Abstract

Strengthening Tourism Awareness Characters for the Community of Kamarang Village, Greged District, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province through Tourism Awareness Training Activities. Kamarang Village is located in Greged Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province, the main problems faced by Kamarang Village since becoming a tourist village startup include: lack of public knowledge about the concept of tourism awareness, village tourism potential, infrastructure facilities supporting tourism that are less complete, and not optimal community participation in the management of tourist villages. Strategies that need to be done to overcome these problems one of them is through the strengthening of tourism awareness to the community. Training activities have been carried out in September 2021 to 25 residents of Kamarang Village who are tourism actors (such as: members of tourist conscious groups, community leaders, cultural figures, PKK mothers, and others). Activities are carried out by the delivery of tourism village development materials and tourism awareness. The purpose of this activity is to improve the conscious understanding of tourism for the community as well as increasing skills in the packaging of service products in tourist villages.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to prepare Pokdarwis in managing educational tourism (which includes: tour packages, interpretation media, and supporting tools such as modules and Student Worksheets). In addition, this program is expected to be able to provide debriefing and learning space for students who are interested in learning about destination management and creating educational tour packages. The results of this program include (1) Cisaat educational tour package; (2) 12 educational tourism interpretation media; (3) the module books and worksheets as supporting tools for educational tourism. At the end of the program, the evaluation results showed a positive response from all participants, both from the community, junior high school students, and UNJ students.

Abstract

Training and Assistance in Making Videos of the Potential of Eco-Agrotourism as a Virtual Tour Media The Community Service Integrated Real Work Lecture (PKM – KKN) activity held in Cisaat Village, Subang, aims to (1) provide an understanding of the concept of virtual tourism as an alternative new tourism product; (2) conducting training and assistance in making videos and simple editing techniques: (3) conducting training and mentoring on the use of Zoom as a virtual tourism support tool. The results of this mentoring activity include: (1) increasing public understanding of virtual tourism; (2) the implementation of training activities for making and editing simple videos (3) the implementation of training activities on the use of Zoom as a virtual tour support tool. At the end of the program, the evaluation results showed a positive response from all participants.
