Abstract

PT. Tujuh Benua Jambi that processing salary system data still using microsoft excel. So that problems occur that is poor data storage because they have not yet uses a base data so that took quite some time for especially for their employees salary data, checking their employees salary and who should be investigated over and over on columns that is filled because sometimes an error occurs in the calculation of the employees salary, and the process of the preparation of reports on their employees salary and slip that takes time have to be in relatively a long time because ' one by one employees every month. Hence, this study aims to give solution to the problem by offering information system of employees salary use prototype and used unified model language system like use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagrams and flowchart diagram. The new system produce outputs featuring job data, employee data, bonus data, allowances data, salary data and showing reports required to ease PT. Tujuh Benua Jambi in data processing employess salary. And to advise in implementation system give user to training system first.

Abstract

Yutori education is an educational system designed to reduce student pressure. This relaxed approach has led to the emergence of a new generation known as the "Yutori Generation," which includes individuals born between 1987 and 1996. This generation is depicted in the television drama series "Yutori Desu Ga Nani Ka," directed by Nobuo Mizuta. The objective of this research is to analyze the characteristics of the show's three main characters and to evaluate whether the stigma associated with them is accurate. The writer employed a qualitative research methodology. For data gathering, a library research method was used, and the analysis was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach. The theoretical framework for this study includes the Yutori education theory by Paivi Poukka, the characteristics of the Yutori generation as explained by Hironobu Fujiwara, and Erving Goffman's theory of stigma. The data analysis results indicated that the community's stigmatization of the three characters in the play was not entirely accurate. Keywords: Japanese; Drama, Yutori; Stigma; Generation

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of student errors in solving algebraic form story problems based on Newman's procedure in junior high school. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. This research uses Newman's error analysis. The subjects of this study were three students, each of whom had high mathematical ability (ST), medium mathematical ability (SS), and low mathematical ability (SR) selected from class VIII W.R Supratman based on the report card value of mathematics class VII odd semester 2023/2024. The results of this study are as follows: Students with high mathematical ability (ST) tend to make mistakes at the reading stage by not reading the problem completely, especially the symbol "Rupiah," and at the writing/notation (encoding) stage by not writing the conclusion and the symbol "Rupiah". Students with moderate mathematics ability (SS) made mistakes at the comprehension stage by not writing and mentioning the question information completely, the transformation stage by making an incorrect mathematical model, and the writing/notation (encoding) stage by not writing the "Rupiah" symbol. Students with low mathematics ability (SR) made mistakes at almost all stages: reading by not mentioning the Rupiah symbol and not reading the complete problem, comprehension by not writing and mentioning the problem information completely, transformation by making an incorrect mathematical model, process skills with calculation errors, and writing/notation (encoding) by not writing the Rupiah symbol and the correct conclusion. This research shows the importance of understanding the problem thoroughly, making the right mathematical model, and writing complete notations and conclusions in solving mathematical problems, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the improvement of the mathematics learning process, both from the teacher and student side, so as to improve students' mathematical problem solving skills, especially in the material of algebraic form story problems.       Keywords: problem solving errors, math skills, algebraic story problems, newman procedure.

Abstract

This research focuses on communication strategies for the image restoration of former drug convicts within their families and communities. The study employs a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. A phenomenological perspective is applied, integrating data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validation is conducted through triangulation, while data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman technique. The findings reveal that image restoration strategies among former drug convicts are effectively implemented by applying William Benoit's theory of image restoration, which consists of five strategic approaches. The results demonstrate that these strategies contribute significantly to rebuilding public trust within the Kembangan District community. Among these, "Reducing Offensiveness" and "Corrective Action" emerge as the most crucial strategies. Through honesty (Reducing Offensiveness), sincere remorse (Reducing Offensiveness), and concrete change-oriented actions (Corrective Action), former drug convicts can successfully rehabilitate their damaged public image.

Abstract

Indonesia has significant aquatic resource potential, especially in its marine waters. One of its leading fishery products is cuttlefish, which is abundant in Indonesian waters. This study aims to examine the characteristics of frozen Whole Clean Cuttlefish processed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP). The implementation of GMP and SSOP is essential to ensure the quality and safety of fishery products, as fish-based products are highly perishable. Therefore, improving food safety standards is necessary to maintain the quality of frozen Whole Clean Cuttlefish for consumers.
