Abstract

The piezoelectric speed bumps designed in this study consist of a speed bump mechanical system that functions to receive input from motorized vehicle pressure, piezoelectric cantilever system as a component producing electrical energy and energy harvesting system as energy harvester from piezoelectric material. One system module consists of a piezoelectric parallel circuit connected to the MB39C811 buck converter. In this paper, we will discuss the mechanism for analyzing the design and modeling of a piezoelectric power plant system on a bluff body-based speed bump with a cantilever system for variations in motor vehicle speed by means of physical modeling. In the piezoelectric speed bump in the form of a bluff body, it can be seen that the air flow when passing through the triangular cross section has an increase in speed so that the resulting vortex has a high speed. This is what causes high vibrations in the piezoelectric so that the maximum voltage and the average voltage are the highest. Piezoelectric speed bumps are capable of generating electrical power with an input of 60 times the motorized vehicle track of 2.166mWh with an efficiency of 2.87% compared to manual input.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and Maturity Level of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (K3L) on Performance Achievement, with Cultural Transformation as an intervening variable at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 North Medan. The study involved 130 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the validity, reliability, and relationships among the research variables. The results indicate that both OHSMS implementation and K3L Maturity Level have a positive and significant effect on Performance Achievement, both directly and indirectly through Cultural Transformation as a mediator. Furthermore, Cultural Transformation significantly mediates the relationship between OHSMS implementation and K3L Maturity Level on Performance Achievement, thus enhancing the effectiveness of the OHSMS and K3L systems in improving organizational performance. This study provides practical implications for the management of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan Utara to continue improving OHSMS implementation, developing K3L Maturity Level, and strengthening Cultural Transformation as a strategy to enhance employee performance. The study also contributes theoretically by reinforcing empirical evidence of Cultural Transformation's mediating role in the context of occupational health and safety.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Stress and Work Discipline on Employee Performance with Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable at PT HKI Jakarta. This research is an explanatory research with a quantitative approach, and the methods used in this study are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. The population in this study is a homogeneous limited population, namely PT HKI Jakarta employees as many as 68 permanent employees. The technique used in sampling using saturated sampling, so that the number of samples is 68 respondents. The data analysis technique is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using the Smartpls program.4. The results showed that work discipline did not have a significant influence on employee performance variables. Work discipline has a significant influence on work motivation variables. Work motivation has a significant influence on employee performance variables. Work stress has a significant influence on employee performance variables. Work stress has a significant influence on work motivation variables. Work discipline indirectly through work motivation as an intervening variable has a significant effect on the performance of PT HKI Jakarta employees. Work stress indirectly through work motivation as an intervening variable has a significant effect on the performance of PT HKI Jakarta employees.
