Abstract

The research aims to identify the impact of tourism on the culture of the Urug traditional village; the data analysis technique used the qualitative method where the research carried out observation and interviews and the SWOT technique. The resulting study is the Urug traditional village maintains culture, such as traditional ceremonies such as Muludan, Seren Taunan, activities Sedekah Bumi and traditional houses. They still adhere to the rules of tradition and custom that are arranged to have pits and rice granaries and the shape of a house that has characteristics typical Sundanese or called Julang Ngapak where the traditional building is in the form of a house on stilts.

Abstract

As the cultural centre of the Betawi Tribe, the Betawi Cultural Village is known as a destination that provides cultural tourism to tourists and is one of the destinations that won 1st Place in the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award in the CHSE Category. Behind its success, there is community participation in it. So, this article aims to find out how they form community participation in the recovery of cultural tourism and see its development from the Environmental and Social sides. This article uses a qualitative approach described by descriptive analysis, in-depth interviews, literature studies, and field observations, assisted with the theory of participation and the view of community-based tourism to analyse the forms of community participation and aspects of its development. The results showed that the community participated in the product in Betawi Cultural Village with a record of involvement that is Spontaneous, Coercive and Induced. Based on the aspects of Community-Based Tourism applied in the development process. The UPK and local communities successfully collaborated to realise the values of the environment and socio-culture and use the CHSE protocol to recover cultural tourism. This is also marked by the award of 1st Place in the CHSE Category Tourism Village Award won by the Betawi Cultural Village. This research is reference material and foundation so that the development of Betawi Cultural Village will be better and widely known in the future

Abstract

This study aims to identify tourism potential and a set of strategies for a competitive rural tourism development using a case study in Sukajadi Tourism Village, Bogor Regency, West Java. This study is a descriptive qualitative type with an exploratory case study approach. Primary data were obtained from deep field observation and interview with key informants, while secondary data was obtained from the results of literature studies and documentation. This research used identification analysis techniques of 11 tourism components modified from several experts, CHSE analysis, work program government (PROKER), market preferences, and SWOT analysis as well as SWOT Matrix. The result of this study was obtained great potential and 15 main strategies for the development of the Sukajadi Tourism Village which is currently starting to grow, namely making serious and aggressive efforts on the internal aspects of village tourism destination, as well as collaboration with tourism industry and  local governments to create a competitive rural tourism destination. An active and aggressive strategy is needed for the development of Sukajadi village as a competitive rural tourism destination, based on micro and macro perspectives.

Abstract

Chinatown, Glodok became one of the cultural-based tourism where the place is very attached to Chinese Culture. Cultural Tourism is one tourism activity that presents cultural attraction distinguished from other special interests of tradition or advocacy. Glodok Chinatown significantly linked to Chinese culture and culinary tourism that is still diverse with Chinese foods, old buildings are maintained, and the surrounding community, whose majority ethnic group. This study was conducted in Chinatown, Glodok West Jakarta. Data collection by interview and observation. At the same time, the method of analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The problem formulation focused on 1) How the community's efforts in preserving and developing a culture in Chinatown, Glodok 2. How do cultural tourism activities have an impact on tourism development in Chinatown? Glodok the results of this study show that cultural tourism Glodok Chinatown has an attraction to culture-based tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the tourism attraction management strategy in Kampoeng Bisnis Tegal Waru after the Covid-19 pandemic in Jl. Pulekan No. 31, RT.01/RW01, Ciampea Bojong Jengkol, Bogor. The research method used in this research is qualitative, where the results obtained in this study are from interviews and observations conducted in Kampoeng Bisnis Tegal Waru. The interviews and observations carried out were on the manager and owner as well as two Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) in Kampoeng Bisnis Tegal Waru. The resulting study of the post-Covid-19 tourist attraction management strategy implemented by the founder and owner of Kampoeng Bisnis Tegal Waru was the assistance in the form of capital funds, providing MSME owners with additional knowledge and skills in the field of Social Entrepreneurship, counseling regarding health protocols and getting the MSMEs ready after the pandemic.
