Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get the obtain a combination of liquid organic fertilizer kepok banana peel and urea fertilizer that gives the best influence on the growth and yield of pakcoy plant (Brassica rapa L.) varieties of Nauli F1. The research method used is an experiment method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 7 combinations of treatments and 4 replication, the trearment: A (LOF Banana Peel 0 ml/liter + Urea 0 kg/ha), B (LOF Banana Peel 0 ml/liter + Urea 300 kg/ha), C (LOF Banana Peel 300 ml/liter + Urea 0 kg/ha). D (LOF Banana Peel 300 ml/liter + Urea 300 kg/ha), E (LOF Banana Peel 300 ml/liter + Urea 200 kg/ha), F (LOF Banana Peel 100 ml/liter + Urea 300 kg/ha). G (LOF Banana Peel 100 ml/liter + Urea 200 kg/ha). The results showed there was significant on the provision of liquid organic fertilizers of banana peels and urea fertilizers on the average growth of plant height (14 dap, 21 dap, and 27 dap), the number of leaves (14 dap, 21 dap, and 27 dap), the diameter of the stems (7 dap, 14 dap, 21 dap, and 27 dap), root weight, leaf area, leaf area index and fresh weight. The treatment E (LOF Banana Peel 300 ml/liter + Urea 200 kg/ha ) obtained the best average results on the number of leaves and root weight meanwhile the treatment G (LOF Banana Peel 100 ml/liter + Urea 200 kg/ha) obtained the best average results against the height of the plant, stem diameter, leaf area, index of leaf area, and fresh weight of 58.61 grams/plant.

Abstract

Kailan is one type of vegetable that has high economic value. One way to produce nutritious food products in the form of vegetables is by planting using a hydroponic system. The hydroponic system has various systems, one of which is the wick system Wick. This experiment was carried out at Screen House Village. Selang Tengah RT04/RW02, Ward. Wanasari, Districts. Cibitung, Regency. Bekasi, West Java. It was carried out from March to May 2022. The research method used was an experimental method using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consisted of 9 treatments repeated 3 times. The first factor is the planting medium consisting of 3 levels, namely m1 (rockwool), m2 (sand of Malang) and m3 (fern). the second factor consisted of 3 levels, namely s1 (flanel), s2 (stove wick) and s3 (wool). The experimental data obtained were carried out by the 5% level F test. There was an interaction effect between the planting medium and the type of axis on the number of kailan leaves at the age of 14 and 42 days after planting the hydroponic wick system. The M1S3 (rockwool + flannel) planting media treatment gave the highest number of leaves of 11.47 strands, but it was not significantly different from M2S1 (sand + wool). Rockwool growing media gave the highest fresh weight of 111,29 g, while the woolen wick gave a fresh weight of 106,53 g

Abstract

The average meat requirement in Indonesia is met from boiler chicken meat. South Tambun sub-district has the largest population in Bekasi Regency and Bekasi Regency is the area with the highest per capita income and district minimum wage in Indonesia. Even so, the consumption of broiler meat in Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency, West Java can be said to be low so that it does not meet nutritional needs. This study aims to: (1) analyze the factors that influence the demand for broiler chicken simultaneously; (2) Analyzing the factors that affect the demand for Broiler Chicken Partially. The data used in this study is primary data through the distribution of questionnaires using google form by household consumers (Cross-section). Respondents in this study were 100 respondents obtained using the Slovin formula. Data analysis used multiple linear regression formula assisted by Microsoft Excel and EViews 10 applications. The results showed that 37,8% of consumer demand for broiler chicken could be explained by the independent variables used in the multiple linear regression equation model. All independent variables have a significant effect on the demand for broiler meat. The number of family members, the number of family incomes, and the level of education simultaneously have a significant effect on the demand for broiler meat.

Abstract

Semi-organic agriculture is one of the ways to achieve environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural development. Semi-organic rice is an organic agricultural product whose cultivation is still using low doses of chemical fertilizers without chemical pesticides. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, alternative strategies and strategic priorities in marketing semi-organic rice in Gapoktan Saluyu. The research method used a descriptive method with a mixed method approach. This study used secondary data and primary data. Primary data collection with interview techniques using questionnaires. The research respondents were seven semi-organic rice farmers, the head of Gapoktan saluyu, an agricultural extension worker at Cilamaya Wetan, a middleman, two consumers, the Karawang regency agriculture office, modern retailers, and academics. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, the Karawang Regency Agriculture Office and the Cilamaya Village Office. The sample of farmers and stakeholders was determined by purposive method with considerations according to their field of expertise. The analysis technique used is the IFE matrix and the EFE matrix, the SWOT matrix and the QSPM matrix. The results of the study show that the main factors are guaranteed product safety, lack of distribution channels in West Java and outside Java, increasing market prospects and global demand, and increasing organic business competition. The results of the SWOT matrix analysis produce five strategies. Based on the analysis of the QSPM matrix, expanding the market network by collaborating with traders or retailers is a strategic priority with the highest Sum Total Attractiveness Score (STAS) of 7.06.

Abstract

This study has the following objectives: (1) Analyzing the income level of gepuk milkfish for one month obtained by the Gepuk Milkfish Home Industry in Tirtajaya District, Karawang Regency, (2) Analyzing the added value of gepuk milkfish for one month obtained by the Gepuk Milkfish Home Industry in Tirtajaya District, Karawang Regency. The determination of the research area was based on the consideration that, in Tirtajaya District, the raw material for milkfish is very abundant and there is processing of milkfish into gepuk milkfish. In this study, researchers set 4 people as respondents with the census method. This study uses data analysis in the form of cost, revenue, income and added value analysis. The results showed that: (1) The average total cost incurred by the processor was Rp. 26,073,441.62 per month. The average acceptance of gepuk milkfish is Rp. 44,550,000 per month. The average income is IDR 18,476,558.38 per month. (2) The added value obtained from processing milkfish into gepuk milkfish for one month is an average of IDR 8,782.17 per fish with a value added ratio of 45%. So based on these results the added value of gepuk milkfish is said to be high because it has a ratio of > 40%.
