Abstract

Currently, the ongoing teaching and learning process is still dominated by a conventional method and states that knowledge is a fact that must be memorized. Therefore, most of the situations in the classroom still focus on the teacher (teacher centered) as the main point of knowledge. Such a learning situation certainly does not involve students in developing problems. To develop an innovative and creative teaching and learning climate, it is very necessary to have a link between educational components such as teachers and students. So that the educational components can work together to create a conducive learning process, Problem Based Learning is the right choice, because students are required to get solutions to the problems they get in groups so that knowledge exchange can occur, either between students or teachers to students. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of model based learning in Islamic religious education so that the values of Islamic religious education can be applied in everyday life. The research method used in this study is descriptive research and uses a qualitative approach and then analyzed using phenomenology by drawing conclusions based on the data obtained and in accordance with the objectives of the study.

Abstract

Saat ini kemajuan industri secara tidak langsung telah menuntut masyarakat untuk bisa menghadapi segala tantangan yang ada pada saat ini khususnya pada dunia pendidikan. Pada era revolusi industri 4.0 lembaga pendidikan dituntut tangguh dalam melawati tantangan dan perubahan yang muncul di dalam kehidupan masyarakat untuk mengantisipasi dampak negatif dari kemajuan transformasi yang begitu cepat. Era revolusi 4.0 ditandai dengan pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi membuat terobosan yang luar biasa untuk masyarakat. Perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang telah terjadi mengakibatkan sebagian orang mengambil kesempatan dan mampu memanfaatkannya dengan baik. Bagi sebagian orang yang mampu mengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan melahirkan gagasan baru dan gagasan ini muncul untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat dalam berbagai bidang termasuk juga dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research atau studi kepustakaan yaitu mengkaji sumber data dengan rujukan buku-buku atau artikel, jurnal penelitian sebelumnya, dan tulisan ilmiah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan tema transformasi pendidikan agama islam: strategi dan adaptasi di revolusi industri 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pendidikan agama islam diharapkan mampu menggali kembali kapabilitas dalam mengenali segala potensi yang dimiliki, lalu membekalinya dengan keterampilan yang mudah dipahami sehingga mampu berinteraksi dengan era revolusi industri 4.0 dan juga bisa ikut andil dalam menggapai idealisme pada sasaran yang hendak dicapai.

Abstract

The research investigates the intersection of Qur'anic learning, eco-theology, and environmental transformation at the Biharul Ulum Agroecology pesantren (BUAP) in Bogor. Recognizing that environmental issues stem largely from human behavior, the study explores how perspectives derived from the holy book influence individuals. Employing moral theory and liberation theology, the research adopts a qualitative and ethnographic approach to reveal the impact of theology-based Al-Quran learning on environmental practices at pesantren. The findings illustrate that eco-theology-based learning has sparked a notable environmental transformation, shielding the community from ecological crises. This transformation unfolds through a multifaceted process: communal dialogues addressing local challenges, rigorous study of the Quran under the guidance of kyai (Islamic scholars), and subsequent environmental conservation initiatives spearheaded by pesantren. The amalgamation of religious teachings with practical actions has not only mitigated environmental crises but has also alleviated social challenges. BUAP serves as a catalyst for positive change and demonstrates the potential of Qur'anic learning to inspire environmentally conscious behavior. This research contributes to understanding the role of Islamic education in fostering eco-conscious attitudes and offers insights into the synergy between religious teachings and environmental stewardship for the betterment of society.
