Abstract

Di Indonesia, saat ini Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) sudah menjadi komoditas penting dan strategis.Kondisi lahan pertanian di Sulawesi Tenggara sebagian besar didominasi oleh tanah Podzolik Merah Kuning. Menurunnya kesuburan tanah merupakan salah satu penyebab rendahnya produktivitas kacang tanah. Tujuan penyusunan makalah yaitu untuk memberikan informasi tentang upaya peningkatan produktivitas tanaman kacang tanah dan perbaikan kesuburan tanah podzolik merah kuning melalui pemanfaatan teknologi biochar di Sulawesi Tenggara. Pemanfaatan limbah pertanian serta kotoran hewan memiliki potensi besar sebagai biochar atau arang hayati tahan pelapukan di Sulawesi Tenggara. Teknologi biochar memiliki potensi meningkatkan kandungan ketersediaan carbon dalam mampu, memperbaiki kemampuan tanah dalam menahan air dan mengurangi kehilangan unsur hara. Aplikasi teknologi biochar dapat memberikan efek baik melalui perbaikan sifat fisik tanah, biologi tanah dan kimia tanah dengan memasok sejumlah nutrisi yang penting bagi pertumbuhan dan peningkatan hasil panen tanaman kacang tanah.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, tanaman kedelai sebagai komoditas strategis ketiga setelah padi dan jagung. Produk kedelai menjadi sumber protein bagi manusia. Permintaan kedelai mengalami peningkatan, namun produksi masih rendah. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya produksi kedelai di Sulawesi Tenggara ialah memburuknya kesuburan fisik, kimia dan biologi tanah. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mempelajari peningkatan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai setelah implementasi jenis bahan organik dan pemulsaan pada tanah podsolik merah kuning di Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dalam pola Faktorial (RAK-Faktorial). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Implementasi jenis bahan organik pupuk kandang sapi, ampas sagu dan pemulsaan alang-alang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Terdapat perbedaan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai setelah implementasi jenis bahan organik pupuk kandang sapi, ampas sagu dan mulsa alang-alang pada tanah podsolik merah kuning. Interaksi antara jenis bahan organik pupuk kandang sapi dan ampas sagu serta pemulsaan alang – alang berperan dalam mendukung peningkatan jumlah polong isi perTanaman kedelai. Produksi biji kering kedelai terbaik dihasilkan melalui implementasi bahan organik pupuk kandang sapi 15 t ha dan Ampas sagu 15 t ha sebesar 1.75 t ha pada tanah podsolik merah kuning.

Abstract

Horticulture plant is essential component of agricultural development. It brings benefits products horticulture meet their food needs , aesthetic and to maintain health and environment. Climate change and the limited resources land causing loss for farmers food crops and horticulture. The purpose of drafting this paper is to inform the utilization of technology greenhouse and hydroponics as solutions to deal with climate change in the cultivation of plants horticulture. To get the result harvest season which is satisfying in the cultivation of plants horticulture , need to pay attention to environmental factor growing plants. The utilization of greenhouse in the cultivation of plants is one of a manner to give the environment that were more accessible for the condition of optimum position for the growth of plants. The use of hydroponics in cultivation crop can be implemented in greenhouse to keep the growth of plants optimally and protected from outside influences

Abstract

Nutrients or nutrients are important factors for plant growth which can be likened to food substances for plants. One of the factors that support plants to grow and produce optimally is the availability of nutrients in sufficient quantities in the soil. The elements N, P and K, have a very important role in plant growth and production. The purpose of the preparation of the paper is to provide information about efforts to improve efficiency and availability of nitrogen in the soil and nitrogen uptake in lowland rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) Nitrogen has a role as a constituent of enzymes which plays a large role in plant metabolism but is relatively not available to plants. The efficiency of the use of Nitrogen (N) fertilizer in lowland rice can be maximized by way of 1) timely fertilization, 2) planting superior varieties that are responsive to the administration of Nitrogen (N), 3) improving cultivation techniques, 4) regulating the timing of Nitrogen fertilizer (N ) the right during the growing season with Leaf Color Chart (LCC) or Leaf Color Chart (BWD) and 5) NPK fertilization simultaneously. Efforts to increase the availability of nitrogen in the soil and uptake in wetland rice can be done by adding high-quality organic matter, the use of Azotobacter isolates as biological fertilizers to reduce the decrease in soil health due to the input of synthetic chemicals.

Abstract

Population growth the rapidly is currently a major challenges to business world food supply. The development of biotechnology begins with technology genetically engineered has accelerated. Products of biotechnology plants resembling plants provenance, but having the characteristics of certain that causes those plants better. Plant products of biotechnology which has been approved for food as having the nature of : 1) resistance to pests and disease , 2) resistance to herbicide, 3) nutrition changes and 4) content increased save resources. The purpose of drafting this paper is to provide information about improving the quality of the soybean plant ( Glycine max l .Merill ) through the use of biotechnology in addressing scarcity of food.The genetically engineered in plants soybean , includes extraction process dna ( modification ctab ) method of the leaves of plants tangential and soybean R1 R2. Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a variety of sources of carbohydrate as sugar production. Planting of sugar cane monoculture and continuously in dry land causes degradation of soil fertility. One effort to improve soil fertility is the addition of organic matter. through the use of blotong compost. The purpose of this paper is to provide information on blotong compost technology innovation in improving soil fertility and increasing sugarcane productivity.Blotong has potential as a source of organic material from the residual waste from sugarcane crop yields. The macro and micro nutrient content of compost in blotong compost plays an important role in supporting plant growth. Blotong compost application in the long term can increase the physical, biological and chemical fertility of degraded land. Blotong compost application with inorganic fertilizer can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizer. Blotong application can increase the nutrient content of N, P and micro elements in the soil and can increase the growth and productivity plant sugarcane.

Abstract

The need for food is currently increasing so that to meet food needs, agricultural land, both dry land and paddy fields, is needed. Rice fields in Southeast Sulawesi are quite extensive, but rice productivity is still low. The use of inorganic fertilizers continuously for a long time, results in damage to the physical properties of the soil. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of complete liquid organic fertilizer packages and inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of paddy rice. The study used a randomized block design (RAK) with 5 fertilization treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that inorganic fertilization with a dose of 50% Local fertilizer recommendation + POCL fertilizer package had a significant effect on the number of tillers, number of productive tillers, empty grain and filled grain and yielded 6.52 tons/ha GKG. Farming analysis on the treatment of reducing inorganic fertilizers by 50% from the local fertilizer recommendation and added to the POCL fertilizer package gave a greater profit of Rp.17,870,905.

Abstract

Cassava (Manihot esculenta L) is the main food besides rice and corn, has a strategic role as a food ingredient and industrial raw material as well as animal feed ingredients. The purpose of preparing this paper is to inform the implementation of agricultural technology innovations in supporting increased production and development of cassava plants in the city of Jambi. The results of the study show that Development of cassava in Jambi city has good prospects. There is support from the regional government in developing new areas that have the potential to increase production of cassava, food, feed ingredients and as an energy source. Implementation of innovations in cassava cultivation technology, inorganic and organic fertilization and grafting technology can increase cassava production.
