Abstract

The current large image storage capacity is increasingly important. This need, caused by the image to be stored more and more. Digital image processing in the field of image decomposition can be a solution to minimize memory needs in representing digital images. In this case the ratio in the decomposition process becomes the reference comparison between the decomposed image with the original image. In this research decomposition process using DWT algorithm. The image decomposition based discrete wavelet transform using the calculation system with the decomposition with the direction of the row and decomposition with the direction of the column. The decomposition process uses a leveling and subtraction formula by calculating the average value of two pairs of data. The results of this study indicate that the decomposition of digital images based on discrete wavelet transform is expected to be one useful algorithm in imaging technology for digital image decomposition. Keywords: digital image, decomposition, discrete wavelet transform

Abstract

Geographic Information System is a system created based on the geographic mapping of the earth. This system can provide information about the location of the area or the location of places on the earth's surface, provide information about a location and information about the shortest path from one location to another. The city of Padang Sidempuan currently has many tourist attractions that have a beauty that is not far from other cities, such as Tor Simarsayang, Silima-Lima Waterfall, Aek Sabaon and others. However, currently there is no application that can make it easier for tourists to get information to get to the tourist attractions in question. The Floyd-Warshall algorithm is a method that performs problem solving by looking at the solution that will be obtained as an interrelated decision and will choose the shortest path from several alternative paths that have been generated from the calculation process. In this study using the waterfall research method, android programming language and MySQL database with data as much as 10 tourism points. The final results were tested using the black box testing method, obtained an average accuracy of 90% of the results of the shortest distance from each point and the system can display features, such as tourist data features, tourist facilities, cost estimates, tourist pictures and opening times of the tourist attractions

Abstract

Students in grades 4-5 Elementary School Al-Ikhlas need an Android-based application to find the meaning of the Qur'anic verses to help and make it easier for students to find the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an and do the tasks given by Islamic Religion Teachers. Making the application's search for meaning verses of Qur'an using methods matching string (string matching) that is implemented in the search process said. String matching will perform the search process for a string or several strings found in a text or string. The algorithm used in string matching is berry ravindran, this algorithm has 2 phases, namely the preprocessing phase and the search phase. The phase preprocessing serves to create a shift value that will be used in the search phase. The value of the search phase is obtained from the rules of the algorithm. The Algorithm is berry ravindran implemented to perform analysis string matching in the application of finding the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. This application to search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an can search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an by using voice, it is hoped that this voice search feature can facilitate the search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. Speech recognition is implemented using one of the Google Cloud Platforms, namely the Google Speech API to detect spoken words when searching, so that it can make it easier for users to search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. It is hoped that this application can be used as a source of knowledge and useful for grade 4-5 students at Elementary School Al-Ikhlas so that they are more diligent in reading the Qur'an and finding out the meaning of the verse, in order to guide them to the right path to the path that is pleasing to Allah.

Abstract

Abstract: CV. Bharata Nigar Persada is a company engaged in servicing and repairing forklifts, as well as generators for heavy equipment and supplies of other supporting equipment including spare parts for forklifts and generators of various brands at affordable prices. The system that is running on CV. Bharata Nigar Persada in managing its inventory only uses Microsoft Excel software. So that in its management it does not have predictions of future inventory. So in determining the amount of inventory that must be stocked in the future there will be a shortage and result in inventory not being based on customer needs which results in the customer experiencing disappointment because demand is not fulfilled and leading to losses due to loss of customers. For this reason, a forecasting method is needed that provides an estimated value of the number of goods in the coming month so that production can run as planned. Sistem yang sedang berjalan pada CV. Bharata Nigar Persada dalam mengelola persediaan barangnya hanya menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel. Sehingga dalam pengelolaannya tidak memliki prediksi persediaan barang di masa mendatang. Maka dalam penetapan berapa jumlah persediaan barang yang harus di stok kedepannya mengalami kekurangan dan mengakibatkan terjadinya persediaan barang tidak berdasarkan kebutuhan customer yang mengakibatkan customer mengalami kekecewaan karena permintaan tidak terpenuhi dan berujung kerugian karena hilangnya pelanggan. Untuk itu diperlukan metode peramalan yang memberikan nilai perkiraan jumlah barang pada bulan yang akan datang agar produksi dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Adapun bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan dalam pembangunan sistem informasi berbasis web dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai database. Kata kunci: peramalan; persediaan sprepart forklift dan genset; PHP

Abstract

Abstract: In one of the public transportation sectors, buses are the Transmetro Deli Bus which is operating around the city of Medan and the areas through which it passes. This study was assisted by the R&D (research and develoment) using the A* (A-Star) Algorithm to determine the results of the shortest line of the transmetro deli bus stop. The construction of a geographic information system has been successfully implemented with the A*(A-Star) algorithm by building a web-based Geographic Information System that can display 60 location points, a description of the stop profile and 11 buses from the observation results. The implementation of the A-Star Algorithm in this study in the search for the shortest route, with 1 data sample, namely from the starting point A of the UINSU Medan Campus, Jl. William Iskandar, Medan Estate to the destination point G Bus Stop Transmetro Deli Simpang Aksara Corridor Lapangan Merdeka - Tembung. The same result was obtained between manual calculations and system calculations, namely the starting point A of the UINSU Medan Campus, Jl. William Iskandar, Medan Estate to the destination point G Transmetro Bus Stop Deli Simpang Aksara Corridor Lapangan Merdeka – Tembung is 5.144286646 Km. Keywords: geographic information system;a-star algorithm;shortest path;transmetro                  deli bus. Abstrak: Pada salah satu sektor transportasi angkutan umum bus yaitu Bus Transmetro Deli yang sedang beroperasi disekitar Kota Medan dan daerah-daerah yang dilaluinya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penilitian R&D (research and develoment) serta menggunakan Algoritma A* (A-Star) untuk menentukan hasil jalur terpendek halte bus transmetro deli.Pembangunan sistem informasi geografis telah berhasil diimplementasikan dengan algoritma A*(A-Star) dengan dibangun sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis berbasis web yang dapat menampilkan 60 titik-titik lokasi, deskripsi profil halte dan 11 bus dari hasil observasi.Implementasi Algoritma A-Star pada penelitian ini dalam pencarian rute terpendeknya, dengan 1 sampel data yaitu dari titik awal A Kampus UINSU Medan, Jl. Abstract

Abstract: This research is titled "Application of Laboratory Equipment Recognition in Pharmacognosy at SMK Kesehatan Sidimpuan Husada Using Augmented Reality," where the research problem lies in the fact that practical work is conducted with a large number of students and time constraints, resulting in a lack of success in maintaining sterilization in the laboratory. The introduction of laboratory equipment is also limited due to being done manually and requiring a considerable amount of time. To address this issue, a solution is proposed by developing an augmented reality-based Android application for introducing pharmacognosy laboratory equipment. The method employed is qualitative. Abstract

Abstract: The recommendation process for Hajj and Umrah travel really requires a high level of data accuracy. So with a system that is still manual, of course it is very ineffective, so a Decision Support System is built. The Decision Support System was built using a combination of two methods, namely Weighted which is used for determining the weight of criteria and Electre which is used for ranking. In the calculation process, this SPK uses four criteria, namely price, trip duration, number of roommates, and facilities. This Decision Support System is a web-based system and was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This Decision Support System that was built can display the final result in the form of hajj and umrah travel ranking data in the city of Medan from the calculation of the combination of the two methods. The results of the ranking can be printed in the form of a report. Of course, the results of this Decision Support system can be used as recommendations in the decision-making process regarding Hajj and Umrah travel in the city of Medan. Keywords: hajj and umrah travel; decision support system; weighted product; electre, Abstrak: Proses rekomendasi travel haji dan umrah sangat membutuhkan tingkat akurasi data yang tinggi. Maka dengan sistem yang masih manual tentu sangat tidak efektif, sehingga dibangunlah sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang dibangun menggunakan kombinasi dua metode yaitu Weighted yang digunakan untuk penentuan bobot kriteria dan Electre yang digunakan untuk perangkingan. Dalam proses perhitungannya, SPK ini menggunakan empat kriteria yaitu harga, durasi perjalanan, jumlah orang sekamar dan fasilitas. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini adalah sistem yang berbasis web dan dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang dibangun ini dapat menampilkan hasil akhir berupa data perangkingan travel haji dan umrah di Kota Medan dari perhitungan kombinasi dua metode. Hasil dari perangkingan tersebut dapat dicetak dalam bentuk laporan. Abstract

The problem of determining catering delivery routes at UMKM Vfoodia in Medan City is still carried out manually and relies heavily on couriers’ experience, which may lead to inefficiencies, especially in cases of courier replacement and limited delivery time windows. This condition results in delivery delays and difficulties for couriers in understanding customer locations and delivery sequences. This study aims to develop a catering delivery route determination system based on Geographic Information System (GIS) using the Dijkstra algorithm. The system is developed as a web-based application accessible via Android devices to support both administrative and courier activities. GIS is utilized to visualize customer locations and road networks on a digital map, while the Dijkstra algorithm is applied to compute the shortest route between two points. In daily delivery operations involving multiple destinations, the Dijkstra algorithm is executed repeatedly, where the destination point is updated each time a customer delivery is completed. The system is integrated with the OpenRouteService API to obtain distance and travel time estimations and is equipped with a caching mechanism to reduce repetitive API calls. The contribution of this research lies in the application of the standard Dijkstra algorithm in a repetitive manner within a GIS-based system to support structured multi-destination catering delivery at the UMKM scale. Experimental results show that the system is able to generate the shortest delivery route with a minimum distance of 6.0 km in the test scenario and helps make the delivery process more organized and easier for couriers to understand. Therefore, the proposed system improves delivery efficiency and enhances the quality of catering delivery services at UMKM Vfoodia.

Abstract

As educators, functional position promotion (JaFung) serves as a means of advancing teachers’ careers as well as an indicator of their success in meeting established quality standards. However, in practice, this process still faces several challenges, such as teachers having difficulty monitoring the progress of their submitted proposals and institutions needing to contact teachers individually when issues arise. These problems indicate the absence of integration between progress monitoring and communication within a unified system. This study aims to propose a system model that integrates monitoring, communication, and RBAC-based security mechanisms. The Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) mechanism is used as a framework for managing interactions among actors across institutions and is designed using a scenario-driven role engineering approach to produce an RBAC model that adheres to the principle of least privilege. The system development method employed in this study is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall model. The results of black-box testing show that the developed system operates in accordance with its specifications and fulfills functional requirements. Access violation testing involving 10 unauthorized access attempts resulted in a violation rate of 0%, indicating that all unauthorized access was successfully prevented by the system. In addition, there was a 37.21% reduction in the number of permissions in the RBAC-implemented system, demonstrating the application of the least privilege principle. The proposed system not only facilitates document management and proposal progress monitoring but also enhances security and ensures more structured access management in the functional position promotion process.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the used car market in Indonesia has increased the need for an objective and data-driven approach to determine appropriate purchase prices. One of the main challenges in used car transactions is the subjectivity in price determination, which often leads to discrepancies between sellers and buyers. This study aims to develop an information system for predicting used car purchase prices using the Random Forest algorithm. The dataset used in this study consists of 301 records with attributes including brand, model, production year, engine capacity, mileage, fuel type, transmission, and region. The research methodology involves data collection, preprocessing, dataset splitting, model development, and evaluation. The model performance is evaluated using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and R-Squared (R²). The results show that the Random Forest model achieves an MAE value of 22.654 and an R² value of 0.958, indicating that the model can explain 95.8% of the variance in the data with relatively low prediction error. The developed system implements an input–process–output mechanism, where user-provided vehicle data are processed by the trained model to generate price predictions automatically. The system is able to provide fast, accurate, and objective price estimates, thereby supporting better decision-making and improving transparency and efficiency in used car transactions.
