Abstract

The exclusive breastfeeding coverage rate in Jambi is 50.9% but the reality in society is that there are still many breastfeeding mothers who have problems so that they cannot breastfeed their babies for 6 months and cause failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding. Lactation massage is one of the efforts to increase milk production in postpartum mothers. Exclusive breastfeeding is very useful to increase the baby's immune system to avoid various diseases.The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of breastfeeding mothers about lactation massage using pandan leaf aromatherapy. The form of activity is to provide education to breastfeeding mothers in the form of lectures, discussions and practices. Methods with face-to-face and online using teaching aids as well as hands-on practice. Education and practice is carried out once, with a duration of 90 minutes. Pre-test is done before the activity. The output of this activity is an increase in knowledge about lactation massage and the application of pandan leaf aromatherapy. The results of the pre-test showed that the five nursing mothers had never received information about lactation massage and pandan leaf aromatherapy. After the counseling activity, there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of all mothers about lactation massage. The conclusion is that providing information about lactation massage with pandan leaf aromatherapy is very necessary so that nursing mothers have good knowledge and skills and give mothers a feeling of relaxation so that the breastfeeding process can take place exclusively for 6 months and continue until the child is 2 years old.

Abstract

The stunting rate in Indonesia is 21.6%. This figure is based on the results of the 2022 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), the stunting rate decreased by 2.8% from 2021, while the government's target for 2024 is that the stunting rate in Indonesia is 14%, for this reason the government has made various efforts to meet the target. 2024. Based on data from the Jambi Provincial Health Service in 2018, for Jambi Province, the stunting prevalence rate was 30.1% with the highest percentage of stunting found in West Tanjung Jabung Regency (44%) and the lowest in Sarolangun Regency 18.8%, for Jambi City the figure Stunting incidence 26.2%. Catfish has important nutritional benefits in preventing stunting in toddlers. Apart from catfish containing high nutritional value, catfish is a type of fish that is easy to find and cheap. So the consumption of catfish is an effort to overcome stunting in toddlers that can be reached by both upper and lower classes of society. Apart from that, in efforts to overcome stunting, the community needs to be given an understanding of the importance of nutrition for toddlers and early childhood, namely by providing education to mothers of toddlers and early childhood with the Mother Smart Grounding (MSG) program at Mukti Tama Kindergarten, Jambi City, targeting mothers. Teachers of Mukti Tama Kindergarten students. Activities are carried out by: Lectures, Visual Presentations, group discussions. Results: an increase in the average knowledge of mothers and parents of Mukti Tama KB Kindergarten children with an average of 2.0. Conclusion: Most of the participants, 85%, responded very well to the material provided. There needs to be continuous health education activities in coordination between kindergartens and health workers holding the KIA program in the PKM Simpang Kawat work area.

Abstract

The quality of human resources is related to the quality of children, where the quality of children today has an impact on the quality of human resources in the future. The number of sufferers of malnutrition and malnutrition is around 28% of the total children under five in Indonesia. About 10% of children under five who suffer from malnutrition and lack of nutrition end up dying. The under-five mortality rate is 37 per 1,000, half of which is due to malnutrition. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between nutritional status and motoric development in children aged 6-24 months. This study used an analytic observational design with a cross sectional approach. The subjects of this research were all mothers and toddlers who came to the low stinger Integrated health-service post (POSYANDU) in the work area of the Aur Duri’s public health center (PUSKESMAS), namely 30. The measuring instruments used were the dacin weight balance, microtoise and KPSP scales. Bivariate analysis using chi-square. The results of the study which is mostly under five year old children in aged 13-24 months and male gender is 36.7%. The most nutritional status (BW / U) in children aged 6-24 months is Good Nutrition with the male gender, namely 53.4%. The development of children aged 6-24 months at most was normal, with 8 male respondents (26.7%). The conclusion yields there is no significant relationship between the levels of nutritional status of children under five years old with the development of children. It is expected that parents will increase stimulations. Health workers and cadres should be included in training so that they can measure progress with the KPSP

Abstract

The nature of a woman is to get pregnant, give birth and breastfeed. Since a woman is born, teenager, pregnant, giving birth, breastfeeding, and menopause, there is always a story behind every process. Pregnancy and childbirth is a dream for all women. There are many stories that accompany every process of pregnancy and childbirth, sometimes there is anxiety and fear in every woman's heart. Sometimes these very apprehensive moments become frightening and even traumatic for some women who are first-time mothers. Lots of expectant mothers become depressed and afraid of not being able to go through it, causing their own trauma. Hypnosis can help mothers to ensure that they feel confident that they are capable of living each stage of life as a woman with the appropriate attachments. Due to the lack of support from family and environment, mothers must always try to create positive conditions for themselves to continue to be oppressed. The method used in this activity is lectures with lieflet media. The result of this activity is to increase mothers' knowledge about hypnosis.
