Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to reconstruct the credit system by evaluating accounting information systems and conducting in-depth interviews. Design/methodology/approach – Informants were randomly selected from members, managers, and founders of Credit Union Sauan Sibarrung. Findings – Based on the results of interviews with informants from the Manager and Founder of the Sauan Sibarrung Credit Union, information was obtained that the SOP for granting credit at Sauan Sibarrung CU is now standard. It's just that we still must pay close attention to the growth in income and expenses of these members. Associated with the credit termination process Usually, credit termination at the Head Office level, which is authorized by the Deputy, General Manager, CU Sauan Sibarrung Credit Committee or Management, is not processed quickly due to incomplete files from members applying for credit. Abstract

This article aims to find the contribution of John Dewey’s thoughts on experiential learning for Christian education today. This study uses qualitative research with a content analysis method approach. Based on this method, it is found that the contribution of John Dewey’s thoughts on experiential learning for Christian education is learning that places the experience of students as the focus of learning both in theory and practice or direct experience that can be applied through social activities and service to the community so that understanding of religious values is reflected in real life where the intended experience is personal experience that they not only learn the concept of material or theory but at the same time become experience, but does not mean this learning only emphasizes the cognitive aspect because it still involves the affective and psychomotor aspects of student. Also provides wider opportunities for students to interact with each other and with teachers/educators and the environment.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan implikasi Teokrasi bagi orang percaya dalam mengatur waktu sebagai upaya melakukan kehendak Allah. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis content atau analisis isi dimana peneliti menganalisis berbagai literature/dokumen terkait teokrasi, implikasi dan penggunaan waktu orang percaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teokrasi berimplikasi terhadap orang percaya dalam mengatur waktu sebagai upaya melakukan kehendak Allah dimana orang percaya tunduk kepada Allah yang adalah penguasa hidup termasuk di dalamnya bagaimana mengatur waktu sebagai suatu bentuk ketaatan kepada Allah. Diharapkan penelitian ini memberi kontribusi dalam membangun iman orang percaya untuk tunduk pada otoritas Allah yang berdaulat.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menemukan integrasi theologi sistematika bagi pendidikan anak sekolah minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi integrative dan metode analisis isi. Berdasarkan metode kajian ini ditemukan bahwa integrasi theologi sistematika bagi pendidikan anak sekolah minggu memberikan landasan kerangka kerja yang koheren bagi pamahaman iman Kristen dengan menyusun berbagai topik teologis seperti Allah, manusia, dosa, keselamatan, eskatologi dan topik-topik lainnya ke dalam kurikulum Sekolah Minggu sehingga anak didik dapat memperoleh pandangan yang menyeluruh mengenai iman Kristen. Menolong guru sekolah minggu dalam mempersiapkan pengajaran yang efektif mengenai nilai-nilai kristiani sebagai fondasi pembentukan karakter anak serta mempersiapkan anak sebagai generasi penerus yang bertumbuh dalam iman dan pemahaman yang kokoh. Theologi sistematika bukan sekedar sebuah konsep abstrak tetapi juga relevan dalam pembentukan karakter dan pertumbuhan iman anak-anak Sekolah Minggu.

Abstract

Political activities in Indonesia are often marred by feuds and horizontal conflicts. This is caused by the misuse of religious identity for the benefit of various groups and political parties. This paper aims to reveal the importance of religious moderation in the frame of Christian theology applied in the context of politics in Indonesia, as well as identify political conflicts with religious backgrounds that are considered very dangerous and threaten the integrity of the nation. This research uses a qualitative method, namely library research with a Christian theology approach as its main reference, of course, literacy is relevant to the research problem. The results show various challenges of religious moderation in politics in Indonesia, the theological basis of religious moderation, and theological values in religious moderation.  In conclusion, applying religious moderation in a theological frame can avoid political conflicts with a religious background.Kegiatan berpolitik di Indonesia kerap kali dicederai oleh perseteruan dan konflik horizontal. Hal tersebut diakibatkan oleh penyalahgunaan identitas agama demi berbagai kepentingan kelompok maupun partai politik. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pentingnya moderasi beragama dalam bingkai teologi Kristen yang diterapkan di dalam konteks berpolitik di Indonesia, serta mengidentifikasi konflik politik yang berlatar belakang agama yang dinilai sangat berbahaya dan mengancam keutuhan bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yaitu library research dengan pendekatan systematic theology sebagai rujukan utamanya, tentunya literasi-literasi tersebut relevan dengan permasalahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai tantangan moderasi beragama dalam politik di Indonesia, Dasar teologis moderasi beragama, dan Nilai-nilai teologis dalam moderasi beragama. Kesimpulannya, dengan menerapkan moderasi beragama dalam bingkai teologis dapat menghindari konflik-konflik politik yang berlatar agama.

Abstract

The spirit of the Postmodern era is marked by progress in all areas of human life, both technology, science as well as in philosophy, theology and religion. Particulary in the world of theology, the influence of Postmodernism has had a devastating effect on the lives of both believers and the church. This article is a literature review using a reference book that contains discussion of theology, evangelicalism and the Postmodern era by applying descriptive methods. In conclusion, a healthy and consistent theology is a theology that is centered on God and its orientation is from God by God and for God as Paul says in Romans 11:36.

Abstract

This article examines the role of the church within the framework of the Missio Dei in responding to the crisis of human rights injustices in Indonesia, highlighting key issues such as the prevalence of discrimination, structural violence, and the weak protection of vulnerable groups. The purpose of this study is to explain the theological foundations while offering practical and applicable strategies that the church can implement in addressing these situations. The method employed is a literature study using a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that the church must carry out a prophetic role through the voice of prophecy, a pastoral role by accompanying victims, and an educative role through human rights education. In addition, the outlined practical strategies include public advocacy and policy engagement, empowerment programs for vulnerable groups through training, thematic liturgy and social education, as well as concrete solidarity through interfaith peace actions and the establishment of crisis centers for victims.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discover the use of the progressive-genetic method in the task of Old Testament Theology. This method is understood as the exposition or explanation of God’s Revelation as presented by the Bible, more specifically in the sense that Devine Revelation is centered on some covenant made by God with Noah, Abraham, Moses, and through Christ which all shows the organic existence of the Bible and biblical anatomy. In conclusion, in carrying out the task of Old Testament Theology, genetically progressive methodology can be used as a model in addition to other methodologies, which reveal God’s ever-evolving Revelation as revealed in the Bible that God gave or revealed to certain people named specifically by God self.

Abstract

This article aims to find the concept of service in Psalm 24: 1 as a theological basis for the context of environmental awareness education using research methods with the content analysis approach and literature study. The results showed that the earth and all of its contents belonged to God that contain strong ethical and pedagogical implications for believers in maintaining ecology. In this case the service is understood as a moral obligation but also as a form of participation of believers in carrying out God's mission towards the world. Christian stewardship affirms Divine ownership of creation, Stewardship as a Christian Ecological Ethic, stewardship encompasses social, spiritual, and ecological responsibilities. This article also proposes the integration of ecotheological values in the Christian education curriculum as one of the strategies to foster concern for the environment based on faith education, thus Christian education can become a transformative agent in building a culture of sustainable environmental awareness.
