Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the narrator's perception of homosexuality and the ideology contained in the Noveletet Catetan Poéan Réré and the teenlit Novelet My Cousin is Gay. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic. Reading and taking notes are the data collection techniques of this study. The data processing technique used is data triangulation. The results of this study indicate that there are eight perceptions of the narrator towards homosexuals, namely homosexuality as a disgrace that must be hidden, a wrong deed, a disease that must be cured, a person who is strange or not in general, a difficult life to live, a bad person, a trial that given by God, and one's life choices that must be respected. There are two ideologies in Catetan Poéan Réré's Noveletet, namely the ideology of conservatism and the ideology of theism. Likewise in the teenlit Novelet My Cousin is Gay which has two ideologies, namely the ideology of conservatism and the ideology of liberalism. The conclusion in this study is that negative perceptions of homosexual behavior are more dominant in both literary works. The ideologies in the Noveletet Catetan Poéan Réré have a close correlation because the two ideologies try to maintain heterosexuality in their society. The author and the narrator have the same voice in addressing homosexual behavior. While the ideology in the teenlit Novelet My Cousin is Gay has no correlation. The author and several characters in the story have a conservatism ideology that tries to maintain heteronormativity. This is contrary to the ideology of liberalism that appears in the middle of the story through the narrator's point of view. Therefore, the writer and narrator in this Novelet do not have the same voice in dealing with homosexuals.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the value of local wisdom in the two children's stories by Dadan Sutisna, Nu Ngageugeuh Legok Kiara, and Mystery Haur Geulis. After being analyzed using the content analysis method, it was found that these two stories have five values of local wisdom related to the fields of education, social, ethics, culture, and religiosity. In the conclusion of this study, the novellet entitled Nu Ngageugeuh Legok Kiara contains the value of local wisdom related to the relationship between humans and nature. Humans as intelligent beings must be able to live in harmony with nature. Meanwhile, the novellet Mystery of Haur Geulis contains the value of local wisdom related to culture and people's beliefs that must be respected and recognized as our national identity. Therefore, these two children's stories deserve to be used as teaching materials in schools to introduce the local wisdom of the Sundanese people to maintain a local culture in the younger generation.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam kedua cerita anak karya Dadan Sutisna yang berjudul Nu Ngageugeuh Legok Kiara dan Misteri Haur Geulis. Setelah dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi konten dan teknik pengkajian isi dokumen, ditemukan hasil bahwa kedua cerita ini memiliki lima nilai kearifan lokal yang berkaitan dengan bidang pendidikan, sosial, etika, budaya, dan religiositas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, novelet berjudul yang Nu Ngageugeuh Legok Kiara mengandung nilai kearifan lokal yang berkaitan dengan hubungan antara manusia dengan alam, intinya manusia harus bisa hidup selaras dengan alam, sedangkan novelet Misteri Haur Geulis mengandung nilai kearifan lokal yang berkaitan dengan kebudayaan dan kepercayaan masyarakat yang harus dihormati dan diakui sebagai identitas kebangsaan. Oleh sebab itu, kedua cerita anak ini bisa dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar di sekolah untuk memperkenalkan khasanah sastra daerah dan sekaligus nilai kearifan lokal kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the educational values of local wisdom of dasakreta, dasaindria, dasakalesa, dasamarga, dasapasanta, and dasaprebakti which are covered with the grand concept of tri tangtu di bumi (three provisions on earth; tangtu telu), and aims to develop a learning model based on local wisdom education (ethnopedagogy) from the ancient Sundanese manuscript Sanghyang Siksa Kandang Karesian (1518 AD). The method applied in this study is a descriptive method of critical analysis of the manuscript with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the values of local wisdom education in the ancient Sundanese manuscript of Sanghyang Siksa Kandang Karesian 1518 AD are closely related to the purpose of life and the postulate of the Sundanese people, namely inhale bagja, safe, tingtrim, ngahenang-ngahening, subul darajat, ngeunah angen-ngeunah angeun, sampurna world ahérat, hurip, sane, cageur, bageur, true, smart, honest, ludeung, silih asih, silih asah, silih nurturing, and sineger tengah. Furthermore, from this research, a set of ethnopedagogical teaching models based on the ancient Sundanese manuscript Sanghyang Siksa Kandang Karesian was produced in the form of learning syntax.
