Abstract

The community's need for higher education in Indonesia continues to grow, seen from the increasing number of higher education institutions every year. Dinamika University as one of 328 Private Universities (PU) in East Java has implemented marketing tools using a website ( www.dinamika.ac.id ). However, the availability of the website has not been proven to be effective in attracting new students to register at Dinamika University. From 5134 new students, 3785 students (74%) received admissions information through offline media, 1256 students (24%) through online media, and 93 students (2%) through other media. This study aims to determine the effect of the design of visual and verbal web page elements on the buying interest of new students through customer experience. This study combines the PLS-SEM as an analytical method and the Double Diamond method in designing web page recommendations using Warp PLS 7.0 and Adobe XD. 100 experimental respondents were obtained from the purposive sampling method. In the process of designing web page recommendations, the crazy 8 design method will be used to sketch design, supervoting to select design recommendations, and usability testing to test prototypes. The results of this study prove that there is a significant influence between visual web page design on customer experience, verbal web page design on customer experience, verbal web page design on buying interest, customer experience on buying interest, visual web page design on buying interest through customer experience. However, there is also an insignificant effect between visual web page design on buying interest, verbal web page design on buying interest through customer experience. The results of testing the prototype obtained an average score of "Very Good" in its usefulness value.

Abstract

UMKM Batu Cincin Mandiri terdapat beberapa kendala dalam proses penjualan produk yang mengakibatkan penurunan omset. Proses bisnis yang dilakukan oleh UMKM Batu Cincin pada saat ini adalah menerima pemesanan batu cincin yang dipilih oleh pelanggan, ketika batu cincin yang dipesan tersebut sudah tersedia maka dapat dilakukan pembayaran secara lunas, apabila barang tidak tersedia maka pelanggan dapat melakukan pemesanan dengan memberikan uang muka terlebih dahulu, setelah barang sudah tersedia pelanggan dapat melakukan pembayaran secara lunas. Adanya pandemi covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia pada bulan Maret 2020 menyebabkan penurunan omset penjualan pada UMKM Batu Cincin, dikarenakan pada saat ini tidak memungkinkan bagi pelanggan untuk datang langsung ke toko dan dengan adanya penerapan PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) oleh pemerintah mengakibatkan berkurangnya jam operasional usaha dan lambatnya saluran distribusi.Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, UMKM Batu Cincin Mandiri membutuhkan sebuah aplikasi e-commerce yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan serta dapat menjangkau wilayah pemasaran yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi e-commerce berbasis website yang dapat mengelola data, melakukan proses penjualan, dan pembuatan laporan.

Abstract

UD Eka is a manufacture company that produce slippers, soles, and shoes. The procurement process of raw materials can be done if the amount of raw materials stock in the warehouse has reached the minimum stock or running out. The company does not do definite calculation in determining quantity of raw materials that have to be ordered.  Problems that often experienced by the company is out of raw materials stock at the time of the production process takes place. It might be happen because the absence of raw material requirement plan to avoid the mistake of the amount of raw materials that have to be ordered. Therefore, to overcome the problems, the raw material procurement information system based on the calculation of material requirement planning (MRP) was made. The application can calculate the net requirement of raw material or item (Netting), determine the quantity of raw material or item that will be ordered (Lot Sizing), determine when order must be done (Offsetting), and calculate requirement of raw material or item at lower level. Based on the experimental result conducted by PPIC Managers, this application can be used to plan raw materials and procurement of raw materials. Moreover, this application can generate MRP action reports, raw material requirements reports, raw material acceptance reports, raw material expenditure reports, raw material inventory cards, and supplier performance reports based on actual average leadtime.

Abstract

The AEMA Glasses store is a shop that sells various accessories that was founded in 2010, the shop provides various driving accessories such as glasses, cloth slayer, mask buff, gloves, hats, masks and belts. Currently the AEMA Glasses shop is only a shop, so the buying and selling process only occurs in that shop. This is a drawback for this store because customers who want to order from outside the area cannot be served quickly and customers also cannot see the catalog available in the store. In addition, shop employees also experience difficulties in recording sales and calculating shop turnover because this AEMA shop still uses books and a calculator in the transaction process, which causes frequent differences in the number of goods calculations.Based on the existing problems, a web-based UI / UX design solution was found with the Lean UX method which consists of several stages, including Declare Assumption, Create MVP, Run an Experiment, and Feedback and Research. By including 30 samples, namely AEMA Glasses shop customers and 7 samples, namely AEMA Glasses store employees, so a total of 37 samples.Based on the results of the analysis and observations that have been made, a prototype design was made using the Lean UX method which was then tested on AEMA Glasses customers and AEMA Glasses employees which resulted in the success rate of prototype testing for customers reaching 72% and the success rate of prototype testing for admins reaching 86%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) di Sekolah Menengah Ketintang di Surabaya, guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) memiliki tugas melaksanakan implementasi layanan konseling dan menangani pelanggaran siswa. Masalah yang sering terjadi adalah siswa melakukan konseling hanya untuk menghindari kelas atau pelajaran tertentu, siswa jarang melakukan konseling karena malu atau takut untuk menyampaikan masalah, dan dokumentasi layanan konseling dan penanganan pelanggaran siswa yang masih menggunakan metode manual. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, aplikasi E-Konseling dibangun. Desain dan pembuatan aplikasi E-Konseling berdasarkan pada proses bisnis yang ada dalam kegiatan layanan konseling dan penanganan pelanggaran siswa di SMK Ketintang Surabaya, serta merujuk pada spesifikasi kebutuhan pengguna dan melanjutkan melalui tahapan dalam System Development Life Cycle ( SDLC) model air terjun. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang telah dilakukan, penerapan E-Counseling dapat membantu dalam konseling dan menangani pelanggaran siswa, memfasilitasi konseling dan dokumentasi pelanggaran, membantu guru BK untuk mengetahui siswa yang membutuhkan arahan khusus, dan membantu guru BK dalam mengelola laporan untuk kegiatan evaluasi

Abstract

The presence of online transportation applications that allow transportation services to be ordered and paid online has been rife in Indonesia, especially in the city of Surabaya. One of the transportation that can be ordered online is motorcycle taxi. Applications that provide online motorcycle transportation services are GoRide and GraBike. Currently there are differences in user acceptance of the GoRide and GraBike online transportation applications in the city of Surabaya due to the advantages and disadvantages of each application. To overcome these problems, researchers will evaluate the level of acceptance of GoRide and GraBike online transportation application users, which focus on Gojek and Grab users in the city of Surabaya using the UTAUT method. This study aims to determine the factors that influence user acceptance of GoRide and GraBike online transportation applications. The variables in the UTAUT method used to analyze consist of six variables, namely Performance Expectancy, Business Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions in influencing users' perceptions of interest behave (Behavioral Intention) to use technology (Use Behavior).

Abstract

One of the keys to success in building e-commerce that can provide convenience and comfort for its users is knowing the users' needs. This study aims to create a website-based online store application that can improve user experience, especially for Jaya Utama Bearing companies engaged in selling industrial goods and auto spare parts so that they have detailed with clear product information, consumers can easily make transactions online, have an attractive visual design, and makes it easier for companies to manage and store sales reports. Based on the results of interviews with 30 customers using the User Experience Questionnaire, it was found that on the previous website, for the factors of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation and novelty, the results were below average and even bad, causing a decrease in income due to lost consumer loyalty. The results of this study are a catalog feature that can be filtered by category to display detailed product information, product purchase features, chat features to accommodate customer questions before buying, review or feedback features after a purchase transaction, and a sales report recording feature. The researcher also compared websites before and after using UEQ with the same 30 respondents, where it was seen that the scores for the six factors had increased from below average to above average and bad to good.

Abstract

Instagram sebagai salah satu media pemasaran digital memiliki peran besar dalam meningkatkan omzet penjualan perusahaan. Hal ini ditunjang dengan luasnya jangkauan Instagram dalam meraih perhatian konsumen, sehingga cocok digunakan oleh PT Mitra Hutama Bersinar sebagai tempat branding produk baru Hobby Madu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang bagaimana strategi digital marketing Instagram dapat meningkatkan omzet Hobby madu, dengan menggunakan metode SOSTAC yang komplek mulai dari situation analysis, objectives 5S', strategy STOP & SIT, tactics 8P’, and action, dan membuat key performance indicator pada setiap objective. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tercapainya omzet yang naik sebesar Rp 193.030.000 dengan total penjualan sebesar 3.317 jar madu terjual, hal ini didukung adanya aksi yang dilakukan pada Instagram dengan mleakukan pengaturan otomatisasi direct chat, pembuatan konten yang dirancang menggunakan API Meta Business Suite. Dengan konten berjenis feed, story, dan reels yang diunggah otomatis dengan sistem planner pada pukul 18:00 WIB berdasarkan waktu aktif pengguna Instagram. Hal ini yang berakibat pada 23.279 jangkauan akun Instagram yang didominasi usia 18-54 tahun di kota Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Surabaya, dan Bekasi dengan total followers mencapai 694 dengan 349 followers melakukan kunjungan profile. Selain itu kenaikan omzet ini didukung dengan pembuatan campaign Instagram yang menghasilkan terjual habis 20 produk hampers. Kata kunci: Digital Marketing, Sosial Media, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, SOSTAC.

Abstract

SMA Dr. Soetomo Surabaya is one of the private high schools in Surabaya that has a vision to create a school with a religious, nationalistic, independent, high-achieving and global perspective. SMA Dr. Soetomo Surabaya has around 50 teachers and education personnel and 654 active students in the odd semester of 2024/2025. To improve the quality of teachers and the learning process at school, SMA Dr. Soetomo sent 33 teachers to learn about creating learning media using the Canva application. This application is a platform for creativity in managing learning content in various forms, such as power points. There are many templates from power points that have been provided in the Canva application that can be selected by teachers to support the creation of learning media. Teachers can innovate in arranging power point components, inserting supporting components such as images/audio/video/ animation to attract students' attention. The results of participant feedback at the end of the training showed that 97,8% Teachers can understand the material given and trainers can provide innovative learning media solutions according to the current needs of students.

Abstract

In this digital era, programming skills are fundamental, but high school curriculums often do not accommodate this need in depth. Realizing this gap, a Community Service activity entitled "Introduction to the World of Coding: Basic Programming Training for Students of SMA Negeri 5 Surabaya" was carried out. This training aims to equip students with basic programming knowledge and skills to prepare them for digital challenges. The implementation method is divided into three stages: pre-implementation, implementation, and evaluation. The pre-implementation stage includes identifying partner needs, formulating materials (Python as a programming language), and preparing a schedule of four meetings in November-December 2024. The implementation was carried out offline with an interactive direct instruction method, including material explanations, direct practice, discussions, and assignments. The evaluation results showed the effectiveness of the training. Based on the satisfaction questionnaire using the Likert scale (Parasuraman), the overall average reached 4.76 (out of 5), indicating that participants strongly agreed with the implementation of the training. The aspects of reliability (4.83) and responsiveness (4.80) received the highest scores. This shows that this basic programming training has succeeded in increasing the interest and insight of students of SMA Negeri 5 Surabaya in the world of coding.
