The agricultural sector is one of the priorities in dealing with the spread of Covid- 19 in Indonesia. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that was felt the most by farmers was the price of agricultural products which experienced a drastic decline due to the declining purchasing power of the people. This is not comparable to the effort and operational costs incurred by farmers when cultivating (Azamfirei, 2020). Collecting data using a questionnaire which is then analyzed using a SWOT analysis. Abstract

In recent times, small businesses have been recognized as a significant component of national economies, as evidenced by their resilience during the monetary crisis faced by Indonesia in 1999. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented a unique challenge due to the invisible nature of the virus, its social transmission, and the resultant threats to human safety. Small businesses have undergone several changes, including altered consumer behavior, production patterns, and product marketing, primarily due to their reliance on crowds and direct interactions between sellers and buyers. Consequently, many small businesses have either shut down or faced difficulties in maintaining their sustainability. To gain insights into the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for small business actors, we conducted a qualitative phenomenological study in Lebak Regency, Banten Province. Our findings suggest that the informants viewed the pandemic as a crisis that tested their adaptive capacity. This capacity encompassed not only the ability to adjust to changing economic conditions but also a sense of gratitude for the outcomes of their business activities. The quality of these attributes together determined the sustainability of their business.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOne of the problems in the apollo fisheries in Banten Bay is the utilization of by-catch. By-catch is non taget species in apollo fishing gear which has a relatively small size and low price. By-catch are generally used as animal feed or bait for traps. This activity aims to introduce technology and increase community capacity in processing by-catch into fish meal. The activity was conducted in stages, starting with the build of drying houses, purchasing of fish meal equipment, training and trials of processing by-catch into fish meal. To produce one kilo gram of fish meal, 3.5 kg of by-catch are needed as raw materials. KUB Sedayu buys by-catch from fishermen for Rp. 1,000 per kg. Processing of by-catch into fish meal can increase the added value of by-catch by Rp. 1,285 per kg. Intensive assistance still needs to be done so that fish meal production can run in a sustainable manner with maintained quality. Keywords: Apolo, assistance, low economic fishes, value added ABSTRAKSalah satu permasalahan dalam perikanan apolo di Teluk Banten pemanfaatan ikan Hasil Tangkapan Sampingan (HTS). This study used a saturated sample to take the total population to be used as a sample for total population of 88 people. Data analysis was carried out by testing the measurement model, testing the structural model and testing the indirect effect. The results of this study found that several hypotheses were accepted: (1) the effect of transformational leadership (x1) on employee performance (y) was significant and the value 0.326, (2) the effect of information technology utilization (x2) on employee competence (z) with a significant value of 0.488, and (3) the effect of using information technology (x2) on employee performance (y) was significant with a value of 0.407.
