Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of human resources, especially educators and education staff in vocational high schools. The object of this research is SMK Bina Sejahtera 4 Bogor City. The focus of this research is laid out into several sub-focus research problems such as; (1) The system for recruiting human resources for teachers and education personnel, (2) The system for developing and enhancing the competence of human resources for educators and educational personnel, (3) Barriers and solutions for HR development. This research method uses qualitative methods with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The main informant of this research is the principal, and the supporting informants are teachers and staff. The data analysis technique used by the author is triangulation which includes triangulation of data, methods, and sources. The research results include; (1) The recruitment system for teachers and education staff is already running well, (2) The HR development system for teachers and education staff is quite good and by their professionalism, (3) There are still a few obstacles in developing HR competencies, especially the limited cost of education. As an alternative solution made by the principal of SMK Bina Sejahtera 4 is involving teachers in various training activities such as; subject teacher deliberation (MGMP), principal work deliberation (MKK), and training activities organized by the Bogor City Education Office.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) STAI Al-Hidayah dengan tema pemberdayaan media sosial masyarakat terhadap peningkatan pendidikan, dakwah islam, dan kesehatan lingkungan pada era pandemi covid-19 merupakan respon tim peneliti PkM terhadap dampak yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat akibat pandemi Covid-19. Mencermati kondisi masyarakat yang terdampak bahwa pembelajaran dan dakwah dilakukan secara online sehingga banyak siswa yang terlena dengan alat belajarnya yaitu handphone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi solusi dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang muncul akibat pandemi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif eksploratif dimana tim mencoba menelaah secara mendalam masalah yang terjadi berdasarkan data dan fakta valid yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Tim menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dan sosial ekonomi untuk memahami gejala sosial ekonomi yang muncul akibat pandemi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen berupa sumber tertulis, film, gambar, atau foto. Hasil penelitian di bidang pendidikan dan dakwah adalah meningkatnya pemahaman agama dan ibadah masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM berdampak positif dan memberi kontribusi yang besar karena masyarakat mendapatkan edukasi tentang perilaku hidup sehat di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran. Lingkup penelitian mencakup antaralain: (1) perencanaan, (2) pengadaan, (3) inventarisasi, (4) pemeliharaan, (5) penghapusan. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, antaralain: (1) perencanaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran dilakukan sesuai prosedur dan analisis kebutuhan (evaluasi diri sekolah), pembiayaan, dan analisis prioritas, (2) pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran bersumber dari yayasan, bantuan pemerintah, donator, masyarakat, dan orang tua siswa, (3) inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dilakukan sesuai mekanisme yang ditetapkan, antara lain: tahapan, buku induk, pencatatan kode, jumlah, harga barang dan lain sebagainya dengan tujuan untuk pengendalian sarana dan prasarana secara tepat dan efektif, (4) penggunaan sarana pendidikan dilakukan setiap hari oleh guru dan siswa sasarannya adalah bahan ajar, ruang kelas, peralatan belajar. Sedangkan dalam hal pemeliharaan dilakukan secara berkala mencakup pemeliharaan gedung sekolah, penggantian plafon, kursi, meja, proyektor, komputer, dan (5) penghapusan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran dilakukan sesuai prosedur yang sudah ditetapkan pimpinan sekolah.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the procurement, use, and maintenance of the computer laboratory equipment at SMA Al-Minhaj Shahabah. This study used a qualitative case study approach because it described the use of the computer laboratory in supporting the teaching and learning process at SMA Al-Minhaj Shahabah. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and document study. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, presentation, and verification. The data validity techniques used credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results showed, among others: (1) Laboratory use and maintenance system was quite good. The maintenance of computer laboratory equipment has been planned in the School Development Plan (RPS) in general regarding the planning, process, and results obtained from the maintenance, (2) The design and layout of the laboratory were quite effective. (3) There was a schedule for effective laboratory use, (4) There were still obstacles for teachers and students in teaching and learning in the laboratory. (5) Laboratory management was handled by educational expert staff, and there was support from the foundation
