Abstract

This study aims to produce chemical-based e-Module POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) on the material oxidation-reduction reaction as a viable source of student learning. This research method using research and development or research and development (R & D). Subjects in this study were students of SMK class X. Data analysis techniques using an assessment analysis of 10 validators consisting of 5 material and language experts, as well as 5 media experts. Analysis of expert validation test questionnaires, Student and teacher trials using questionnaires that were adopted from Puskurbuk and issued by BSNP. Applications used in the manufacture of e-Module is 3D PageFlip Professional 1.7.7. The results of the study show that: (1) Assessment of experts as a whole is obtained in the range of 70% to 90% with good to excellent interpretation, (2) Assessment of teachers and students on a small scale and large scale as a whole increases in the range 80% 90% with good to good interpretation. Thus, it can be concluded that the e-Module POGIL material based chemical oxidation-reduction reactions are very well developed and already eligible for use in the learning process and can be used as a source of independent study students. Abstract

acids and bases topics. Quasy experiment was chosen as research method with posttest only group design. The research population was students of XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 in SMA Negeri 26 Jakarta. The sample was established using the purposive sampling technique by choosing two classes as experiment class and control class. The experiment class was taught by using the Blended-Problem Based Learning model, while the control class was taught by using Blended-Explicit Instruction. The data were collected by using critical thinking skill questions. The data analysis technique used independent sample t test. The result showed that the experiment class’s mean was 68,306, while the control class was 58,611. The hypothesis was obtained by value of tcalculate (3,454) > ttable (1,667) with significant level is 0,05. So, it can be concluded that there was positive effect of Blended-Problem Based Learning model on students’ critical thinking skill in acids and bases topics. Abstract

Serbuk TiO2 berukuran di wilayah nanometer telah berhasil disintesis dengan prekursor TiCl4 melalui metode hidrolisis pada berbagai temperatur. Kajian terhadap karakteristik TiO2 hasil sintesis berupa kemurnian, kristalinitas, fasa kristal, ukuran, morfologi dan interaksi dengan gugus kitosan dan kain dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektofotometer infra merah (FTIR), difraksi sinar-X dan SEM. Untuk pengujian stabilitas fasa koloidnya diuji menggunakan dispersi pada air dan pengamatan terhadap stabilitas koloidnya. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa serbuk TiO2 berukuran di wilayah nanometer dihasilkan temperatur hidrolisis pada 70oC, hasil SEM memberikan konfirmasi mengenai ukuran partikel TiO2 yang dihasilkan di 4,1293 nm sampai 115,2006 nm. Difraksi sinar-X menunjukkan hasil sintesis berupa TiO2 berfasa anatase murni. Pemeriksaan terhadap dispersi TiO2 hasil sintesis pada kain dengan bahan pendukung kitosan menggunakan spektroskopi infra merah (FTIR) memberikan informasi terjadinya interaksi antara gugus fungsional pada permukaan kain, kitosan dan TiO2. Didasarkan data-data tersebut, maka TiO2 hasil sintesis berpeluang untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai agen pemutih pada kain katun. Characterization conducted to TiO2 results of synthesis such as purity, Crystalinity, phase crystaline, morphologyand interaction withthe chitosan and fabric conducted using spektrofotometer infrared (FT-IR), diffraction X-rays and SEM. Stability test in collid phase tested use dispersion to water and observation stability of cololid. This test results shows the TiO2 undersized in the nanometers produced hydrolysis temperature on 70oC, results from SEM confirmed about size of TiO2particles resulting in 4,1293 nm until 115,2006 nm. X-rays Diffraction indicating the synthesisresult of TiO2 anatase pure. Examinatio on dispersion TiO2 synthesis result on fabric with material combine chitosan use of spectroscopy infrared (FT-IR)giving information the occurence of organic functinal group on the based fabric, chitosan, and TiO2. Abstract

This study aims for shyntesized of composite of cholesteryl acrylate polymer-indium tin oxide (PCA-ITO) and the characteristic, and also its conductivity properties. Synthesized of PCA-ITO Composite by using UV Curing method with initiator 2-Hydroxy-2-Methyl PhenylPropanone (Darocur 1173). This research using vary of concentration initiator darcor were 0; 0,125; 0,250; 0,375; 0,500; 0,625 % V/V. The FTIR characterization results show a shift of wave numbers between the PCA-ITO composite FTIR spectrum and its pure cholesteryl arcylate (KA) FTIR spectrum. Based on the XRD diffraction pattern thereis a high intensity peak a 2θ=30° which is the typical peak of ITO and there is a peak at 2θ=7° which is the peak of the cholesteryl acrylate-ITO. The greater the initiator concentration the ITO and PCA begin to mix and look at the morphology of the surface with englarged. The LCR Meter data show that the conductivity value of the PCA-ITO composite without the initiator is smaller when compared with the addition of the initiator. Keywords. Abstract

In this research, silica gel composite modified adsorbents were made with APTES and activated carbon. Silica gel comes from rice husk and activated carbon comes from coconut shell. This rice husk ash is processed in such a way as a sodium silicate solution to produce a silica gel product. The silica gel was then mixed with 3-aminopropylsylatedoxylic reagent (APTES) and activated carbon previously with ZnCl 2 solution and processed into composite. Characterization of composite synthesis using FTIR spectroscopy shows uptake of N-H, silanol (Si-OH), siloxane (Si-O-Si), and C-H bonds. The content of the silica gel composite modified by APTES and activated carbon is indicated through EDX analysis results that the composite of the synthesis has a mass percentage of each atom of 32.92% carbon, 25.88% nitrogen, 26.04% oxygen, and 15.16% silica. The results showed that the optimum pH required for the adsorption of Cd (II) ions with silica gel composite was modified with APTES and the activated carbon was 5.0 and the optimum contact time was 30 minutes. Adsorption of Cd (II) ions by silica gel composites was modified by APTES and activated carbon followed Freundlich adsorption isotherm. Abstract

Pewarna Eosin Y telah berhasil diuji kapasitas serta persen adsorpsi menggunakan adsorben silika gel, karbon aktif dan komposit silika gel APTES-karbon aktif dari bahan alam. Penentuan optimasi pH dan kontak waktu menunjukkan bahwa ketiga adsorben berada pada pH optimum dan waktu kontak masing-masing sebesar 4 dan 30 menit. Penentuan model isotherm adsorpsi eosin Y terhadap komposit silika gel termodifikasi APTES-karbon aktif mengikuti isotherm adsorpsi Langmuir dengan kapasitas adsorpsi dan konstanta Langmuir masing-masing sebesar 21,28 mg g-1 dan 0,165.
