Abstract

Abstract: Premenstrual syndrome is a physical and psychological symptoms that occurs at 7 to 10 days before menstruation and disappear during menstruation. Premenstrual Syndrom ( PMS ) is a combination of symptoms that occur before menstruation and disappear with the release of menstrual blood, as well as experienced by many women before or during each menstrual cycle. The high PMS problems in adolescents will have an impact on productivity in performing daily activities. Objective of this research is to To Know Factors Associated With Premenstrual Syndrome.  This is a cross section of survey methods research design. The samples in this study were 70 students of the  Midwifery, sampling technique is the Purposive sampling, the data collected by distributing questionnairs. The results of the chi-square test, there is significant relationship between stress and Premenstrual Syndrom / PMS  (p=0,036). And  there is no significant relationship between Consumption Patterns,  Activity/sport Pattern and Premenstrual Syndrom  ( p=0,627).

Abstract

Abstract : ASI (the mother’s breast-feeding) is a food which is important for brain growth, health staffs must provide information and education of exclusive breast-feeding to the mothers since pregnancy tests until the period of exclusive breast-feeding is complete. According to SDKI (demographics survey and Indonesian health) the exclusive breast-feeding below 6 months by 41% because many babies who have consumed the formula for infants at the age of below than 6 months. The purpose of the study was to compare pregnant women’s knowledge level about breast-feeding before and after health education at Pagesangan health center 2016. The research was a Quasi Experiment with research design, time series design. The population in this study was the third trimester pregnant women. The research technique was purposive sampling with a sample of 45 people and using Marginal Homogenity Test (Wilcoxon). Based on the result of the research, the highest expectant mother’s knowledge before health education was in terms of low category as many as 38 people (84.4%) and after the health education, the highest maternal knowledge on medium category was 21 people (46.7%). The statistical analysis was obtained probability value (p value) = 0.00 where the value was smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.00) hence it can be concluded that there was a significant comparison between knowledge before and after health education. It is expected to Pagesangan health center can improve the service quality in providing health education to set a schedule of counseling routinely and equip the facilities to provide lefleat on how to squeeze and store ASI.

Abstract

Abstract: Progression of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) or AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) in Indonesia has become increasingly serious. When the number of cases in the world are gradually fall, ironically, Indonesia is actually classified as a concentrated state with endemic levels of HIV / AIDS. According to Ditjen PP & PL Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia, HIV and AIDS cases in Indonesia from January to December 2013 has been recorded as a cumulative as many as 143 899 98 390 cases consisting of 45 499 cases of HIV and AIDS by 8235 death. Central Lombok is one of regency  in Indonesia that was ranked on 4th in number of cases of HIV / AIDS with AIDS prevalence (2.6 per 10,000 population) compared with other districts.Methods: This study is a descriptive study using secondary data. This research population is all participants who visited and checked into KTH Mandalika Praya of Hospital in January to December 2013 as many as 2,223 participants. Formula slovin of 400 participants with systematic random sampling technique were used for the sampling. The data processing and data analysis was calculated by using SPSS version 18 with a descriptive test analysis.The results showed that participants who followed the screening of HIV / AIDS in KTH Mandalika Praya of Hospital were mostly male (71.5%), aged 25-49 years (41.8%), high school education (30.8%), and worked as a self employed (45.8%). Meanwhile, for HIV-positive test results showed that there were mostly the male (52.6%), aged 25-49 years (63.2%), junior high school education (31.6%), and worked as a self employed (52, 6%). Implementation of early screening HIV / AIDS can detect the most dangerous infectious diseases, especially HIV / AIDS.
