Abstract

Three varved sediment cores from Hållvastö have been investigated to reveal shift in climate condition linked to the local event in the Baltic Sea: i.e. the transition between the Baltic Ice Lake Stage to the Yoldia Sea Stage. That local event was marked by the color change in varve clay sequences, which point to the change in varved clay forming processes. Varve diagrams were constructed for all Hållvastö sections in order to obtain a relative age based on annual varve-thickness correlations, the relative age of the cores are corresponded to 10,640 - 10,850 varve year or 11,390 - 11,610 cal yr BP. The geochemical data for this study was acquired using the Itrax, an X-Ray Fluorescence core scanner, which provides insitu high resolution, continuous, and multi element analyses. The geochemical data from the Itrax are occupied to make the elemental profiles and correlation matrices. The geochemical data are linked with lithological and loss on ignition analyses to answer the research question. It was found that the strength of associations between the studied elements (Ti, Rb, K, Zr, Si, Ca, Sr, Mn and Fe) varied over time with changes in basin status, which are ultimately driven by changes in climate. Element profiles are demonstrated several changes which could be related with the changes in hydrological and sedimentary processes. Increasing in grain size from the Baltic Ice Lake to the Yoldia Sea varve clay sequence (as indicated by Zr/Rb) could be related to the warming event during the beginning of Holocene warming event. The ice melted faster than before and increased the amount of water as sediment transport agent, thus coarser materials input to the basin increased.Keywords - Varve Clay, Baltic Sea, Baltic Ice Lake, Yoldia Sea, Paleoclimate, Itrax XRF core scanner.

Abstract

To assess whether a particular action of a business actor violates the provisions in Statute Number 5 of 1999, the KPPU and the Court may apply the per se illegal approach or rule of reason, depending on the formulation of the provisions allegedly violated. The rule of reason approach is an approach used by business competition authorities to make an evaluation of the consequences of certain agreements or business activities, to determine whether an agreement or activity is inhibiting or supporting competition. This paper analyzes the rule of reason approach applied by KPPU in cases with Case Number 03 / KPPU-I / 2017 to determine whether PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) which does not reduce the cost of shipping and taking cargo at Kualanamu Airport, even though its workload has been reduced, can be classified as a form of monopolization and constitutes a violation of the provisions of Article 17 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of Statute Number 5 of 1999. The results of the study showed that the application of the rule of reason by KPPU was carried out through 4 (four) steps, namely: (1). Market identification; (2) Identification of market power; (3) Identification of abuse of dominant position; (4) Identification of impacts on the public interest. Through the application of the rule of reason, KPPU decides that the actions of PT. Angkasa Pura II is a form of monopolization and that the action fulfills the elements in Article 17 paragraph (1) and (2) of Statute Number 5 of 1999.

Abstract

Serpentinisasi dikenal sebagai salah satu proses geologi yang dapat menghasilkan hidrogen alami. Oleh karena itu, daerah dengan distribusi batuan ultramafik yang mengalami serpentinisasi, seperti lengan timur Pulau Sulawesi, menjadi target menarik untuk eksplorasi hidrogen alami. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk untuk menentukan keberadaan sistem hidrogen alami di Cekungan Ampana ini dimulai dengan melakukan review literatur yang dilanjutkan dengan investigasi lapangan pada rembesan gas yang dianggap mengandung hidrogen. Sejumlah sampel baik batuan maupun gas diambil untuk dilakukan Analisa laboratorium yang mencakup petrografi, ICP-MS, komposisi gas, serta isotopnya untuk membuktikan keberadaan hidrogen alami di daerah penelitian. Disamping itu interpretasi data seismik dan gravity juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui konfigurasi bawah permukaan. Hasil studi ini memberikan gambaran awal mengenai pembentukan, migrasi, dan akumulasi hidrogen alami di Cekungan Ampana yang ditunjukkan oleh kehadiran sistem hidrogen alami yang mencakup keberadaan bukti permukaan berupa rembesan gas di Tanjung Api dan di Pulodalagan. Kehadiran batuan ultramafik dari Ofiolit Sulawesi Timur yang kaya unsur besi, adanya sesar utama yaitu Sesar Balantak yang dapat mengakomodasi perkolasi air tanah ke dalam batuan maupun sebagai jalur migrasi hidrogen, serta keberadaan sedimen pengisi cekungan sebagai media untuk akumulasi hidrogen. Pelajaran yang diperoleh dari sistem hidrogen alami di Cekungan Ampana ini kemudian digunakan untuk menentukan daerah eksplorasi lainnya di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Tanjung Api, Hidrogen Alami, Ofiolit Sulawesi Timur, Batuan Ultramafik, Serpentinisasi.

Abstract

Sungai Pampang di Desa Budaya Pampang, Samarinda Utara, Kota Samarinda, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur merupakan salah satu sungai tangkapan Bendungan Benanga, Lempake. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebaran tekstur sedimen dan pengaruhnya terhadap konsentrasi Zn, Cu dan Cd pada sampel dari hulu sungai ke hilir sungai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode granulometri pendekatan matematis dan metode AAS untuk mengetahui konsentrasi logam Zn, Cu, dan Cd. Berdasarkan hasil analisa granulometri pada bagian hulu dan hilir sungai memiliki ukuran dan sortasi butir dengan rata-rata berukuran sand dengan butiran yang poorly sorted. Nilai skewness dan kurtosis pada sungai di bagian hulu lebih aktif dibandingkan bagian hilir sungai. Distribusi kadar Zn, Cu, dan Cd pada bagian hulu lebih rendah dibandingkan pada bagian hilir sungai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin ke hilir sungai, proses sedimentasi, deposisi, dan kondisi arus sebagai media transportasi lebih tenang dibandingkan pada bagian hulu sungai.

Abstract

The tourism industry will continue to develop according to the times that trigger hotel industry players to continue and to develop the quality of their business starting from the quality of services and facilities provided which are expected to make consumers feel satisfied with the services offered at the hotel. The population taken in this study were 5,768 visitors at Hans Inn. Furthermore,for the sampling is used accidental sampling with 258 respondents by using Isaac and Newton formulas and the data collected by using questionnaire. The data is anylzed with using multiple linear regression with program SPSS Version 25. The results in this study can be seen through the t test, for service quality 6,150 and 3,620 exceeds the t table which affects customer satisfaction. Also, the results of f test is 180.861 exceeds the f table, it means that the quality of service and facilities simultaneously affects customer satisfaction at Hans Inn Batam.
