Abstract

Various adolescent health problems in Indonesia are so complex, not only related to physical but also related to psychosocial aspects. When teenagers have to struggle to recognize the sides of themselves that are experiencing physical-psychic and social changes due to puberty, society instead tries to hide everything about sex and leave teenagers with question marks in their minds. The view that sex is taboo, makes teenagers reluctant to discuss reproductive health with others. The lack of accurate and correct information about reproductive health makes teenagers seek access and explore themselves. Health education for adolescents needs to be provided with the right methods and media. Audiovisual media is a learning tool or media that uses video or mobile display, this media is a modern learning among the community and effective for teenagers so that they can absorb the material provided to the maximum. This study aims to determine the influence of audiovisual media on increasing adolescent knowledge about reproductive health. This research is a quantitative study with quasi-experimental design one group without control, with a sample of 50 respondents. Respondents measured the rate ofyears before and after intervention, namely health education using audiovisual media. The results of the study: dependent t-test dependent statistical test on post-test knowledge about reproductive health increased by 6.46 to 8.06 with p value of 0.000 indicating the influence of audiovisual media provision on improving adolescent reproductive health knowledge.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a significant health problem for women around the world. Every year no less than 15,000 cases of cervical cancer occur in Indonesia and about 20 of the 40 cases died each day (Deherba, 2012). This study to determine the effect of knowledge about the early detection of cervical cancer through the IVA inKarawang regency. Quasi-experimental research design with two sample hypothesis test calculations on the proportion of ? 0.05 and ? 80% earned 35 PUS of each group. The results of this study in the treatment group gained an average of knowledge was 77.9 with a standard deviation 17.19, while in the comparison group gained an average of 45 with the knowledge standard deviation is 15.17.Statistical test results obtained p <0.001, which means that at 5% confidence level there is the influence of health education on knowledge in the early detection of cervical cancer by IVA. The proportion of IVA behavior differed significantly between the control group to the treatment group (p <0.001). Continuous medical education needed by the public to gain knowledge so that foster interest and motivation for the early detection with a medical examination.

Abstract

Neonatal mortality rate in Indonesia, namely 19 per 1000 live births, is 55,9% ofthe infantmortality rate.Eventhough there are numbers of Maternal Care Health (MCH) programimplemented, declining neonatal mortality is still slow. Current efforts todecreaseneonatalmortalityare designed through the provision ofneonatalcarevisits. Theyincludes vitaminKinjection, administration ofeye ointment, early detection ofdanger signs, and HB0immunization. This research aims to examinethe effect of neonatal care, particularly neonatalvisit, in relation toreduce neonatal mortality rate in Indonesia (Analisis Data Riskesdas2010). This research employedcross sectional design with total number of sample13.859children those born alive, aged 0-59 months.. Data was analyzed using multiple logisticregression based on the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). The result shows that the risk ofneonatal death is higher among neonatal who received less than 3 neonatal visitserviceswithORadj=12.77 (95%CI1,82 - 89,56) than their counter part who did not receive neonatalvisit ORadj=28.32 (95%CI 3,86 - 208,26). Neonateswith novitamin Kat the time of1stneonatal visit has higherrisk ofneonatal death, with p value < 0,001 and OR adj 34,5(95%CI 4,90 - 243,34). This study shows that a high quality of neonatal health servicescould prevent neonatal death in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nurturing the qualified and comprehensive child growth development is held through theactivities of stimulations, early detection and interventions of growth development (SEDIGD)during the critical period since 1988. Government has supported the implementation ofSEDIGD for the Health Manpower in Public Health Center (Puskesmas) through training. However the research in 2013 found that there was no early detection and stimulation tothe babies visited the Integrated Care Center (Posyandu) in Administrative Village (Kelurahan)of Kayu Putih. What factors had affected thenon-implemented ofSEDIGDinKelurahan KayuPutih? The purpose of this research is to identify the determinants of motivation for theimplementation of SEDIGD to toddlers by cadres of the Integrated Care Center (Posyandu)in Kelurahan Kayu Putih in 2014. This research used cross sectional design. The sampleswere all the 101 cadres of the Integrated Care Center (Posyandu) in Kelurahan Kayu Putih. The data were analyzed using chi square with the analysis of univariate and bivariate.Result of the research showed that variables related to themotivationof early detectionofgrowth and developmentbycadreswere age(p <0,001, OR=4,6), education(p ==0,043,OR=2,72), knowledge(p =0.001, OR= 5,29). Conclusion:knowledgedeterminedthe cadres'motivationin implementingearly detectionandstimulation ofchild growth developmentinIntegrated Care Center (Posyandu).

The observations in the village are toddlers who have abnormal head circumference and there are babies and delayed development. This study determine how aspects of stimulation on parenting on child growth "baduta". The study used cross-sectional design, the study sample baduta and parents as much as 120. The result found an appropriate level of growth of 40.8%, 31.7% stimulation needs, needsaffection 52.5% and 6.7% needs a foster. There is a significant relationship fulfillment stimulation (teaser) with child development baduta p = 0.016. Needs sharpening form of stimulation for the development of children from an early age is very important given by a parent or guardian in accordance with the age of the child which includes four aspects of development to produce quality child. Abstract

Integrated Management of Young Babies (MTBM) is a method for teaching parents how to care for a child at home; Counseling parents to solve feeding problems, and advising parents about when to return to a health facility. There is no evaluation of the effective implementation of counseling on ICMI/MTBS services to the knowledge or ability of mothers to treat and detect early signs of the danger of the baby's. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of counseling in the service of MTBM on the ability of mothers to detect early signs of danger for young infants aged < 2 months. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with one group of pre and post-test approaches. Sample of 35 babies taken in the Ciri Mekar District Health Center in Bogor in 2019. There was a significant difference in the average knowledge of mothers about basic care of young infants before and after counseling in the MTBM service p-value of 0.001, and there was a significant difference in the average ability of mothers about the detection of danger signs of young infants before and after counseling in the service of MTBM p-value 0.028. Counseling given to baby mothers less than 2 months in MTBM service is effective to improve mother's knowledge about young baby's basic care and the danger signs detection of the young.
