Abstract

Cargo Ship Planning is very important for sea transport. One of the important factors in ship planning is the determination of the anchor and mooring system which functions as a tool to limit the motion of the ship when it is anchored outside the port, so that the ship remains in its position even though it is under pressure from sea currents, wind and waves.. The formulation of the problem in this study is the number of anchors and the motor power of the anchor system on a cargo ship based on the BKI class. The purpose of this study is to determine the number of anchors and the motor power of the anchor system on a cargo ship based on the BKI class. The research method of anchor system analysis was carried out by using a literature study method based on BKI class 2014 volume II. The conclusion of this research is knowing the number of anchors as much as 2 pieces, the length of the anchor chain with the anchor chain length of 522.5 m, the diameter of the anchor chain is 60 mm, and the motor power of the windlass is 1.7 HP. While the length of the mooring rope along the 280 m is 4 pieces

Abstract

Badan Pertolongan dan Pencarian Nasional (BASARNAS) Kendari menyatakan telah menangani 33 kecelakaan kapal pada tahun 2020 di perairan kota Kendari. Berdasarkan uraian permasalahan yang telah disampaikan, maka dibuatlah rescue boat kelas III (panjang kapal antara 20 s.d. < 30 m) berbahan dasar Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) sebagai salah satu alternatif solusi untuk menambah rescue boat di kota Kendari. Rescue boat kelas III didesain berdasarkan kepada aturan yang dikeluarkan oleh Badan SAR Nasional (BASARNAS) dengan ukuran kapal sebagai berikut: Loa = 20 m; B = 5,5 m; H = 2,1 m; T = 1 m. Rescue boat kelas III dirancang dengan kecepatan sebesar 21 knot, sehingga membutuhkan 4 outboard motor dengan daya 700 HP tiap motornya. Kapal ini didesain dengan fasilitas yang mampu mengangkut 30 orang yang terdiri dari 4 orang ABK, 4 orang tenaga medis, serta sisanya untuk para korban dan anggota BASARNAS. Penentuan laminasi untuk rescue boat kelas III telah disesuaikan dengan formula yang terdapat di BKI Volume 5 Rules for FRP Ships edisi tahun 2016. Perlengkapan keselamatan untuk rescue boat kelas III juga telah disesuaikan dengan peraturan yang ada, mulai dari alat komunikasi, GPS, peralatan selam, peralatan kesehatan, lifebuoys, life jacket, dan peralatan keselamatan lainnya

Abstract

Sampang Regency has tourism potential, one of which is the Klampis Reservoir in Kedundung Village. Reservoir with an area of ​​approximately 1 hectare is a catchment area that has not been properly optimized by the community. This condition is exacerbated by the presence of wild plants that disturb the view. So that this research provides an innovation in the form of a source boad suggestion. To support the facilities, an analysis of the factors of tourist interest in visiting is carried out in order to synchronize the needs of the community with the invasion given. The method used is SPSS to improve quality and improve the quality of a variable. This method uses analysis of questionnaire data. This study uses 30 questionnaire samples to strengthen the results of the analysis. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that most influence the sustainability of the tourist village area through the means of bounty boad. The results of the research on factors that can influence are the availability of facilities and infrastructure with an average total value of 500.

Abstract

The Mini Aquatec Mobilize design is an innovation given as the development of a floating chart, which is currently used as a place for fish farming. This development aims to optimize the function of a crab for cultivation, fishing, and tourism. It is placed on the cruise line 5 miles from the coast, with coverage of the coastal area of Madura. Through this innovation, food security is hoped to increase through fish farming and ecotourism for the community. The purpose of this study is to design a general plan. The general plan is a drawing to determine the location of the rooms, equipment, and the amount of equipment on board in 2D form. The method used uses a comparison ship, which is then carried out by making designs through application assistance. From the research, the main ship dimensions were L = 15.00 m, B = 4.00 m, H = 1.71 m, and T = 0.86 m. With a total of 20 passengers and the need for lights for aquaculture, namely 2 (20 watts) deck lights, 2 (500 watts) spotlights and 12 (15 watts) decoy lights.

Abstract

The State Polytechnic of Madura (POLTERA), located in Sampang Regency, East Java, was established in 2012. Its location outside the city of Sampang and directly on the coast means that the groundwater source at POLTERA is brackish. Meanwhile, the municipal water supply (PDAM) has not yet reached the coastal area. Consequently, to meet its clean water needs, POLTERA has been purchasing three tanks of clean water each day. This water supply is not intended to meet consumable needs.This research will analyze the daily clean water needs at POLTERA and design the pump and pipeline for a sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) system. The outcome of this research is a plan for the SWRO pump and piping lines based on a case study at the POLTERA campus. The research found that the daily clean water requirement at POLTERA is 170.33 m³.The pump and piping system in the SWRO works by flowing brackish water from a well into a pretreatment tank. The water is then filtered in stages through a 5-micron sediment filter, a 1-micron sediment filter, and a Granular Active Carbon (GAC) filter to remove particles and harmful substances. It is then pumped at a pressure of 10–15 bar to meet the requirements of the RO process. Next, the water enters the RO membrane to produce fresh water, which is stored in a storage tank. The water then passes through a post-carbon filter to improve its smell and taste before finally being ready for consumption.
