Abstract

In Geography Study Program, fieldstudy is the hallmark of geography outdoor learning. The similar activities of fieldstudy are fieldwork, fieldtrip, outing, excursion, cooks tours and others. The implementation of fieldstudy in the universities of teacher training has the similarity in its naming, its definition, its purpose, material of the study, the duration of the activity, the location of the fieldstudy, and data processing. The difference of the fieldstudy implementation lies on the ratio of supervisor to students, funding, outcome product and assessment. Universities that conduct the fieldstudy should review the curriculum in its implementation so that the credit, the assessed product and process have the similarity both in the credit and the supervisors who assess.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Zonasi, Reklamasi lahan, Pasir BesiIron sand mining activities at Cipatujah Beach Tasikmalaya District have a negative impact on the environment. Some problems post iron sand mining are; damage to the ecosystem, damaged land conditions, pollution of the population, damage to transportation infrastructure and conflict in the community. The condition of the coast after iron sand mining has changed, some areas have been utilized for Vannamei shrimp cultivation. Zonification of coastal land use areas is needed after iron sand mining to minimise the negative impacts arising from iron sand mining activities. The method used in this study is a descriptive survey method with data collection techniques used in field surveys, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out through Mapping the Cipatujah Coast Area by classifying the area into three main zones based on the characteristics of community activities and the potential of each coastal area after iron sand mining. Research Sites on the South Coast in the Cipatujah District of Tasikmalaya Regency. The results showed zoning of the land reclamation area after iron pair mining in Cipatujah subdistrict was divided into 3 zones including Zone I: zone of Vannamei shrimp cultivation area, Zone II: Tourism Zone, and Zone III: zone of ecological conservation. Keywords: Zoning, land reclamation, Sand, Mining, Coastal
