Abstract

This paper will discuss about CNC turning machining process. One of the way to increase productivity in CNC machining process is by tooling process sequencing in processing workpiece feature. Tool sequencing in CNC turning machining process can be made by comparing tool sequencing process model 1 (turning3. SD1) with tool sequence process model 2 (turning1. SD1), these activity is needed to measure the distance effect from workpiece cutting process with tool in z axis. Comparison between model 1 and model 2 can be a guidance to achieve the optimum processing time. This paper is expected could explain how to increase processing time productivity by feeding tool sequence for cutting process. Another advantage from feeding tool sequence is the short cuting time that directly decrease maximum cutting (Flmax) and also unproper NC machining program.

Abstract

Pekerjaan pengangkatan merupakan salah satu penyebab utama low back pain. Kompensasi ekonomi yang diberikan perusahaan dalam penanganan low back pain sangat besar. Salah satu model analisis pekerjaan pengangkatan yang banyak digunakan yaitu model Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation. Tujuan dari model Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation adalah mengurangi resiko kecelakaan kerja akibat pekerjaan pengangkatan. Model ini rumit sehingga memerlukan ketelitian tinggi dalam perhitungan manual, khususnya untuk kasus multi task. Program aplikasi untuk model tersebut sudah tersedia tetapi bersifat komersial. Adapun program aplikasi gratis memiliki fitur kurang lengkap. Perancangan program aplikasi menggunakan pendekatan berorientasi objek dengan bahasa permodelan UML. Perancangan user interface program aplikasi berdasarkan diagram UML. Rancangan human model dibuat untuk memodelkan input data berupa hand location dan asymetric angle. Tahap akhir penelitian yaitumenterjemahkan perancangan ke dalam bahasa pemograman. Hasil penelitian yaitu program aplikasi yang mendukung penuh analisis model Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation baik kasus single task maupun kasus multi task. Program aplikasi mampu memodelkan data input berupa hand location dan asymetric angle. Program aplikasi dapat mencetak laporan dengan standar publikasi NIOSH. Disamping itu terdapat beberapa fitur lain, seperti error message berupa pesan kesalahan apabila terjadi kesalahan input data dan help file yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna untuk mempelajari program aplikasi.

Abstract

The competition on industry that being increase, and the rapidly development of industry, encourage the industrialization to move the production more effective and efficient, so can press down the production cost that have to paid. One of them is redesigning machine or production equipment that still have manually characteristic. This research was redesign the machine production that is scales tools which is moved manually, so this condition need a long time in scales process. Redesign the scales tools doing by using the automatic toward it. The method that was choosing is implementation the microcontroller system control technology.Microcontroller is IC that was function to control, give instruction and produce the signals that will send to infrared censor, optocoupler and relay to move conveyor motor and motor arm. Microcontroller used as controlling module system. This control module use OP AMP, ADC, relay, LDR and opto encourage working process. In the last design was produce prototype scales tools that give easily in scales process, so can accelerate prototype working process, production cost more cheap and increasing production capacity.

Abstract

Designing of pattern at iron ductile product later on machinery process, it can be comprehend that correctness of workpiece dimension made at coran with acute angle which difficult to make. Other consideration is media weared in moulding. Workpiece dimension that made have to can eliminate the occuring of air bubble, holes tail and can improve the nature of mechanical. Mould pattern require to be performed by treatment to prevent the occuring of inappropiate among small radius and wide radius that to be made sufficiently to guarantee influence of addition. Abstract

Plan acceptance of sampel with method of Military Standard 105E is prosedure which used in decision making to product yielded by company, background of this method him is to accommodate accomplishment of producer ekspektasi and consumer in inspection of[is quality of product with acceptance mechanism or deduction of lot. Pursuant to from amount of sampel proposals, existence of improvement of percentage of probability for normal inspection at quality of I mount 24% and quality of II mount 10%, tight inspection at quality of I mount 26% and quality of II mount 12%, diffuse inspection at quality of I mount 23% and quality of II mount 4%. While SOP proposal have the character of independent to the each category so that deduction of lot earn happened at every category not requiring accumulation of amount of found defect as SOP early.

Abstract

Experiment use Taguchi method, with quality characteristic is shear strength at brazing joint based on standard examination of AWS C3.2M/C3.2:2001, while anticipated factor can improve shear strength is temperature, time held up and refrigeration method at heat treatment process. Data processing use two analysis to determine optimal level setting, consist of analysis of mean and analysis of signal to noise ratio, then conducted confirmation experiment to test value of factor level setting predicted at optimal condition.

Abstract

Siklus berjalan umum dibagi menjadi dua fase, pertama cara berdiri atau tahap menahan beban dan tahap mengayun. Tahap cara berdiri dimulai pada jari kaki diam dan berakhir pada kontak tumit. Kedua kaki secara simultan berkontak dengan permukaan jalan dengan kira-kira 25% siklus two-step lengkap, bagian dari siklus ini didesain sebagai fase double-support. Pada saat berjalan antara fase single support dan double support, maka timbul getaran mekanik terutama bagi pengguna prosthetic. Getaran mekanik ini muncul pada prosthetic kaki dan selanjutnya mempengaruhi tekanan pada stump dengan frekuensi tekanan secara terus menerus berulang.Pengujian getaran mekanik pada prosthetic endoskeletal pada kecepatan 1,2 m/s2 untuk 28 detik/100 meter menunjukan mulai tidak stabil sampai dengan akhir jarak tempuh. Pada prosthetic eksoskeletal pada kecepatan 1,2 m/s2; 1,6 m/s2 dan 2,0 m/s2 sejak dari awal menunjukan sudah tidak stabil sampai dengan akhir dari jarak tempuh. Perulangan tekanan pada otot stump berdasarkan lamanya waktu tekanan terhadap frekuensi tekanan, frekuensi 100 Hz meskipun terjadi perulangan tekanan, tetap memberikan dampak rasa nyaman pada stump.

Abstract

The absence of the hand causes the disruption of organ function, this problem later emerged prosthetic as a tool for replacement of missing body parts. Basically prosthetic hand has two functions: as cosmetics and as a functional tool. The most important functional aspects of prosthetic hands is the ease of operation that can be seen from the magnitude of tensile force required by prosthetic hand while doing the a movement. The mechanism of motion system that is widely used by prosthetic hand is a cross cable system and cross bar system. Cross cable systems using cable to connect components that act as links knuckles on hand, when the withdrawal event of the cable happened, the cable will be tightened and the movement of the fingers may occur. Cross bar systems uses bar (rigid link) as a puller, so when withdrawal event of the rope at the end of the lever happened, the bar that connects the components with a finger lever puller will push or pull bar so that the finger will open or close. Prosthetic design significantly influence the magnitude of the dynamic tensile strength that makes it necessary to make an experiments to compare the design of motion mechanisms of cross cable systems and cross bar system, and evaluate the influence on the magnitude of the dynamic tensile force at the time of movement, so it can represent the natural movement of normal human fingers.

Abstract

Salah satu proses produksi shuttle cock yang kritis dalam arti dapat mempengaruhi kualitas produk adalah pada waktu pemotongan bulu ayam. Hal ini dikarenakan bentuk bulu hasil potongan dapat mempengaruhi bentuk cock itu sendiri. Selama ini pemotongan bulu ayam untuk produk cock dilakukan secara manual dengan bantuan alat gunting satu persatu sehingga hasil yang diperoleh sangat lambat dan memiliki bentuk cenderung beragam. karena itu pengusaha industri kecil memerlukan alat bantu pemotong bulu yang dapat digerakkan secara manual. Kegiatan ini mencoba membuat alat potong yang dapat membantu proses pemotongan bulu. Nilai tambah dari alat yang digunakan adalah adanya alat pemanas untuk membantu proses pemotongan bulu. Dengan alat pemanas ini bentuk potongan menjadi lebih rapi, dan dapat memotong tiga hingga lima buah bulu ayam.
