Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of cartoon-based media in improving the learning of Islamic religious education at SMK Ar-Rahma Carat Gempol Pasuruan. The type used in this research is descriptive qualitative type, the data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources with observation, interview and documentation research methods. The findings of this study are (1) The use of cartoon animation media can attract students' attention and can increase students' interest in teaching and learning activities. (2) The advantages of using cartoon animation media are that it can make students more enthusiastic and interested, and can make students understand the material presented, so that students are motivated to participate in learning activities. (3) The weakness of using this animation media is inadequate facilities such as lack of projectors, so it can hinder the progress of learning activities. (4) The solution to overcome the weaknesses is that before using animation media as learning materials, it would be better if the teacher prepares the material to be taught, the teacher pays attention to the students' sitting position so that it is routinely rolled from front to back and vice versa, so that when the animation video is played, students can see clearly and added with several other projectors. To create a conducive and comfortable atmosphere, and to provide some questions for the students when the learning process is completed.

Abstract

MI Darut Taqwa adalah suatu lembaga pendidikan tingkat dasar yang berada di Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Purwosari Pasuruan, yang bertempat di Dusun Kembang Kuning Purwosari Pasuruan Jawa Timur. Melihat berbagai problematika didalam kelas diantaranya, penanaman nilai akidah akhlak yang belum maksimal, sehingga banyak pembuliyan, penurunan moral banyak terjadi di lembaga MI Darut Taqwa serta kurangnya rasa saling menghormati terhadap sesama teman sehingga menyebabkan bertengkar antar siswa.Fokus penelitian dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah : (1) Impementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak dalam meningkatkan karakter religius siswa di MI Darut Taqwa (2) Faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat pembelajaran akidah akhlak dalam meningkatkan karakter religius siswa di MI Darut TaqwaTujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui apa definisi pembelajaran akidah akhlak dalam meningkatkan karakter religius siswa. (2) untuk mendekripsikan implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak dalam meningkatkan karakter relogius siswa.Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan : metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian MI Darut Taqwa Purwosari Pasuruan. Pengumpulan data mengunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi pada kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi sumber, sebab pada penelitian ini data yang diperoleh akan dikumpulkan dan mengetahui kebenerannya.Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak digunkan oleh guru kelas V dan VI yang diharapkan membantu dalam meningkatkan karakter religius siswa. Tentunya agar dapat dilakuakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tahfidzul Qur’an learning program and its impact on shaping Qur’anic character among students at SMP Nurul Qudus Beji, Pasuruan. Tahfidz education is regarded as a strategic effort in developing religious, disciplined, responsible, and morally upright Muslim individuals. The research employs a qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Tahfidzul Qur’an program is integrated into the school curriculum, with class groupings based on students’ skill levels. Various memorization methods are used, including wahdah, talaqqi, takrir, and tasmi’, with a structured schedule to support learning consistency. The program contributes not only to improving students’ Qur’anic memorization but also significantly shapes their character—especially in aspects of discipline, responsibility, politeness, and spiritual awareness. Moreover, a collaborative learning environment encourages peer support and shared motivation. Despite existing challenges, such as low student motivation, time constraints, and internal or external distractions, dedicated teacher strategies and adaptive methods play a vital role in overcoming them. This research affirms that the Tahfidzul Qur’an program is an effective medium for cultivating a Qur’an-centered generation amidst modern challenges.

Abstract

The character education model and national education goals encouraged researchers to develop a lesson that could improve the learning outcomes of Aqidah Akhlak in students. The learning conducted by the 8th-grade Islamic Religion Education Teachers was considered unsuccessful, as only 27 out of 40 students or 67,5% reached the KKM (Minimum Completion Criteria), and only 13 students or 32,5% achieved the KKM. This was evident due to the students' lack of active participation and enthusiasm, low response and interest, and difficulty in developing ideas during the learning process. To address these issues, an effective strategy was implemented to improve students' abilities using the Quantum Teaching learning model. This strategy aimed to create an active and enjoyable learning atmosphere, boost students' self-confidence, and increase their learning motivation and outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak lessons at MTs Darussalam in Pungging District, Mojokerto Regency. The study used a qualitative or critical approach through four stages of classroom action research: (1) action plan, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The data for this research consists of the Quantum Teaching instructional model. Process data is obtained from student learning activities during the stage of giving motivation, structuring the learning environment, learning styles, and taking notes. Data results are obtained from student essays. The main instruments used in this study are the researcher, assisted by the collaborator teacher, using a guide sheet for observing student activities, and a rubric guideline for assessing essay results. The success criterion for learning Aqidah Akhlak in this study was set at 32,5% of students reaching the KKM, which is 76. However, based on the research findings, it was concluded that the target standardization of at least 92,5% of students achieving proficiency had not been met. Therefore, cycle I was necessary, followed by cycle II to improve learning outcomes until reaching the 92,5% proficiency level. With this achievement, it can be stated that the established learning model was acceptable, specifically the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model in enhancing learning outcomes for 8th-grade students at MTs Darussalam Pungging Mojokerto
