Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe idiolects use of Thai language into Indonesian. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with content analysis techniques. The technique of collecting data uses interviewing techniques and note-taking techniques. The researcher observed and analyzed the results of data collection using the extralingual equivalent method, by examining the pronunciation (phonology) of students when speaking in good and correct Indonesian. The results of the study showed that Thai students in the pronunciation of everyday language using Indonesian were good enough. However, if viewed from a linguistic point of view, there are still errors in pronunciation and are still halting in saying words because they are influenced by the Thai dialect. The results of this study can be used as evaluations in second language learning especially foreign student learners.

Abstract

Critical thinking can manage the cognitive and emotional intelligence of students, based on this, free learning for educators and students is needed today. Especially in learning to write descriptive text through audio-visual media. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the application of independent learning through the use of audio-visual media in learning to write descriptive texts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is descriptive text through audio-visual media which is taught at the seventh grade junior high school level. To collect data used documentation and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques were selected, interpreted, and concluded. Test the validity of the data using member checks and validation of Indonesian language learning experts. The results showed that 1) audio-visual media can help educators and students in writing descriptive text learning activities in implementing the independent learning policy, 2) audio-visual media used in learning to write descriptive text has an effect on increasing educational values, inviting students to think critically. , as well as providing a meaningful experience, 3) audio-visual media can make it easier to write descriptive text directly through the information obtained, and 4) audio-visual media will not be boring for students because the material for writing descriptive text conveyed is very varied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the skills of writing persuasive essays in class X SMA 3 Tangerang City. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection techniques using tests. The data analysis technique starts from the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was an effect of using audio-visual media on the skills of writing persuasive essays in class X SMA 3 Tangerang City. This effect is shown from the comparison of the post-test value of the experimental class of 71.3 and that of the control class of 66.8. Then, from the results of the hypothesis test tcount of 4.59 > ttable of 2.00, then there is a significant difference in the final test results of students in the experimental class and students in the control class. This means that the experimental class students are more skilled at writing persuasive essays after the application of audiovisual media than students in the control class who do not use audiovisual media.

Abstract

Seni budaya memiliki kontribusi bagi pengembangan karakter generasi milenial melalui literasi seni budaya, salah satu bentuk literasi yang sedang gencar digalakkan oleh pemerintah, khususnya Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Salah satu faktor yang mendasari hal tersebut terjadi adalah manusia harus menjadi manusia yang berkarakter, baik karakter kebangsaan atau karakter cinta tanah air dengan cara mencintai warisan budaya nasional. Pengenalan budaya dan penanaman nilai-nilai luhur tersebut perlu ditanamkan dari generasi ke generasi, khususnya pada generasi milenial. Generasi milenial adalah generasi yang hidup di zaman kemajuan dan perkembangan teknologi yang cukup pesat, bahkan produk teknologi itu akan mengikuti gaya hidup generasi milenial. Itu berdampak pada pergeseran perilaku dan yang lebih parah dapat mengakibatkan gaya hidup yang berbahaya sehingga mampu merusak moral kaum milenial. Maka untuk mencegah hal itu terjadi, maka penanaman dan pengembangan karakter harus terus digagas dengan menerapkan upaya atau melaksanakan program yang dapat memperkuat karakter manusia seperti mendongeng dengan media boneka tangan sebagai bentuk kecintaan dan pelestarian warisan budaya serta bentuk kontribusi seni budaya dalam mengembangkan karakter generasi penerus bangsa. Kata Kunci      : Budaya,Karakter, Generasi milenial, Seni.
