Abstract

Investasi memiliki peran sangat penting dan strategis dalam perekonomian suatu negara, karena menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, memungkinkan transfer teknologi, dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan penelitian Analisis Investasi Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Sikka, untuk menganalisa potensi sumberdaya (sektor dan komoditas unggulan) di Kabupaten Sikka. Alat analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab masalah ini yakni; analisis Tipologi Klassen dan analisis ICOR. Hasil kajian sektor dan komoditas unggulan di Kabupaten Sikka meliputi Konstruksi dan Jasa Keuangan dan Asuransi. Selain itu beberapa sektor yang berkembang dan berpotensi untuk menjadi unggul adalah Pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan; Pertambangan dan Penggalian; Industri Pengolahan; Pengadaan air, Pengelolaan Sampah, Limbah, dan Daur Ulang; dan Jasa Pendidikan. Perhitungan ICOR Kabupaten Sikka menunjukkan hasil yang negatif. Artinya, investasi di Kabupaten Sikka belum mencapai tingkat efisien. yang berarti karena Kabupaten Sikka belum memiliki tambahan nilai tambah yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) simply cannot be doubted, because it proved able to survive and become a cog economy, especially after the economic crisis. The purpose of the study of improving the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Kota Kupang are: 1). Identify the profile of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, 2). Identify the product value chain of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, 3). Analyzing the advantages of private and social benefits of products of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, 4). Analyzing the comparative and competitive advantages of products of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, 5). Identifying constraints faced by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, 6). Creating models, strategies and actions to improve the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. To improve the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Kota Kupang, required the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with cluster models; through the program input pro, pro process, and pro output; with the following stages: a). Human resource development; technical assistance, empowerment groups, and advocacy, b).Upstream-downstream cluster program; processing, packaging and waste treatment; c).Supporting factors; access to markets, access to financing and supporting facilities. Cluster program can be applied to the commitment and cooperation between the Agency and the relevant stakeholders.

Abstract

Considering the establishment of Asean Economic Comunity is (i) the potential of lowering production expense in ASEAN cost 10-20 percent for goods consumption as an impact of economic integration; (ii) Raising competence of the region with standart implementation and international practic, intelectual property rights and competition. The purpose of this research is (i) to analyze the development of PDRB for 5(five) years (year 2010-2015) (ii) To analyze basic economis sector (superior) which can increase the effort of the region to compete in Asean Economic Comunity, (iii) To analyze potential economic sectors which is improved to suport economic development in Kupang City, and (iv) To find out to obstacles the government of Kupang City to cope with Asean Economic Comunity. Confronting to Asean Economic Comunity, the goverment of Kupang City make a program to incrase competition efforts to give some aid to all of businessmen, to improve the infrastructure, to raise the investation climate, and a program to increase human resource.

Abstract

Scavengers are a group of urban poor who work in the informal sector, with their main activity being the collection of used goods every day to sell in order to meet their living needs. This condition places the management of income and expenditure as a key factor in efforts to improve the welfare of scavenger households. The income earned by scavengers at the Alak Landfill includes cash as well as goods and services. From an economic perspective, cash income contributes to an increase in household spending budgets, while income in the form of goods and services helps reduce expenses, which indirectly expands their spending capacity. A deep understanding of the dynamics of the lives of scavenger households in Alak District is crucial in designing effective strategies to improve their income and welfare. Therefore, a comprehensive study is needed to identify the challenges faced by scavenger families and find practical solutions, so that it can serve as the foundation for the implementation of this service program at TPAS Alak, Kupang City. The service team at TPAS Alak held a socialization event related to financial management, focusing on two main aspects. First, providing financial education to scavengers to help them manage household income and expenses more efficiently. Second, providing access to financial counseling services that support scavengers in budgeting and overseeing various financial challenges. This program has a positive impact on the scavengers at the Alak Landfill Site, including improved welfare for them and their families, increased access to financial services, as well as enhanced economic independence and a better understanding of financial management.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of entrepreneurship education, community-based guidance, and social capital on the independence of social creative businesses in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 respondents and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results demonstrate that all three factors significantly contribute to the independence of social creative businesses. Entrepreneurship education equips entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge, while community-based guidance fosters collective problem-solving and resource sharing. Social capital emerges as the strongest predictor, emphasizing the importance of trust and networks in achieving entrepreneurial autonomy. These findings underscore the need for targeted policies and programs to support the growth and sustainability of social creative businesses in Jakarta.

Abstract

This paper presents a strategic study on the development of an inclusive and sustainable creative economy in Sikka Regency, aiming to identify the potential and challenges in implementing creative economy development policies. The background of this research is driven by the urgent need to enhance the role of the creative economy sector as a driver of local economic growth and the lack of comprehensive studies on integrating inclusivity and sustainability aspects. The novelty of this research lies in its multidimensional approach, combining economic, social, and cultural analyses, which have not been extensively explored before. The research methodology includes literature studies, in-depth interviews with industry stakeholders, and secondary data analysis from relevant institutions. The findings indicate that inclusive strategies encourage community participation and innovation while contributing to regional economic growth. The conclusion highlights the importance of stakeholder collaboration in implementing adaptive policies. This study provides strategic directions for regional creative economy development. The findings offer an empirical foundation for formulating innovative policies to optimize the role of the creative economy in sustainable development at both regional and national levels.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of financial literacy, record-keeping practices, challenges, and opportunities for developing ikat weaving MSMEs in Kupang City. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method with 60 MSMEs, and data analysis was conducted through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that the level of financial literacy of MSMEs is moderate (58.2%), with recording practices that are still simple and not yet digitized. The main challenges faced include a limited understanding of accounting, time constraints, and inadequate technological skills. However, there is a significant opportunity to improve the quality of recording through training, the adoption of digital applications, and support from various stakeholders. Inferentially, financial literacy and recording practices have a positive and significant impact on MSME development opportunities, whereas challenges have a significant negative impact. These findings highlight the importance of synergy among the government, financial institutions, academics, and communities in enhancing the financial reporting capacity of MSMEs, tailored to local culture, to support business sustainability and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran serta peran generasi muda, khususnya siswa OSIS SMA Katolik Sint Carolus Penfui Kupang, dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui pemahaman konsep blue economy dan pengelolaan sampah berbasis prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyusunan modul, pelatihan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, serta pendampingan pembentukan Eco-Youth Leaders sebagai motor penggerak kesadaran lingkungan di sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pemahaman awal siswa terhadap blue economy masih terbatas, setelah dilakukan sosialisasi terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan komitmen untuk menginisiasi program ramah lingkungan, termasuk rencana pembentukan pojok sampah dan kampanye pengurangan sampah plastik yang dilakukan oleh OSIS. Pengabdian ini membuka peluang kolaborasi berkelanjutan antara sekolah, mahasiswa, dan perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang aplikatif. Dengan dukungan berkesinambungan, generasi muda dapat menjadi agen perubahan dalam membangun kesadaran lingkungan sekolah dan ekonomi wilayah yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penyebaran wabah virus corona yang cepat berdampak pada berbagai sektor kehidupan. Setidaknya ada 210 negara yang terinfeksi virus corona di mana berbagai langkah dan kebijakan telah dilakukan karena penyebaran virus ini yang cepat. Lembaga keuangan juga terpengaruh oleh kebijakan yang diterapkan ini dan serikat kredit adalah salah satu lembaga yang terkena dampak ini. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap kinerja keuangan serikat kredit dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa credit union masih tumbuh selama masa Covid-19
