Abstract

Competition in the electronic industry in Indonesia is very tight, which encourages industries to compete with each other. PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia as one of the companies that produce television, especially Light Emitting Diode (LED) TV, often has problems related to quality, which are still many defects that occur in the production process. Based on the calculation of the DPMO (defects per million opportunities) average value and the sigma average value in January 2019, it was 672.67 and 4.71 respectively. The process capability index (Cpk) of production is 1.07724. The purpose of this study is to reduce the number of defects in PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia television factories using Six Sigma through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) stages. This quality improvement is simulated with a Monte Carlo simulation which is divided into 3 scenario success solutions (reduced number of no raster, no picture and no power defects). The Cpk value in the simulation results increases to 1.1; 1.11; and 1.12.

Abstract

Batik merupakan suatu warisan budaya Indonesia yang diakui oleh UNESCO sebagai warisan dunia. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, kehadiran batik – batik tiruan semakin banyak di pasaran. Permasalahan lain yaitu adanya klaim batik dari negara lain. Sehingga, hal ini mendorong kepada penggiat IKM batik untuk melakukan perlindungan ekstra, salah satunya yaitu dengan adanya sertifikasi Batik pada produk yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan komparasi sertifikasi antara sertifikasi SNI dengan pelabelan batik mark. Komparasi ini dilakukan guna mempermudah IKM batik dalam menentukan sertifikasi yang sesuai dengan keadaan IKM saat ini dan dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal sebagai upaya perlindungan IKM Batik Pandono. Penelitian ini menggunakan métode observasi langsung dan wawancara yang diolah menggunakan checklist. Sehingga, diperoleh hasil bahwa pada masing – masing sertifikasi memiliki tujuan yang berbeda, namun pelabelan batik mark dinilai lebih mudah diterapkan oleh IKM Batik Pandono dalam waktu dekat ini sesuai dengan kondisi IKM saat ini. Batik is an Indonesian cultural heritage that is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage. Along with the times, the presence of artificial batik is increasingly on the market. Another problema is the existence of batik claims from other countries. Thus, this encourages for IKM Batik to take extra protection, one of which is the existence of Batik’s certification. This study aims to provide a certification comparison between SNI certification and batik mark labeling. This comparison is carried out to make it easier for IKM Batik to determine certifications that are in accordance with the current state of IKM and can provide optimal results as an effort to protect IKM Batik Pandono. This study used direct observation and interviews which were processed using a checklist. Thus, the result is that each certification has a different purpose, but batik mark labeling is considered easier to apply by IKM Batik Pandono in the near future in accordance with the current conditions of IKM.

Abstract

The users of electric motorcycle in Indonesia are currently still limited. This is due to three main things, namely the limited amount of energy charging infrastructure, the lack of socialization regarding the knowledge of technical aspects of electric motorcycle and the financing aspects of electric motorcycle ownership. This research develops a conceptual design business model canvas of Mobile Battery Swap Charging Stations (MBSCS) for electric motorcycles which aim to find solutions to the three problems above. The development of the MBSCS model is an alternative to increase the number of electric charging infrastructure quickly, because the advantages of MBSCS include having a higher level of flexibility and simpler installation than Fixed Charging Stations. This research combines the need of increasing infrastructure and improving socialization to the community regarding the advantages of using electric motorcycle through marketing communication media. Increasing the understanding of technical aspects of electric motorcycle is expected to increase people's motivation to adopt electric motorcycle. This research uses secondary data to explore MBSCS business canvas model (BMC), MBSCS ecosystem, and MBSCS prototype design. The analysis illustrates the MBSCS ecosystem that align with the motorcycle users in Indonesia.  The existence of MBSCS is expected to significantly increase the buying interest, adoption, and diffusion of electric motors more broadly.

Abstract

Persaingan industri yang semakin ketat menyebabkan perlunya dilakukan pengukuran produktivitas agar perusahaan dapat meningkatkan performansinya di segala aspek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas proses produksi gondorukem di PT. XYZ menggunakan metode Objective Matrix (OMAX). Langkah-langkah pengukuran produktivitas dengan metode OMAX meliputi penentuan kriteria dan rasio performansi, penentuan skala performansi, penentuan score, weight, dan value, serta perhitungan indikator performansi. Terdapat tiga kriteria yang diukur pada penelitian ini, yaitu kriteria efektivitas produksi, kriteria pemakaian energi listrik, dan kriteria pemakaian bahan baku. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 6 bulan dengan performa yang tergolong kurang untuk kriteria pertama (46%), 4 bulan performa kurang untuk kriteria kedua (31%), dan 3 bulan dengan performa kurang untuk kriteria ketiga (23%). Analisis produktivitas perusahaan menunjukkan kenaikan nilai produktivitas tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Februari ke Maret sebesar 82% dan penurunan nilai produktivitas terbesar terjadi pada bulan November dengan indeks produktivitas sebesar -32%. Jika dilihat dari nilai produktivitasnya, nilai tertinggi dicapai pada bulan Desember dengan nilai 6,85, sedangkan nilai terendah dicapai pada bulan Agustus dengan nilai 0,45.
