Abstract

This paper demonstrates how the Islamic financial system has been shaped by, and come to reflect, broader socio-cultural, political and economic developments such as the 1997 economic crisis in Indonesia and increases in oil welfare from Middle Eastern countries. The paper argues that a complex system of socio-economic pressures and financial systems at the regional, national and transnational levels has enabled the regional governments to engage in Islamic financial system. The paper suggests that the involvement was driven by the capacity to distribute resources to large sections of the population through small business groups provided a useful mechanism for shoring up electoral support. It is also argues that the present of a robust Islamic banking system was vital to the regional governments attempts to source additional financial resources from the Islamic world that could be used to fund local development.Keywords:  Islamic Financial, Politics, Public Issue.

Abstract

This paper demonstrates how the Islamic education has been used to reflect social problems in the region. The paper argues that decadency and the use of drugs and other social problems has enabled the regional governments to engage in Islamic education. The paper suggests that the involvement was driven by the capacity to reduce fears of social problems in the society. It also argues that the other mechanism to solve social problems are overlooked as the paper presents availability of jobs concerning at customers’ satisfaction would overcome social problems.

Abstract

Judul penelitian yaitu dari Cadeko Ke Cadar: Studi Perubahan Gaya Muslimah Milenial Di Kota Manado. Kota Manado adalah kota mayoritas non-muslim, perempuan di Kota Manado terkenal dengan perempuan cantik dan modis, gaya modern dan lebih mengikuti gaya eropa. Tetapi belakang tahun terakhir terjadi perubahan terhadap gaya berpakaian terutama pada perempuan muslim generasi milenial, generasi milenial yang lahir pada tahun 2000’an kini lebih menggunakan berpakaian cadar pada dasarnya orang yang dalam lingkungan berbeda dari wilayah lain karena daerah tersebut lebih ke barat-baratan, sehingga faktor apa yang mempengaruhi generasi milenial menggunakan cadar, dan bagaimana generasi milenial bercadar berinteraksi dengan masyarakat yang lintas agama di Kota Manado. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan observasi, wawancara terhadap informan muslimah bercadar orang di Kota Manado. Sehingga hasil dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi adanya pemahaman ideologi beragama, prinsip diri untuk berubah, ingin melindungi diri dari laki-laki agar merasa aman karena tertutup dan dari pergaulan teman-teman muslim yang saling mengajak untuk bercadar. Adapun interaksi antara muslimah milenial bercadar dengan masyarakat ada batasan karena masih ada stigma negatif dari masyarakat terhadap muslimah bercadar, muslimah bercadar juga ada berinteraksi hanya pada teman sebaya atau kelompok organisasi dengan alasan takut salah pergaulan.
