Abstract

This service aims to assist Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) traders in increasing sales and managing their finances through the introduction of financial technology (fintech) and the utilization of the Facebook Marketplace e-commerce platform. This service was carried out in response to the challenges faced by MSMEs in the digital era, especially in the aspects of increasing sales and efficiency of financial management. This service activity involves direct training and assistance to MSME players in Wanayasa District, Banjarnegara Regency. The stages of training activities include 1) survey 2) training and mentoring 3) results and evaluation. This training activity is an introduction to the basics of fintech, how to access and utilize fintech services for financial management, as well as marketing and sales strategies through Facebook Marketplace. The results of this activity show an increase in the ability of MSME traders to use fintech to better manage their finances, including in terms of transaction recording, cash flow management, and access to digital financial services. In addition, the merchants also succeeded in increasing the visibility and sales of their products through Facebook Marketplace.Thus, the introduction of fintech and the utilization of Facebook Marketplace are proven to support the optimization of sales and financial management of MSMEs.

Abstract

Para pedagang kecil di pasar tradisional tidak melakukan dan tidak menggunakan pencatatan keuangan. Keputusan pedagang kecil dalam pengelolaan usahanya lebih banyak didasarkan pada pengalaman dan pengamatan atas situasi pasar. Tujuan adanya kegiatan pengabdian diharapkan dapat memberikan pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM agar dapat melakukan pembukuan sederhana untuk berinovasi dan terus memasarkan produk. UMKM harus menjadi pelaku usaha yang professional, produktif dan kreatif. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode survei dan wawancara langsung duntuk dapat mengetahui permaslashan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM. Objek pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu pelaku usaha jamu atau UMKM di daerah Argomulyo. Hal ini bermanfaat untuk dapat mengetahui hasil setelah pemaparan materi diatas. Hal ini bertujuan agar umkm dapat berkembang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Setelah pelatihan diberikan masih ada kesempatan untuk bertanya tentang pembukuan sederhana dan hasilnya adalah Bu Asih masih belum mengetahui bagaimana cara membuat laporan keuangan sehingga ia tidak bias mengetahui laba yang telah didapatkan.

Abstract

UMKM merupakan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah yang berkontribusi besar pada perekonomian. Banyak pelaku UMKM yang kesulitan dalam mengembangkan usaha akibat kurangnya pemahaman. Usaha yang dilakukan belum memiliki izin yang legal, harga yang ditetapkan juga tidak dengan perhitungan yang tepat. Untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada pelaku usaha terutama kepada pelaku usaha kecil, maka dilakukan kegiatan ini dengan tujuan agar bisa membantu mewujudkan pengembangan usaha sehingga dapat lebih baik melalui pembuatan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) yang wajib dimiliki oleh sebuah usaha, dan melakukan penghitungan Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP) sebagai pertimbangan dalam memberikan harga yang sesuai dengan tujuan memperoleh keuntungan. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan simulasi langsung kepada pemilik usaha yang terdiri dari dua tahap kegiatan yaitu pembuatan Nomor Induk Berusaha dengan sistem Online Single Submission dan simulasi perhitungan Harga Pokok Produksi yang dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode full costing. Dari kegiatan ini, pelaku usaha dapat memperoleh pengetahuan mengenai cara untuk dapat mengembangan usaha, serta memahami proses dan pentingnya pembuatan izin usaha serta perhitungan untuk mengetahui harga pokok produksi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, pelaku bisa mendapat Nomor Induk Berusaha sebagai bukti izin usaha yang resmi dan memperoleh jaminan hukum, serta bisa menentukan biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk produksi sebagai pertimbangan untuk memberi harga jual kepada masyarakat agar bisa memperoleh keuntungan

Abstract

Traditional SMEs face significant challenges in surviving the digital era, particularly in product marketing. One proposed solution is utilizing TikTok as a digital platform to expand market reach. This community service activity aims to empower a cassava cracker SME through the implementation of TikTok-based digital marketing strategies. The methods used include initial observation, creative content creation training, technical assistance, and performance evaluation of the TikTok account. The results show an increase in product visibility in the digital market, with significant video views and positive audience responses, including increased product demand. These findings highlight the importance of digital innovation in enhancing the competitiveness of traditional SMEs. In conclusion, empowering SMEs through TikTok can be a strategic step to connect local products with a broader market, promoting business sustainability in the digital transformation era.

Abstract

This service aims to provide education and understanding of simple bookkeeping in business financial management. This service was carried out at MSMEs Warung Makan Mbak Tari located in Argomulyo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta and Warung Soto Seger Bu Tini located in Sumbersari Village, Moyudan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The methods used in this service are 1) Observation 2) Training, 3) Evaluation. The results of this service show that MSME actors understand simple bookkeeping so that they can manage their finances properly

Abstract

MSMEs are a business group with a large contribution as a provider of employment, a means of community empowerment, creating new markets, and contributing to gross domestic product. Almost 99 percent of business units in Indonesia are MSMEs and in 2024, especially in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the number will increase compared to 2023. However, the increase in the quantity of MSME units is not accompanied by an increase in the quality of financial performance. Many MSME players sell products without knowing the cost of goods sold, even though this affects the formation of the selling price of the product. Therefore, this activity aims to provide education and training related to how to determine the right COGS using the full costing method. MSMEs who previously did not understand the accounting concept of determining COGS are expected to better understand and be able to apply the calculation of COGS, so that they can maximize profits while still considering the purchasing power of the community.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the factors that influence the timeliness of financial reporting in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2021-2023. The sample selection technique used in this study used a purposive sampling technique where the selected sample was based on various considerations and certain criteria that were adjusted to the research objectives. Based on the specified criteria, the researcher obtained 54 data. The results of the study showed that Profitability and Liquidity have a positive effect on the timeliness of financial reporting, while Company Size does not have a significant effect. This finding suggests that companies that are more profitable and liquid tend to be more timely in their financial reporting. Based on these results, investors are expected to pay more attention to the profitability and liquidity of the company before investing, while companies need to maintain the stability of financial statements to increase investor confidence. Further researchers are advised to add other relevant variables, such as Gross Profit Margin or Return on Sales, so that the research results can further enrich the understanding of the timeliness of financial reporting

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to provide training and assistance regarding the preparation of financial reports for the Gudeg Mbah Djo UMKM in Kulon Progo Regency. In its financial records, the financial reports of UMKM Gudeg Mbah Djo are still recorded conventionally, so that there is often no clear separation between personal money and company money. Owners also do not know exactly how much profit or loss they have from the business they are running because so far it has only been ‘niteni’. The reason is because the owner still does not understand the importance of financial reports and the basis for recording them. From these main issues, it is necessary to carry out training and assistance for preparing financial reports for the Gudeg Mbah Djo UMKM.

Abstract

A thriving economy based on the concept of populist economic development is largely derived from the MSME sector. The importance of insight into accounting greatly influences the success of running a business. However, many MSMEs in Indonesia do not apply accounting concepts in running their business. There are still many views that accounting does not need to be implemented among small entrepreneurs. Because of this, this research was conducted to determine the suitability of small entrepreneurs in applying the accounting concept carried out by the grocery shop entrepreneur Mrs. Paini in Kalinongko Village, Purworejo Regency. MSMEs in Indonesia play an important role in increasing the return on business and encouraging growth, strengthening the community's economy and expanding work networks. The grocery shop business is a type of MSME that has the potential to get profits quickly. This research is a field research that uses collection techniques through survey methods, socialization and direct training in the field. This activity begins with field observations, practices, and evaluations as well as reports. The results of this study indicate that the owner's knowledge of bookkeeping is still relatively low and many grocery shop owners do not understand the importance of applying accounting including bookkeeping and financial management so that many of them do not prepare financial reports but on the other hand they understand that bookkeeping is very important to implement. With this, they do not know the profit or loss they get.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in laundry services, Lestari Laundry and Aisyah laundry which have deficiencies in bookkeeping and recording financial reports, so that they become adequate targets for implementing the recording of financial reports for MSMEs in laundry services in community service MSMEs in the surrounding area. This program aims to serve the community by referring to assistance in recording MSME financial reports based on the Cash Book application. The methods applied in implementing this community service include observation, interviews, literature study surveys, training and education, practical demonstrations, direct guidance, and use of cash books. By implementing assistance in recording financial reports, using a cash book application, it can help MSMEs understand how and utilize social media with a cash book application. Apart from that, the results obtained from this service will allow MSME players to know more about financial reports that are more regular and accurate.
