Abstract

Background: Estimated fetal weight of which can be done by measuring the fundus uteri. Estimated fetal weight is of significant importance in the implementation of labor. The accuracy assessment of birth weight, will affect the accuracy of treatment delivery and the results that are expected to reduce mortality and morbidity in childbirth (Cuningham, 2006). Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of estimated fetal weight estimation formula Jonhson Tohsach with birthweight Methods: This study is analytic survey with comparative studies conducted on 153 women who will give birth to aterm pregnancy criteria, pregnant women do not have a disorders (preeclampsia, eclampsia, multiple pregnancy, cesarean). Estimated fetal weight was calculated using the formula Jonhson Tohsach calculation based on fundus height, decrease in the lowest part of the fetus. Results of calculation of estimated fetal weight compared with birth weight. Results: Difference between estimated fetal weight with birth weight is 3077 vs 3132. Statistical tests comparing the average estimated fetal weight with birth weight is not found significant differences with p value 0.0883 (> 0:05). Conclusions: Estimated of fetal weight using the formula Johnson Tohsach high accuracy. need to carefully examine with attention to conduct high-accuracy measurement and uterine fundus examination decreased fetal head

Abstract

One important effort that has been implemented by the Government of Indonesia to accelerate the reduction of MMR (Maternal Mortality Rate) and IMR (InfantMortality Rate) in Indonesia is narrowing the distance between health care services and community. Midwife graduates in choosing a job is influenced by the readiness of the knowledge and skills. Study aimed to investigate the perception of the relationship with the midwife profession workplace elections. This study uses survey research design cross sectional analytic approach. The respondents were Graduate Diploma of Midwifery a number of 115 people. Study results showed 59.1 % have a good perception, but only 21.7 % students who chose to work in the rural . Another variable results showed 51 % students motivation , 63.5 % with interest in accordance with the profession , 82.6 % expect an increase in financial , 74.8 % with good family support , and 93% expect an increase in career . The results of the bivariate analysis there was no significant association with the perception of the election work in the rural with a p value of 0.43 . The variables that most influence on the workplace is a career path variable ( B = 1.007 ). Good perception does not make students have a desire to work in the rural. Improvement of career path is the reason for choosing to work in the city.

Abstract

The high incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is up to almost 80%. The cause of action is needed early detection through examination visual inspection with acetic acid/pap smear as a precaution to handling this disease. Women have avoided early detection through pap smear due to a lack of knowledge. The study's purpose was to determine the effect of health education with the module and video testimonials on increasing knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the early detection of cervical cancer by pap smear in Community Health Centers District Cipayung. This study uses a Quasi Experiment with pretest-posttest design in two groups, consisting of groups with a module method and groups by watching testimonial videos. Data obtained from questionnaires for knowledge, attitude, and behavior. The total samples are 70. Each group is 35 respondents. The results showed in the module group, and there were differences in knowledge before and after health education (p-value 0,000) and behavior (0.029). There are differences in knowledge (p-value 0.046) and behavior (0,000). This study also shows differences in behavior after getting health education between modules and video testimonials (p-value 0.003). Education of respondents influences knowledge (p-value 0,000). Health education using video testimonials increases attitudes and behaviors towards the early detection of cervical cancer.

Abstract

During pregnancy, there are system changes that require adaptation, both physiological and psychological. With these changes, pregnant women must know and understand what they are experiencing, so they need health education during pregnancy and how to prepare for safe delivery. Mother class is a means of learning together about pregnant women's health, increasing knowledge, change attitudes and mothers' behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in health education with snowballing and brainstorming methods in pregnant women in the class to increase knowledge and attitudes about preparation for pregnancy and childbirth. This study's design was Quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design of two snowballing groups and a brainstorming group. The number of samples for each group of 30 pregnant women. Analysis with Chi-Square and T-Test. The study results showed significant differences in knowledge and attitudes on the snowballing method (p-value of 0.000) and the brainstorming method with a p-value of knowledge of 0.011 and attitude of 0.000. Health education using snowballing has a more substantial effect, especially on the attitudes of pregnant women.

Abstract

Background:Language ability is indicator for child development and will affect delays or damage to other systems because children's language skills also involve cognitive, motoric, psychological, emotional, and environmental abilities. Right stimulation can improve children's language development. Language stimulation can be done by the mother. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of maternal stimulation behavior on the language development of pre-school children. Methode: This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 50 people with sampling using total sampling technique. Data analysis was processed using chi-square. Results: The results showed the correlation between knowledge and children's language development (p = 0.002), attitude and language development (p = 0.003), behavior (p = 0.005). Conclusion: Based on this analysis, it was found that there is a correlation between mother's knowledge, attitudes and behavior with language development

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Keputihan merupakan masalah fisiologis yang sering dialami oleh perempuan. Pada saat keputihan, diharapkan perempuan memiliki perilaku hidup sehat untuk mencegah terjadinya keputihan patologis. Dari beberapa penelitian, didapatkan sebagian besar remaja memiliki perilaku yang kurang baik dalam pencegahan keputihan patologis. Pemberian pendidikan kesehatan merupakan upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya keputihan patologis. Tujuan: Bagaimana pendidikan kesehatan dapat mempengaruhi perilaku pencegahan keputihan patologis. Metode: Semi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test post-test, sampel 150 orang, terdiri dari kelompok intervensi pendidikan kesehatan media leaflet, pendidikan kesehatan media slide power point dan kelompok kontrol. Menggunakan data primer dan analisis univariat serta bivariat. Hasil: Pendidikan kesehatan media leaflet dan slide power point dapat meningkatkan perilaku remaja dalam mencegah keputihan patologis. Simpulan: pendidikan kesehatan dapat mempengaruhi perilaku pencegahan keputihan patologis.

Abstract

Adolescents experience successive hormonal, physical, psychological and social changes. Adolescents detach themselves emotionally from their parents to assume social roles. As many as 47.7% of teenagers often feel anxious, and 84% feel repeated feelings of anxiety. One of the anxieties that are handled is the physical changes during puberty. The results of this research on family support are still relatively low, namely 12%. Families are overprotective, lack attention, and feel confused about adolescent emotions. Objective: To determine the effect of e-books on knowledge, attitudes, mother's role and children's readiness to face puberty. Methods: The research design is quasi-experimental. They conducted research in March-September 2022 in the Malaka Jaya sub-district, East Jakarta, with a total sample of 59 mothers and adolescents. The data results were analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Rank and linear regression tests. Results: This study shows the effect of e-books on knowledge, attitudes and the role of mothers in dealing with pubertal changes with a significance of 0.000, 0.04 and 0.000. Education affects learning with a value of 0.000 and a regression coefficient of 2.787, which means that education increases a mother's knowledge by 2.7 times. There 91.1% of children are ready to be cheerful and ready to go through puberty, with a significance of 0.002. Conclusion: Using e-books increases mothers' role in facing puberty changes, and adolescents can go through puberty well.
