Abstract

The line of sight (LOS) microwave communication system, especially those operating at frequencies above 10 GHz, is very susceptible to rain attenuation, particularly in tropical countries such as Indonesia. Therefore, it is essential to calculate rain attenuation estimation values as a basis for consideration in designing a line of sight microwave communication system to get stable communication. In this study, telemetering was designed to measure the rainfall intensity from a rain gauge device through a 433 MHz wireless transceiver. Measurement of rainfall intensity values via an Arduino-controlled rain gauge was transmitted directly to the monitoring room, which then processed to be displayed in graphical form in real time and can also be stored as data loggers. The rainfall telemetering device users can measure rainfall remotely and without having to wait for the rain like the rainfall manual measurement.

Abstract

Majelis taklim merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan non formal yang memiliki kontribusi besar dalam mengembangan dan pembinaan ilmu agama Islam. Majelis taklim di Indonesia sudah berkembang pesat dalam masyarakat, mulai dari anggotanya yang sedikit hingga yang anggotanya mencapai ribuan. Salah satu majelis taklim yang turut andil di Kecamatan Kedung Kandang adalah Majelis Taklim Al-Qur’an “Tsamrotul Iman”. Kegiatan rutin majelis taklim meliputi pengajian mingguan, perayaan hari besar keagamaan, maupun khatmil Al-Qur’an membutuhkan perangkat audio yang baik. selama ini, perakitan dan operasional sistem audio tersebut masih dibantu oleh pihak luar, bukan dari anggota majelis taklim. Akibatnya, terjadi ketergantungan dengan pihak luar yang menambah biaya operasional majelis. Pada pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pelatihan perakitan dan operasional sistem audio pada Majelis Taklim Al-Qur’an Tsamrotul Iman, Kecamatan Kedung Kandang, Kota Malang. Adanya pelatihan dan penataan sistem tata suara ini meningkatkan kualitas suara yang dihasilkan sehingga menambah kenyamanan anggota dalam melakukan kegiatan rutin.

Abstract

A freezer box temperature monitoring system using solar panels as alternative power is an important technology to ensure the quality of stored products. This research develops a WiFi-based temperature monitoring system that uses a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a PZEM-004T digital sensor, and an ESP8266 module to read and send real-time data to a website platform. Data is collected through a temperature sensor connected to the ESP8266 microcontroller, then displayed on the LCD screen and uploaded to the server for further monitoring via WiFi connection. The results show that this system successfully maintains the freezer box temperature at optimal conditions with an average temperature value of -24.82°C and a temperature range ranging from -28.81°C to -19.63°C. The voltage values are in the range of 197.10 V - 218.70 V, current between 0.02 A - 1.03 A, and power between 158 W - 186.80 W.
