Analisis kadar air produk nugget ikan laut, 3. Analisis kadar minyak produk nugget ikan laut, dan 4. Uji organoleptik produk nugget ikan. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan penelitian ini adalah 1. dihasilkannya alat deep fat frying yang akan diterapkan pada produksi nugget ikan, dan 2. didapatkannya suatu formulasi tepat dalam pembuatan nugget ikan laut berdasarkan parameter input yang telah ditentukan.
